What I really want to do, with this particular character, is switch back-and-forth at least five times to get the badge, but I have no idea how to proceed.

I checked out a couple of other "switching" threads, but I couldn't find an answer (other than "talk to Provost Marchand", which I don't know how to do, because I've never been Loyalist and he's in the Lounge).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Ok If you Chose Loyalist you get two type of Story Arc Chains to work form- Power for those whole only want power and responsibility Arc for The hero in you. Chose one of these and stick with them in Each of the major Zones you get 3 Mortality Mission, that give you a choice should I stay loyalist or Should I join up with the Resistance. These are the same with the Warden and Crusader Arc and Calvin Scott will be your Contact and Contact them. The Crusaders will be underground, you got to go there for all your mission and Wardens are like Normal Contact, they Scattered out in the top Zones.

Make sure you stick to all your contacts, once there main Arc is done, you might get more mission that will
    change your fate in Pretoria.

Once your turn four you get you first chain Story Arcs, if you are lvl 3 or younger then go team or hunt for lvl's, try sticking to Preator White Arc until you, lvl 4 if you can.

I've read quite a few posts here but I'm still not quite sure what would be the most survivable solo scrapper. If I could get some advice I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.
Kind of Like Will Power and Regen type of Scrappers, Regen can heal up form any big Wounds and got alot of recovery to there rate.

Will Power got less Healing more Defense's and resists, got my Will power all Sloted out and nothing can kill him, he is a beast.

I go with Fiery Melee, it's easy to Control, not bad on end and Does good Dot and has Heavy Damage.

Spines are nice a little bit more AoE and Toxic Damage

Broad Sword is great on Damage

Martial Arts is fun and enjoyable moves, with fair damage

Energy Melee is really Awesome on Damage, but not greatest on End, it's can be heavy.

Welcome to the Scrapper Club Btw.

Then you have the costume missions Hero-side, where at 20 you're likely to get 10 Tsoo thrown at you...and at 30 you get like *two* Crey. I still haven't decided if it's bugged or if someone was having a laugh and did it on purpose.
These type Ambush's also Show up in the New Preatorian Zones to,I think the Damage out put should be weaken a bit.

Although I've been playing this game since the beginning, I've never spent much time on the villain side. I just recently upgraded my computer and I've found that part of the reason I must have avoided it was because of all the geometry and the low frame rate on my old box.

I'm finding it a lot of fun discovering all these "new" (5-year-old) zones, but the player dynamic is quite different from what I can tell. Very kind and helpful like blue side, just different.
No because Villain are lame like that, any how once Preatoria opens up to the lvl 50 toons, everyone be hang out over there, Hey Preatoria got alot of nice hang out spots.

Dr. Aeon here! Remember me? The brilliant scientist in Cap au Diable? Much more brilliant than that “Praetor Berry” in Praetoria. I mean, really, who is going to put their trust in a guy named Berry? I know I wouldn’t, but that’s just me making an informed decision.

Anyway, to the point! I’m here today to issue my Third ARCHITECT CHALLENGE! It’s been a long time coming, so I hope you’re all ready for this one!

The challenge is to write and design an arc revolving around heroes falling from grace or villains redeeming themselves.

The sky is the limit on this one, folks! As you can tell, the focus here is on GOING ROGUE, so feel free to rogue it up (or vigilante it up) as much as you want! Since I’m feeling generous, I’ll give you all one of Dr. Aeon’s patented hints. The story doesn’t necessarily need to have the hero falling all the way to villainy and vice versa, and it could even be the story focusing around the player’s own shift of alignments, similar to the Going Rogue system!

Now, down to the details, and I am a man who prides himself on knowing the details on things (ever since the accident). The contest starts NOW. When you think your arc is gritty, heroic, or plain good enough, send an e-mail to AECommunityContest@ncsoft.com with the following in the subject line: @Global Name – Arc ID – Arc Name. The final day for submissions will be on October 20th, 2010. You can only submit your own arcs, I am a man who does not respond to shy people! Though, I wouldn’t really know if I do, since shy people don’t try to speak with me.

Winners will be announced no later than Wednesday, November 3, 2010.

The grand prize winner will receive a Dev Choice for their arc and a permanent yellow title.

Sound good to everyone? Eh? This is much better than anything those stupid scientists in Praetoria could come up with, I’ll tell you that much. Anyway, good luck to everyone entering the contest!

Yeah Sigh, no one has a Code of Honor do they these days, I Pvp anyone if they ask me to, but I won't take on people who don't want to fight, there no fight there, no real battle Against Good and Evil and it doesn't feel right, wining a empty battle, Call me softy but That how I feel. I just think they should do Something to make Pve Feel Safe while traveling in a Zone like RV or Something, maybe open another zone like RV and just Set it as an Normal Hazard and let the pvper have there Pvp zones to themselves.

I don't no I thought these Ideas might balance things out or something.

That is True I agree with you on that, but I no to many people that will disagree with that.

Not everyone want that PVP Lust and I Seen games Do PVP/PVE right like that Fantasy MMO that seem to WOW people these days, I think they got a nice Flow with PVP and PVe, they kind of keep PVP and PVE alway form each other and that how it should be. you can't mix Yin- and Yang together or you going to get Choas.

