Basically as the title implies, I'm trying to look into getting a computer art Tablet, those little pads you can draw on and will show up on the computer. Well I've done some looking around, and what normaly comes up is wacom. Well problem is I live in canada so ordering one is impossible.

My question is, does anyone know where I could maybe get one, what sort of tablet they'd recommend and, well maybe something not too expensive? I just want to use it mostly for drawing and colouring and such, so if any of you have any advice what so ever I would greatly appriciate it.

are you able to order one from Amazon.com? Or do they not deliver to Canada?

But Wacom is the top of the line. I guess the new line is called Bamboo, but if you can get an old Graphire 4x5 or 6x9 you would probably be pretty happy with it, and they are relatively cheap in comparison to the other Wacom products (like Intuos).

I tried Amazon but couldnt find any products. And yeah, I was looking at the Bamboo Fun ones, which are like, exactly what I want :3 but sadly they only ship to places in the states... at least that's what it looks like after a bit of looking around.

What part of Canada are you in? Cause I got an old Bamboo bought just last year, and we only used it for about 4 months before switch to larger wacoms. Let me know by pm, and we can work out the details if you want it.

Trudat. They have different stock for some reason, though!

I bought my Intuos3 from NewEgg.com

I don't know if the ship to Canada but they are very reliable for price and customer service.

Once you get your pad, (look into the resolutions available before buying) You'll find that there is a bit of a difficult learning curve.

FORCE yourself to do several projects on it. Maybe draw something over and over.
It's frustrating at first but once you adapt it is awesome. look for online tutorials.

I bought mine and I set it a side when I realized how hard it was to get used to.
Then I landed a comic job and inked a couple issues with it and now I love it.
