What you said, and for me a respec is usually the kiss of death for a character that's about to be stripped of goodies and have the leftovers sold to twink out my next experiment.
Recycling is good, right? -
Those are great suggestions for additions to the team search window, but wouldn't the idea of removing players already on teams contradict the "team LFM" function? Perhaps only the team leader would show up in the search window, with the other members hidden.
Anyway, I'd like to throw in one more: add an indicator to show the team leader. That way, even if the "team LFM" never comes into play, would-be teammates could know who to ask when they want to join. -
Blueside: Dynamova - Belarusian Electric/Electric blaster
Redside: Devilheart - Ice/Icy dominator, lucky recipient of a heart transplant from a Hellfrost demon. -
Howdy. Quick question here. If you were planning on creating a human/dwarf build for either PB or WS, would you take the Nova form to help along the road to level 20 and then abandon it via respec or dual-build later?
Just curious, and thanks in advance for any replies. -

Ohhhh? I think I only had one thread I started locked... because I asked Mod08 to do so. It got outta hand in that one.

I was kidding. Lighten up. -

Neat, a redname posted in my thread. I think that makes three times that has happened now.

Give yourself more credit. The mods have smacked your threads WAY more than three times
Anyway, for both heroes and villains, I'm going with the Faultline NPCs. Fusionette, Jim Temblor and Arbiter Sands come along early in your career and stay until near the end. Now that makes me feel like my characters are part of the story. -
For a targeted AoE effect, I believe the game will make to hit checks on the first enemy you target and the remaining eligible targets closest to the original. I'm not sure how it works for PBAoE attacks that don't require you to target an enemy to launch the attack, but I suspect the AI will just pick the mobs closest to you.

Now my question, why don't stalkers have Fire Melee, I mean Scrappers got it.

Because the DoT damage from fire would screw up Placate or Hide? -
1. Yes, 3 END reducers and 3 confuse enhancers are good standard slotting for Arctic Air, although you can mess with procs if you feel like it. Also, AA is definitely worth it for as damage mitigation and soft control. Enemies will attempt to run out of the AA effect (v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y), and every so often, they'll take a shot at one of their buddies instead of you, thereby wasting an attack that will also take forever to recharge. AA is auto-hit, too.
2. Yes, knocking down a mob will wake it up.
Good luck. -
You wanna hear something really weird? I got access to the Cyborg and Valkyrie boosters without purchasing them. Yes, I notified customer service, and I haven't used any of the booster features. Still, that sort of thing makes me nervous.
-
What would also be ironic and make me laugh my bloody head off would be if this whole forum drama had been carefully staged from the beginning. Roleplaying, right?
I don't think that's the case, though, and I'm not going to throw any more gasoline toward the embers here. -
Yeah the AE building in the RWZ sticks out like a sore thumb. However, I enjoy knocking the NPCs toward the Vanguard HVAS "bouncers" and watching the fun.
Also, doesn't one of the MA badges allow you to access the mission creator from any location?
If I were to relocate the AE buildings, heroside would be Galaxy, Talos, Founders and Peregrine. Redside would be Port Oakes (Mercy is too depressed), Cap, Nerva and St. Martial (tourist trap).
I think putting an AE hub in Pocket D would be a great idea as well. -

Come to think of it....I haven't seen an Ice tank in a long time....

It's summer (at least in North America). They all melted -
Two pieces from either the Stupefy or Razzle Dazzle IO sets will give you a recovery bonus (2.5% and 2%, respectively), and they could fit into your melee attacks.
-
Sort of: never slot any accuracy enhancements. Powers that miss can't knock back. Of course they can't do anything else, either.
Seriously, though, Aggelakis was correct. -
DM/ElA is going to be my next brute as well. The recharge boost from Lightning Reflexes should allow you to buzzsaw through tough targets while Lightning Field works over the peons.
Plus, you'll be the Rikti's worst nightmare. -

What's DW? Double Whoopass?
Anyway, I can bring Dynamova 35 Elec/Elec Blaster. -

Deathsurge spawns in Cap au Diable after 100 Gremlins are defeated.
Caleb spawns on Thorn Isle in Nerva Archipelago if 100 Nerva Spectral Demons are defeated during daylight hours in game. Caleb spawns after sundown, but he flies and is hard to catch.
The Arachnos Flyer is also hard to catch and is only vulnerable when it's near the ground with its shields off.
Personally, I find it fun to go monster hunting sometimes, but the ones with triggered spawns can get grindy. -
This link is a guide for Sonic/Sonic defenders (yeah, yeah heroes... boo... hiss) that should provide some help for you. Just remember that corruptors get the blast powers before the buff and debuff ones, and their buffs and debuffs are a little weaker.
I can't offer a build, but here are a few strategy suggestions. Sonic Resonance does best on teams, especially if you have a melee fighter to anchor Sonic Disruption. The Sonic Dispersion bubble provides you with some mez protection, and the only other corruptor secondary to do so is Traps.
For soloing, Siren's Song is your best friend. Put a group of enemies to sleep and start picking them off one by one.
Good luck! -
Something that may be related happened to my account, and I've notified customer service about it. Basically, it appears I got the Cyborg and Valkyrie boosters applied without purchasing them. The booster powers and costume bits are available for any character, but there aren't any charges on my statement.
Weird, huh? To be safe, I haven't used any of these features, except to look at the costume pieces in the character creation window, but it does make me nervous. -
Godwinned at eight pages. Not too bad.

First of all, Mercy Island is a sewer, but just run the arcs from your introductory contacts and you should be fine.

My favorite defender is also my only one, so I guess it's a win by default. However, it's also the second character I ever created and still gets regular play.
That being said, I dig Sonic/Sonic because I like turning the enemy into butter and my team into a hot knife.