Right now PVP and PVE aren't Balance and that seem to create choas, also I don't no how they could ruin Pvp System any more then they did. When was it, with Issue 13 coming out, Travel Suppression is a bitc....I mean Witch yeah Witch, Stealth on Stalkers don't work as good as they do now, you need to get the Stealth pool to make them more unseen. Arctypes aren't living up to what they should be.

Yeah I no, but come on give those guys a break, they are easy Prey, there no sport to it.

To bad you guys can't Pvp in Normal Zones also, it might spice thing up if there a way to pvp any where you want and also a way for a PVe Player not to be Assaulted by us. Like give us Total PVe Experience, with out Pvp encounters and a Total PVP Experience, Without those weak PVE Players Crying over Spill Milk and give us more Places to hunt for our Prey.

    ABSURD!
Depending on the Server, I guess, I was at Bloody Bay last night and trying to get Shivans last night and got assaulted by a killer Clone. Yes the guy was an Clown, dress in an Outfit and So I fought him off on My Fire/Energy Blaster and cream him and it came to me. That I didn't want to pvp, want my Shivans for a Raid, I just defended my self, but then Some people do alot of Badge Hunting, gathering Temp Powers and then RV a Joke for AV badges Hunting because people are just going to try and stop you and hunt you down and this can lead to fighting between the PVP Community and PVE Community. You do get conflict between the two Community's at times on Global Channels and RV Broadcast and really bugs me how Childishness people can be at times. I like to do both you no and I learn alot about how thing work When Pvping and when I am Pveing, If someone Destorying the pill box in RV for a badge and ask me not to kill them, I will respect that and not kill them. Not everyone is like me and they can be a real Griefer at times. I also believe PVPer hates PVe Stuff and Assault Players just because they aren't getting enough of the game pvp Experience to themselves. About what 80 percent of the game can be pve and they only get 10-20 percent of the game with pvp. I just feel like there should be a change to help the PVE Player and also help the PVe Player at the same time.
  11. I Have a Dream that all little Pvp Players and all the little Pve Players will one day get together and be friends..........Who am I kidding that never going to happen.

Why I tell you, Pvper will hunt anything in Pvp Zone, If you go for Nukes or Shivans you will will be attack.

If you go for Badges you will be hunting down and get it up the............ummm well you no what I mean.

AV Hunt in RV on a Server big on Pvp like Freedom will be Harass and Assaulted by Griefers

When these two group gets together there nothing but Drama and fighting, you can't reason with Pvpers, I should no because i am one.

What we got to do is Set things up some both can go together with out Harassing or any conflict, Badges Whores need there badges, Raid people need there Nukes and Shivan.

I Like to see like a system that either sets you up for pvp right alwayfor Pvp Zone or sets you up for Pve, so no one can kill each other any more, there been to much killing and to much blood has Spilled.

I don't no what type of System, Maybe a Flag system to flag you for Pvp, Once you enter, you be set up for pvp and if you want you can disable it so you can hunt for badges or a Queue System to join into Pvp, So there be no more Assault on each other.

Can't we all just get along.
  12. I be there, At the meet and greet.

Maybe you should have done more Story Arcs and cut back on teaming next time, I am sure once Preatoria opens up to the 50 cap toons you can go back and get these until then please be patience.

also note that these dates and expected times are entirely speculation and community guessing meaning that the devs haven't said anything concrete(except that the incarnate stuff will be over multiple issues) but the times for when these issues come out and what/how much incarnate stuff will be in them may and probably will change.
I disagree about it being like i15, we are also getting more Tip Mission, Alpha Taskforce, a Story Arc that unlock the Alpha Slot and Inherent Fitness Pool.

They took out Incarnate do to the Reason of not living up to the Fullish. They though they add on to it and brush it up a bit before sending it out. They already said it coming out when
i19 comes out and it be unlock by doing a Story Arc, then afterward it will unlock the Alpha Slot with the Alpha Task Force.

Welcome to the Forums, Yeah there not to many Animal Costume parts in this game, We keep asking and we never get them sigh, well they just gave us the wolf tail, so in time maybe.

Also, any chance of getting the Blue Steel Shield back?

According to Paragonwiki, it existed during the I13 closed beta, but was removed for unknown reasons. It is still in the game, as it can be used by critters in Architect.
This a good Example of Missing Weapons, When Shield where being tested on test Server, they Had the Blue Steel Shield Available, but by the time of launch of The Blue Steel Shield wasn't even Available. I Petition it and bug it and yet no does anything about it and get nothing but Garbage back, I think this Shield Still Shows up on The test Server, not Sure.

Now how to do it! First you need a saved costume that has the backpack off, preferably made on another character, or before you got the backpack. Then, on your Crab Spider, hit the tailor and load that costume, it should take the backpack OFF! Now you can edit the costume all you want, but if you put the backpack back on in the same session, you'll have to redo the above steps.

It won't even show up when you're attacking! Powers look a little weird, but at least you'll have some walking around clothes, and you won't be burdened by that cumbersome backpack anymore!
If you need any help with this, feel free to Tell me ingame, I'm usually on Grinning Wolf Spider.

(This can be done at anytime. As far as I know, there's no benefit or downside to this, other than aesthetics.)

EDIT: Changing zones WILL put the backpack back on.
won't work, the moment you load into the next Zone or Change to a Crab Spider Build, Boom it be back.
