Some Prea badge questions

The only way I can think of that you weren't able to get those badges was that you street-sweeped or teamed past all of the contacts through all three zones. Each zone had four different contacts to give you the option to switch sides (to earn the Loyalist badge) or to continue with being Resistance (to earn Moral High Ground).

If you're already level 23, you can't go back and get them on your own because you've outlevelled all story contacts, and you can't team with anyone to use their morality missions, either, since those are single player-only missions.

I think your only option at this point is to reroll and do it over again.

Denial of Service is easy -- just keeping heading into the Sonic Barriers until it pops.

I just thought of a more likely reason why none of the contacts offered you morality missions, assuming you had run through the regular story content. If you've outlevelled a contact, they will continue to give you their regular arc missions until you finish them. However, since the morality missions are considered separate one-off "story arcs," you won't be offered them if the contact is too low for you. Just turn off XP at levels 10, 15, and 20 to make sure you don't miss them.

If you don't plan to create another Praetorian alt, you might consider rerolling that char and running the content over again. This time, for variety, choose the Loyalist arcs mainly, while switching over to Resistance just once for the other badge. Ultimately it doesn't matter what alignment your character ends up because you can choose either Paragon City or the Rogue Isles when you leave.

That's true. So I suppose the question to ask yourself is if it's worth it to re-live that time now, or wait 3-4 months to find out exactly *how* a Primal Earth character will be able to get back to Praetoria in the first place, much less worrying about if that character will meet the critera when they are revealed.

If it were me, I'd just redo it now. The content and environment are interesting enough to make it worth replaying.

Actually, you need to turn XP off at 9, 14, and 19. I tried turning XP off at 10 on another character, and I never got any of the Morality Choice missions. The one I'm now playing, I turned it off at 9, and I got Celopatra, Reese, and Doctor Arvin to all give me a Morality Choice mission. Once I got all 3 of them to give me theirs, I turned XP back on. I ended up 3/5 on that badge before I even moved to Imperial City.

I wasn't able to finish testing it with my beta characters before it was shut down, but the impression I got was that the five times for Moral High Ground need to be in a row. I seem to remember that if you switched moralities at some point, the progression bar started over. If so, that could be a problem if you make the switch to closely to running out of Praetorian contacts. Any verification of that one way or another?

I had that happen to, but it was due to a patch not the moral choices (one of the rare cases I witnessed where credit was lost due to a patch *). The badge is for any choice.

* Though early bird credit resets often for me and I have to do new arcs from time to time to get global credit again.

Man the badger in me says wait for i19, but the impatient person says just get it done... XD So on my remake, Mind, or Electric Control? I pretty much do a little bit of everything, and got to have a confuse power in my primary.

Oh and my favorite element is Electricity.

You might have to disable XP at some points.

There is no "5 in a row" badge. The badge is for any 5 moral choices.

You could go L-R-R-R-L or L-L-L-L-L or R-R-R-R-R or R-L-R-L-R. The only thing that will not work is U-U-D-D-L-R-L-R-A-B.

Should I bug that then? Cause that badge has reset and now says only 1, when I clearly have made 3 choices?

Yes.

Edit:
When the badge was introduced, we were told that it was for any 5 moral choices. I suspect that one of the moral choices is resetting the count. What was the last moral choice you have done before the reset?

I did L, L, then R.

Quick we need some more factions that start with U, D, A, and B.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

I meant contact/arcs as well. With the list above, should be easy to try to repeat this.

Here's a different question -

I managed to run through to level 19 in short order, and have begun backtracking for the badges I can still get. (Alas, I forgot about the morality badges... oh well...)

One enemy group that I've basically seen none of on my trip are the Seers. There is a badge associated with them, so where is a good place to find Seers?

Aside from the few missions that have primarily Seers, there's not one best specific location to get them out in the wild. They're a somewhat transitory bunch, meaning that they only show up when they want to, and there's typically only one of them at a time when they do. If I had to nail it down to a general area, though, I'd suggest the red zones in Underground Imperial and Underground Neutropolis, or in the BAF.

Seers can be found on the rooftops of most buildings in all sections of Praetoria. Especially in Imperial City and Neutropolis.

Edit: Don't forget most buildings offer a stairwell access to the rooftops.
