What a waste of words, that seems to me now. My MArcs, and all the others out there, gone. it feels like I'm witnessing a book-burning.

Damn, they killed my superheroes...

I feel like Roy Batty.

Soloing Sister Psyche on my Emp defender, killing a god, winning a costume contest, writing in-character MArc reviews with the Psystem, Duoing the KHTF, decoreating my base, rolling alts, and a million more personal experiences, insignificant and momentous...all those moments will be lost in time...

I'll never invest so much of myself in an MMO again. A really harsh and painful lesson learned.

I made a "tears in rain" post like thirty seconds ago in an other topic, this made me think I accidently made a topic with it somehow. >_>

First I was reminded of the scene in the laboratory, while I was in the game store talking to a saleskid who'd played COH "for the first couple of months."

I felt like saying "The first couple of MONTHS? Oh, if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes...er, game."

Driving home empty-handed I was reminded of the rooftop scene.

"I've seen things those corporate beancounters at NCSoft wouldn't believe. Coordinated attacks to defeat Rikti drop ships over Talos Island! The five-year anniversary battle royale with archvillains in front of Atlas' City Hall! I soloed my favorite scrapper through a 0/x8 ITF, I was one half of a duo to take down all 18 pylons, plant bombs on the Rikti mothership, and defeat U'kon Grai...."

"And now all those moments will be lost in time, like...like...."

Yeah.

At least we've got that?
