I *should* be able to make it today but there's a lot of stuff happening at the moment so there's a slight possibility that I won't make it, just want to give a heads up.

I really hope I can show up, even if it's not a tournament any sort of pvp would be really fun

Playing on a dual pistol/pain domination corruptor, and I noticed that sometimes Nullify Pain would occasionally root me which I found odd since it had never rooted me before.

After some investigation on my part I've managed to reliably reproduce the rooting effect.
I've found that this occurs when all of the following circumstances are met:

-Hover is running
-Soothing Aura is running
-User has been moving either directly forward or directly backwards with hover on
-Nullify Pain is activated after the user has already been moving for a few seconds

I think it's important to note that the power will only root if you are moving forward or backwards in a strait line (no turning). It also doesn't occur if Fly is on instead of Hover, so I suspect it has something to do with Hovers' unique forward/backward animations. It works best if you do it in a clear area (I was testing this out in a mission and I found that bumping into objects would keep the rooting from happening)

I think that should be enough information to reproduce it.

Don't know if this really relates to lore, but what are the grammatical rules that the Rikti adhere to? It's kind of hard to include Rikti speech into AE plots when you don't know for sure if the line you wrote for them is in actuality how the Rikti would say it.

WOAH! I got one of these for $100 at a Best Buy, I saved like $60!

This is the way I would do it-
* 1 flag capture the flag *
- 1 Glowie on in middle of the map, 2 goal points on opposite sides
- Flag is like the warburg codes/bloody bay meteor shards
-instant pickup-5 second pickup
- Flag carrier has stealth suppression, movement suppression (think ouroboros), -tp, cage suppression
- Whoever kills the flag carrier gets the flag
- Waypoint to flag carrier

2 flag CTF's and other multiflag variations could easily be adapted off of that.

So.....is demo-editting against the rules?

You heard it here first, we're not getting just issue 12 next, but they're also launching issues 13-a bajillion all at once!!

Not to mention that these things probably go too slow to be within buff range during a pvp fight, where (most of the time) everyone's jumping and running around everywhere.

I used to use timecards to pay for the game, but this one time when I bought one, it turned out that it had already been opened, with the silver part clearly scratched out, hoping that maybe the culprit didn't enter the code due to a last minute change of heart, I entered the code to reactivate my account, but it obviously didnt work

Lucky for me, the store I bought it from replaced it free of charge. I was surprised that they did, since there was no way for them of knowing if I actually used it or not. Needless to say, I use credit cards now...

meh, I WAS gonna spend 2 weeks making the comic the best I could....but the problems I had with my copy of that comic creator thing-

A. No text, thats right, I wasnt able to write anything, spent a good 3 hours trying to fix it, I finnaly did, and began work.

B. Saving work is pretty much useless, allow me to elaborate, whenever I save my work, and load it again, it only loads the template for the page, and maybe the text if Im lucky, all the pictures I put in dissapear.

C. The most disruptive problem I would say would be the fact that I could only make my comic one page long, as errors would ensue whenever I tried to add another page. So even if I did spend 2 weeks doing a comic, It would only be a cover page long

You know whats funny? I saw Ex Libris in Atlas Park a little while before it was held on Liberty server. I told myself its just someone trying to pass themselves off as a mod and refrained from screaming out "DEV!"
I only realized that she was the real Ex, when the admin message popped up....

Funny thing is I almost reported her to the GM's for trying to pass off as an NC soft employee, but figured someone else would....woulda been funny though

I don't know if this will work but...you could try copying the comic over to Microsoft Word and use the AutoShape tool, though I'm not 100% sure if it will work.
It's best that you test this before making the comic though...

In the meantime, use the hyper phase suit from warburg to leave the your base.
It wont completely solve the problem but it is (dare I say it) a temporary solution

I did hear somewhere that the devs are going to put sally ports in all the other pvp zones, just like in RV, in the next issue or something
