Resetting a TF Mission?

Is it possible, short of the entire team exiting, to reset a TF mission to, say, reset the difficulty?

I somehow ended up with the star on a TF and I had forgotten my diff was set to +2. I felt terrible as we slogged through a defeat all in an already too long TF but I didn't know of a way to reset it.

The only way, I believe, is to have everyone log out long enough for the mission state to be dropped by the servers.

Nope. The only way to reset a TF mission is to have the entire team logged out at the same time.
Sometimes it even gets too stubborn and refuses to reset until you change the TF lead..but that's just a random occurance.
This "the entire team log out" is also the solution to when the a TF missions keeps repeating without going to the next one.

P.S.: I do that all the time...since I farm on my blaster who is also my main TFer, I've often accidentally started TFs at +4 difficulty. Even more hilarious when it's a small team TF (say, Posi or Synapse) and I"m still set to *8 on top of +4. So often that most of my friends have made a habit of reminding me to check my difficulty before starting a TF.

Sort of. The entire team would have to exit the mission for at least 15 min. I think you may also have to exit the zone where the mish door is but Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong there.
