I tried the window scale and don't like it. The text inside the downsized window doesn't smooth properly and looks strange even if you increase the font size.
I'm trying to adjust to not being able to fit as much between chat and power bars but I would much prefer being able to resize the chat window back to any size I want.
If it is a problem with the horizontal league window there is already a fix for that - it auto-undocks when it is going to be wider than the chat window. So if I resize my chat box down "too small" it should just do that. -
I can imagine what some of those "several things" might be but it is definitely a beautiful piece.

You were able to get out of range given the warning? I'm shocked and saddened that I'm so slow. It seemed to me that the warning and the power were so close to simultaneous that it was useless except as a pointer to who was causing it.
But wait... you said you got stunned so you didn't get out of range at least once.
After the second time my dominator stayed at range... must resist urge to use hotfeet... -
Quote:Oh man yes! I have to put a pair of paperback books under mine to get a suitable angle. The only problem I have with Logitech keyboards are their ridiculously little standoffs to incline the keyboard. There's almost no difference between a flat lay and the feet up. Maybe 5 degrees. If that.
My favorite part is the display. I keep it on the Countdown/Stopwatch and use them in game to know when to re-buff with the countdown or to keep track of spawn intervals with the stopwatch (like in the final STF mission). -
Ran this last night and loved every minute of it except...
*** SPOILER ALERT ***
Montague's special power warning isn't really a warning. It basically goes off as he activates his 0.5 sec activation time mega-stun. What's up with that? Is it a bug? Is it WAI? Does it come in time for anyone else to get out of the way and I'm just a slow old man?
I can only assume it is so we know which SOB to put on the ground first.
I did love the strike force and I can forsee our villain group doing it often in the future. -
I have one of them (not sure exactly) but it has 2 rows of G keys right next to the keyboard on the left. Since I touch-type I was constantly hitting one of them instead of Tab, shift, and control. I eventually had to program them to emulate the key they were sitting next to so I didn't have to worry about it.
The only one I still have programmed differently is the one next to the escape key which I use to target nearest. Since I had gotten in the habit on my old keyboard of pressing Escape + tab to target nearest my fingers were already trained to hit that general vicinity and all I had to do was retrain them not to hit tab immediately afterwards. -
The ~15% increase on all the resistance powers across the entire character is pretty cool. It plus the endurance from Cardiac on my dark tank was a pretty phenomenal change from just being a "plain" level 50. But then, I don't do a lot of heavy IO-slotting either so maybe my experience is limited.
Also, that's just the ALPHA incarnate power. You are still a baby incarnate at this point, not a Statesman... yet. -
I wonder if pre-formed league leaders should leave one or two slots open each time to give LFG players a chance to get in on the fun.

Unbelievably cool! Grats to you and kudos to Attache.

Quote:Really? *sigh*empowerment station powers are disabled, but their timers continue to run
I guess I suspected that so I never tried it. I also didn't want to accidentally still be in my SG base when the leader put us in the queue. Still... a disappointing revelation.
Do the Safeguard/Mayhem temps work? I didn't have an active one going into the trials so I'm not sure. I really, really missed my raptor pack for the guns in Lambda but I eventually got the hang of teleporting from gun to gun without overshooting (it takes me 2 ports each except at the corners). -
Quote:Only if you get the rare and very rare reward tables and/or can run the trials every day. At least with the alpha there was an absolutely fool-proof way to get a Notice and it wasn't terribly difficult.Unlocking the slots takes longer than Alpha, but once that is done everything else is much, much easier.
Granted, I haven't had a problem getting rare rewards on my 2 incarnates I've done so far but I've heard lots of stories of other people who have given up and are grinding the E-merits needed to craft them.
I asked about the original topic of my SG the other night, where most of them have T4's and T3's in all 5 incarnate slots whereas I have T2's and T3's in three slots. They said "no prob, we'll put together an 8 man lambda and escort the baby incarnates through it to help them"... which warmed my heart but I wonder what kind of reward tables the "baby" will qualify for. Not terribly worried about it but it's something to make you go "hmmmm". -
I love when you post something new because they are always outstanding. I really love that latest one. Thanks for sharing!

What about sleep powers? Can't most of those be slotted for damage? I guess if you have one of those you should stay away from Reactive if you want your sleep to actually work?

I didn't say I was being rational. LOL
But I had 1 shard to go almost all day Sunday to slot my tier 3 Alpha. I don't know what it would have cost to make it with threads but I think I made the right choice to save the threads and components for my Judgement/Lore Tier 3's and then go out and join a team to get that last shard for my Alpha (having fun with my new Seers and Cryo cone while I was at it).
Now for my 50 on Protector, I may very well try to finish her Alpha using threads. It is a lot easier to get in on a trial right now than the various TF's and solo hasn't been cutting it. I don't remember the last time that one found a shard - stuck at 10 and hovering. I'm thinking I'll be better off to convert those to threads and do it that way. -
Maybe because it takes a lot more threads to build the same alpha slot than it does with shards? If I could convert 12 threads into shards and create a new tier 1 I'd do it in a heartbeat... spend 60 threads to build the appropriate commons - not so much.
For me right now, threads may be easier to get than shards but a factor of 5 seems a little steep of a cost. At least for now and especially since I only run a couple of trials at a time and still mostly do "normal" content. -
I convert all mine. They really speed up the process by a lot and reduce the number of times I have to run the trials. They are fun, but not THAT fun.

It's always been good to me *knocks on wood* with both my tanker and my controller. I've gotten 3 rare tables, 2 of those on my controller who also got a very rare. My tanker seemed to mostly get commons and my controller seemed to mostly get uncommons (in fact, I don't think the controller got the common table ever despite me hoping for one).
But then my controller must have sacrificed something or someone very valuable to the RNG gods because she was extremely lucky the last 4 days. In addition to the 2 rare and the very rare rewards, she picked up 2 good purple recipes, 2 respec recipes, a LotG +recharge recipe, and was 1 shard short of going from a tier 1 alpha to tier 3 in a single ITF... and she picked that 1 shard up in the very next mission she teamed up for. Yep, a very good long weekend for me. -
No, you have to have an active account through today. It says they'll be awarded on or before the 28th. Unless there was some announcement to the contrary since the second one.

Gravitic Radial Flawless Interface: 75% -rech, 75% -secondary effect, 50% -recov
What the heck is "-Secondary"? -

That power doesn't pulse for me and I don't remember it ever pulsing. The only thing I did with power customization was to set the no Fade on for the cloak (stealth +def) power so I could see my character all the time.
I have noticed on some powers (talking more than just DA here) that the particle count has to be a certain level before they look right. I know some of the fire armors appeared to pulse when I had mine set to minimum and it got a lot better when I raised it back to normal. Something similar maybe?
Or maybe it's supposed to and I just don't see it. A definite possibility for me. -
Can you give them to a pet like you can normal inspirations? nvm - this was answered above. Read failure on my part.
What kind of super inspirations are there? Obviously a level shift. Is that the only one? -
It seems very random to me but I've only run the trials 7 times all on my tanker. I got one rare, one uncommon, and the other 5 commons. One time I got an uncommon dropped on me randomly during the mission.

Is it possible, short of the entire team exiting, to reset a TF mission to, say, reset the difficulty?
I somehow ended up with the star on a TF and I had forgotten my diff was set to +2. I felt terrible as we slogged through a defeat all in an already too long TF but I didn't know of a way to reset it. -
I am SO making those macros! LOL
