Firing BABs is the begining of the 'Coming Storm'
-
I think MM secondary buffs should be special. make them last as long as there alive on your pets
-
Nah I don't like invasions already and that will be in the new TFs
-
Isn't consume just used to sap your foes endurance to you?
-
I think it depends on 'How much influence you got' I never tried illusion/rad but OH GOD the endurance situation must be hell. With Kin you get the nice DMG buffs for yourself, speed, recharge, great endurance, slight regen debuff, dmg debuff. On the other hand like already mentioned you can't buff the Phantom Army and Rad's debuffs help more in that way. In no way am I saying Illusion/Rad is worse I'm just stating that it would probably take more work then an Illusion/Kin.

Stealth IO and Steadfast +3% Def, -KB Proc would all work well
-
The Enrinche one would have to be diet. As quoted from the game Enriche is "Delicious. Filling. Low in calorie"

Reading this thread got me more in touch with the CoH lore, thanks guys

Quote:Haha yes I got character OCD as well. I have made 1 of each type of hero AT at the Hero Alignment, one of each origin and set up only by Heroes. Then page 2 I got one of each villain AT at at Vigilante Alignment, also there all each one of the 5 origins.Set up each of your rows of character slots to house villain-only, hero-only, and Vigilante/Rogue-only characters?
When Going Rogue was released, I originally had my first row of character slots for Villains/Rogues, second row for Heroes/Vigilantes, and third row for Praetorians. But, I've noticed I have more full-time Vigilantes/Rogues that I dedicated an entire character row to them. Of course, Praetorians fit into my Vigilante/Rogue row until they hit level 20 and I decide on which path they take.
So, anyone else as crazy as me?

Quote:Yeah i think at lvl 10 the NPCs almost go threw like a 'super puberty' they seem to gain better control of there powers there tougher and got more attacks. My #1 example is the Mook Hitman. All the mook has 1-9 is a pistol then he gets a sniper rifle once he dings to 10.10 and 11 have been pretty miserable on the two Praetorians I've leveled that high. Yes, those two specific levels. Not sure why, but everything was fine at 9, then boom, crazy impossible difficulty where I'm dying multiple times on the same mission. Then level 12 came and I got "DOs" (actually level 15 IOs) and, in the case of my Electric Control Dom, unlocked the ridiculous Static Field. It didn't go quite as badly on my Brute as my Dom, but it did seem like enemies got more powerful more quickly than my characters.
In general though, pre-20 has always been frustrating for me. Constant misses, never enough endurance. The second problem will be alleviated somewhat next issue, though. -
Quote:How the heck does Hurdle and Swift destroy concepts? A hero is athletic oh it ruins me!!Well, I'm back after another hiatus, and I return to find that the Fitness pool is going to be made inherent.
Now, I'm sure my usual detractors will think me delighted with this, but I'm afraid I'm not. I'll explain why.
As I've said elsewhere, Endurance management is far too onerous. It undermines the enjoyment of the game. It's most noticeable at lower level, prior to Stamina, but it doesn't exist ONLY there. Part of the reason for this is that the ATs and Power Sets are not balanced for endurance use. As an example, consider the Defender and Blaster power sets for Energy Blast. The Defender version does less damage, but uses the same endurance. Certain ATs suffer more than others for this (eg. Tankers and Defenders).
However, their method of dealing with the problem is far from ideal.
First, it does nothing for characters that have Stamina anyway. That is, higher level characters that suffer endurance issues despite Stamina will see no difference in their play.
Second, it does nothing to address the disparity between ATs and Power Sets.
Third, it forces Hurdle and Swift on people. Since these are Autopowers, we can't turn them off, even if they're inappropriate to our character concepts.
All this does is help lower level characters with endurance issues. As I say, it's a laudable goal, but it's not the right way to go about it. What they should have done, and it would be a half measure as well, in my estimation, is simply raise the global recovery rate. That is, EVERYONE would recover endurance faster. Those with Stamina at L20 would recover it EVEN FASTER than that, perhaps to the point of not needing to worry about endurance unless faced with sappers or very long fights.
It hasn't gone live yet, but I hope they'll reconsider this. -
Quote:Make them smaller?!?!?! What are you thinking??!?!?!Ok, so weird topic, but 9 times out of 10 when I make a female character I select "Athletic" then leave her at that. I don't increase the Chest slider, but I don't decrease it either.
So, a RL female friend who plays the game is constantly riding me about how HUGE all my characters "boobs" are to the point that usually it ends in me telling her to F off.
So, the reason for this topic is to get the opinion of other players, male and female, on whether the default settings are too big or what?
Should I pay more attention to my characters breast size than I do? Make them smaller, because that's "more realistic" or what? -
I just had an idea. We should be able to add NPCs to SG bases. I think it would just be cool to make your SG base look more lively and functioning not just a den of technology or archaic stuff that is just there. Things like a Nurse in place for the Auto-Doc, or just random details for decorative rooms like a Bartender and such. So what do you guys think about this idea?
-
Well since your paring with SS I would say WP. This is because SS with rage crash can get end heavy and WP has an endurance edge with good old quick recovery.
-
I don't know about Praetorian Day Jobs, your job is Powers Divisions and you enforce the government the peasants do everything else in Praetorian Culture.

It depends on the situation. If your battling an AV with have AoE cones that slap the crap out of you, stay at range. On the other hand if your doing more normal stuff blapp like crazy

Quote:Lmao, I'm sure you'll get it down eventually. This is why I'm afraid of trying that Claws/DA brute. I have an SS/WP. He's level 34. He has tough and weave. He dies. All. The. Time.
I know the problem isn't the sets. The problem is me. I just can't brute!
But I will learn. Oh will I learn. And my claws/DA will rip faces off of anything he pleases. -
Yeah i hate the look of DA that's why i never made one

I'm certainly down for another CoP, I will be bringing my tanker. If you didn't notice the signature this is @ParagonBrawler

Quote:Hooray to Fallout!I figured it'd be a good time to introduce a few ideas on new Power Pool abilities, that is, the suggestion to add a fifth one. I know some other people have made similar suggestions, but here's mine.
Medicine
Stimpack - Click, Single-Target Ally, Heals 100% of health, after 10-15 seconds, deals 50% damage. An emergency power to use on someone about to die. -
I was just thinking 'You know whats really anoying, missing a bank mission badge then having to get on a team with that bank to get the badge' .So I'm thinking add Safeguard Missions to Ouroboros H-Side and Mayhem Missions to Ouroboros V-Side would be a good idea
