Feeling a lil bleh about this Plumitt---no new news or really in depth info on anything.
Watched entire morning on ustream; feeling quite underwhelmed.
I23= New trial, Hybrid, some costumes, but no new power sets.
I24=Powers and some base love
Will watch the Powers panel and see if anything interesting is revealed. No mention of Sorcery Power Pool, Psi Melee, or "Feral" AT yet. They did discuss Water Blast, Nature Affinity, and Symbiotic Armor, but no details given on them. -

Gonna have to agree with Arcanaville on this one.
Is staff the best DPS set out there - nah. Is it the worst - nah. But you know what...it is a lot of fun and I have had no troubles/qualms with my staff/nrg scrap. I say ... Screw the numbers and play what makes ya feel good -
I wish they would get rid of all the AE building and make a small AE zone ... a hazard zone that requires you to be level 10 to get into

I absolutely love my Staff/NrG Scrap - imo a defense set is better in pve than resistance set.

I would like to see Eden become a Co-op zone. It is in a level range before DA and the itrials so it would get people into more co-op tasks together.
Maybe they could create a co-op tf or trial that is 8-12 people? I wouldn't want it to be a large trial (12 max imo).
I think Bricks getting a revamp would be awesome as well; especially if the Zig was made to be more useful/interactive.
As far as villain zones go ----- I the only reason I go redside is for badges/patrons -

Support had a role in PVP once upon a time *cries*. Reverting Castle's changes can be done with one Issue. It's not difficult or time consuming.
Pvp is not on their list of "to do's" for many reasons; budget being the biggest reason. There is no magical button to revert the mechanics to issue 12 and even if there were - that will not solve the issue of how borked pvp was back then.
3.5 years later - you would think that people would learn by now that it (Issue 12 pvp) is not coming back and that no major changes to pvp are on the devs list of priority issues.
Instead of asking for changes after Issue 13 - I learned to adapt to the new mechanics, kinda like the Chinese proverb says:

I quoted this and addressed it in my very first part of my reply...stating the developers do not understand how pvp works is imo fallacious at best. My point was they understand the mechanics of pvp, but there is no financial reason for them to re-visit pvp in this game on a large scale.

Well I have been trying to get this with a friend - we have made several attempts together. Originally he was going to be able to do this but some IRL stuff came up...so he won't. Gonna hold off on doing it since he and I have been trying to do this badge together for a few weeks lol.

Pre-I13 wasn't this Golden Age that people seem to make it out to be. It didn't have the problems of Post 13 PvP, but it did have it's own batch of suck.
People tend to forget that the changes to pvp came about because MANY changes were asked for due to all the flaws with pre Issue 13 pvp. PVP has never been flawless in this game; and the pre i13 pvp is unduly glorified by some as a better form of pvp when truth be told...pvp has always been meh at best in this game. You would think after 3.5 years after the mechanic changes that people would have adapted already, but there are still a few people who just seem unable to adapt. -
Yes... I reported it on titan Forums they are aware that Sentinel s not exporting any powersets correctly that were released after Issue21.

If this were ever implemented I am sure it would be 1 person every 15 seconds - I fail to see how adding a functionality like this would lend itself to allowing people to send mass emails....it's simply a QOL issue at filling in the ONE name for the email.

Anyone who's played an FPS knows that's the only way to truly have workable PvP. Even in games like Team Fortress 2 where you have classes, each class has one specific advantage and one specific detriment to balance things out. And then you have equal teams. When they become imbalanced, there's a feature that switches a player to the opposite side to even things out again. Everyone has to be equal individually and each team has to be equal.
Problem is, almost no one wants that to happen in this game. People would have a fit if a Stalker and Tank had equal hit points and did equal damage, and people would further lament over their hero being forced to switch to villain and vice versa. I would happily play that way, but I doubt many others would.
All of which is why I say PvP doesn't fit MMOs unless the game was designed for it from Day One. -

You know what would get me to pvp?? A new feature... since I haven't stated it in the other threads------
If you or your teammates kill someone within 5 minutes of the last kill of that person your regen gets severely debuffed for 5 mins and you receive -10 rep. There needs to be a consequence for the ganking the same person over and over and over...maybe that would help with the griefing by people/teams on one person. Sitting here I am chuckling thinking... Person A's team kills Person B... Person A's team immediately does it again when Person B comes out of hosp... when Person B comes back out of hosp.. Person A's team is so severely debuffed that Person B whoops all their a$$esAnd if Person B doesn't get a chance to...the other players in the zone will
You see I can ignore the asinine comments of some of the vocal pvp kiddies...it's their actions that drive me away.
