  1. I'm perfectly fine with IOs being availible in the Paragon Market for real cash.
Now they need to do like Diablo III and institute a Real Money Auction House, so I can start selling all the rare drops I get to cover my subscription.
  2. I'll add myself to the list of folks who got stuff early- billing date is the 21st, got PPoints, Reward Token, and Server Transfer earlier this week.

Man, if only I could spend my Reward Token on more PPoints... I'm Tier9 and have the Celestial set unlocked already, the current crop of consumables dont interest me.

    Fairly simple.
Account Items are awarded to every Character
Character Items can be claimed once per Account

    Seems backwards.

When the game was launched, there were NO respecs- and we liked it that way.
Eventually, they added the Respec trials, but initially they were really challenging- enough so that people questioned how a character that needed a respec was supposed to be able to complete them.

Personally, I'm in the camp of "How can a person possibly use all these Respecs?" The most ive ever used on a single character is like 4 on my main, and that was 1 to drop Instant Healing when it got nerfed, Once when I got to 50 and re-allocated some slots due to more efficeint slotting with IOs, Once when they gave us Inherent Fitness, and once a long time ago just because I was about to have to replace all my Enhancements and a new issue was coming out that week, which meant a new freespec.

To the OP, I have to ask, how many characters do you play? at this point, theres 15 servers to choose form, with at least 12 slots on each server. Instead of obsessing over being able to change your characters build every other day to be the "Perfect Build" of the Week, why not just make another character? play around with different builds, powersets, even ATs.

Ok, but in all seriousness, maybe you should check out the anime Durarara- it's airing right now on Cartoon Network saturday nights. One fo the main characters (theres a lot of characters) is mute, and spends good deal of time texting to communicate with others.
  7. Well, not quite that level of dedication, my main character is 50 on Champion, 35 on Virtue, 30 on Triumph, and 10-20 on several other servers

As the first in the series, it must be judged harshly. This is the "Pilot Episode" for the Signature Story Arcs. This is the one that needs to make a great impression. If people aren't blown away by it, they may never see the other installments due to lack of interest.
  9. The 'ear caps' from the Cyborg set aren't an option on the new "Standard" head, I think they might have been a "Detail 3" on "Masks With Hair"?
  10. Im a little bummed I didnt get Heartbreaker, but then Iv ebeen Heart Breaker on Champion for 7 years now, so I'll live with it. What I found funny was, I was emailing my roomie who was at work, and reseved a bunch of names for him- I think I got 7 or 8 out of 9 or 10 names I tried for him- while my luck on my own account was more 50-50.
  11. Yeah, I been using the heck out of 'em since GR. I almost always put the chance for knockdown in Brawl, and the other four in my first two attacks, making sure to split the Chance for Psi and Chance for NRG.

Unless I'm a Mastermind, and then they all go in my first tier pets- which is hilarious when more than one triggers. I kinda wish there was a chance for Fire one instead of one of the Smash / Lethal ones

and Sam, it's only the proc that goes away, they still give +16% to each Dmg and Rech all the way to 50, so theres really no need to replace them anytime soon.
  12. I loves me the Rocket Board! Sure, at higher levels, the detoggling can be a nuisance, but by then Ive got plenty of travel options. Rocket Board really helps speed up the 10-20 game when all the un-enhanced old contacts want to send me to the ***-end of nowhere. Plus, I love that its not subject to travel suppression- if things look bad, I can hop on it and streak away at faster-than-lvl50-Fly-speed immediately. Sure, it means I have to be a bit more careful with my landing spots, but so far, I havent been put in any danger because of it, anfd its actually pulled me out of the fire a few times.

Heh. Ive never doen that, but I did do the opposite once, and accidentally put Self Destruct right next to Rest...
  14. Also consider that the lvl 50 market is depressed due to a glut of people doing Incarnate stuff and just throwing all the common stuff on the market for 100 or so.

I like the current hair, it's short which would keep it out of the way when working on experiments- and it's reminiscent of Irina Spalko from Crystal Skull. As a techie type, I might reccoment using the goggles or one of the techier visors instead of the shades.

I don't like the two helmeted heads you have there, as they look a bit too 5th columnish, which doesnt really fit my perception of "looking good", although our perceptions may vary on that.

Another weapon option to consider would be the Tech War Mace.

Unfortunately, not all of us are in a single-player SG. One of my SGs has between 12-20 players who use the base, so I can't always count on thier being space to unload salvage or enhancements that I might want later on.

We already have a decent amount of storage availible to us, its not like we wouldnt know what were getting into if we bought more storage- theres really no reason we'd need "just a taste". We're getting 400PP a month, so there's our disocunt on buying these things.
  17. While I agree that all the prices are a bit hight, Enhancement Trays and Auction Slots are practically an auto-buy for me. Recipe and Salvage storage would be nice, depending on final prices. I have to agree that for most people the Vault slots are truly the least valuable, but I'm getting /Vault in about 10 days now, so for me its just more Salvage storage- still, I have to question why it costs twice as much and is limited to a total of +30 slots, as opposed to +100 on-person salvage (if I'm reading you correctly).
I'm not likely to blow a bunch of cash on anything immediately, but all of thse would me invaluable when going for Field Crafter, as I tend to do. Not to mention how useful theyd be to a character in Praetoria who lacks access to a SG Base for storage purposes (thankfully, I'll never have to start in Praetoria again once Freedom launches)

If I'm reading you correctly, this is whats availible?
    Enhancement Trays: Max +20
    Salvage: Max +100
    Recipes: Max +30
    Vault: Max +30
    Auction House (5 extra) - 800 points/$10, Max +30
  18. Nice layout, Photon.

I actually once wrote the Stikfas guys about wether I could purchase one of the gun sprues, having a half dozen or so other Stikfas, I wasnt very interested in getting another body, but could use the weapons- the answer was no- I couldn't buy extra sprues... they sent me like 3 for free!

I still need to pick up the dome walker one of these days...
  19. I had a buddy on the October Toys forum offer to make me a custom Stikfas. It was a little out of the blue, so it took me a while to think of something that I'd want (and he also stipulated that it had to be something he hadnt done before). Eventually, I decided to go for the gold, and sent him some shots of a Fake Nemesis. This came in the mail today:

I gotta say, I'm pretty blown away.

I think this is the straightest post GG has ever made. and I agree with it.

I'm a guy, but I play a lot of female characters. Ive only had a few people get obnoxious with flirting, most people back off when I tell them I'm cross-dressing, but if that doesnt deter them, I find that casually mentioning that I'm going as Jack in Irons for Halloween IRL usually does the trick.

Ah, like I said, it was pretty late for me, so I did not notice the other repeats on the chart, but now I see what you did there.

  23. I suppose its not terribly relevant, as Tier 9 / Tier 9 VIP are actually the same tier and don't need to be purchased in any particular order, but am I the only person seeing "96 Months" twice on your chart? (pardon, its really early / late for me. completely off topic: Captain America ROCKS!)

    Edit:
Devs and Community Reps, please note that the above website is wrong in terms of MERIT REWARDS.

The 60 month Vet Reward has +5 merits and the 72 Month Vet Reward has +6 Merits, for a total of 11 merits prior to Paragon Rewards, not 5 as stated.
84 Months also comes with 7 more Merits, for a total of 18 availible PER CHARACTER.
This is the main aspect I fear from these changes, that things we get as Veteran Rewards on a Per Character basis will now become Per Account.

Also not a big fan of the lack of ability to skip unwanted rewards.
