    The Walking Dead

I'm on duty with not a single TV near me. Luckily my phone has teh interwebz.

So looking forward to this, I watched the whole first season a cpl days ago on Netflix cause I knew season 2 was coming up.
  2. Sorry, I had planned on answering sooner, but had quite a few family emergencies happen within 2 weeks of each other.

As far as attack chains, the second post in this thread details a decent chain. Personally, I skip fire sword, but GFS hits like a mac truck.

The reason most people skip unstoppable is that in the day and age of IO's, a inv brute can reach the softcap with only 1 foe in range of it's aura. Of course by now you've probably alreadt figured ths out.

    P.S.
I read your guide long ago. Funny stuff.

    The Crow

    Dark City
  4. I was hoping for video.

On the bright side, sounds awesome.
  5. There was a star trek animated series???
  6. Just got back into town after a crappy couple of weeks. Will do my best to make it to this tonight.
  7. Thx Eji, I am feeling better. Unfortunately, there has been a death in the family, so I will beout of town for awhile and won't have much of anything to add to this discussion for awhile.
  8. I guess the part I disagree with is the fact that it isn't necessarily the wrong type of def. It still gives 1.88% of S/L, allowing you to cap S/L.
Personally, my /Ea brute is already softcapped to s/l and only has one set of ToD, the steadfast unique. Everything else is just generic IO's.

Ah well, as I said in another thread tomato, tomato.

I take that back, it uses Energy drain to hit soft cap for now, has one full set of ToD and 1 set of Oblits. Of course, he's also only lvl 38 atm

Here's what his finished build will look like.

    http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...53E65F4C68DC15

50% s/l def, without even using energy drain. Of course, I'll prob use it in every group, just to keep the extra buffer there in case of def debuffs.

Apparently Mids has been updated. I wanted to see what could be done. How's 100 KP/Sec with 33% S/L def with 31% S/L res sound?

Of course, thats when DP is up. Of course, while haasten is up, DP has 106 sec regharge, compared to its 120 sec duration.

  10. First off, complications of organ removal suck. Freakin hate the hospital.

Second, it occured to me that someone had asked about DM/EA in the scrapper forums a couple of days ago. This is what I posted over there. I think the only difference in scrapper and brute EA is the order you get energy drain and energize is reversed.

Not really, but not prohibitively expensive either, especially since it avoids the use of Kin Combats.

Pine questioned my use of ToD for an /EA toon. You still hit soft cap without using the Kin Combats, so why use the money on them. Like I said, this is just what I personally would do. Maybe it'll give you some ideas.

So what do you recommend multi-server groups do in regards to SG recruitment? Posting up duplicate threads on the various server seems like a lot of repetition and if I'm not mistaken, is against the forum rules.

I was about to ask a similar question. I know when we started Guardians of Soul Society, we didn't publish it on the server forum. Mostly because we didn't know which server it was going to be on.

Personally I think the SG/VG Recruitment should be left as it is.

As far as the PvP forum consolidation idea, you mean to tell me ppl still PvP? And talk about it on the forums?

Agreed completely. I was completely unable to watch that teen iron man series just because of the CGI. Sorry, but I prefer old school cartoons.

Yeah, if not toggled, it shouldn't effect it.
  17. Back in hospital, so I'll look when I get home.

My new ss/ea brute is 38 and softcapped to s/l/e and close to it on f/c without using a single kin combat.

Well, with the new Story Arc, Who will die? It should be a little easier. Being able to grab a hero merit at 10 helped me. Between doing that and the hero side TF's I've been able sto slot my Fm/Wp with all generic IO's, and have around 100mil Inf. Though I freely admit to having no clue how to work the market. I also have a perf shifter +end Slotted.

Also, I know EM is a shadow of it's former self, but the Op did state that he wanted a set that was unavailable to scrappers. That was the only reason I mentioned it.

    P.P.S.
There is currently a bug in mids if you have, I believe it is the tier 3 and 4 incarnate that increases healing/regen. Can't remember what it's called. They are working on fixing that.
  19. I have a concept for a toon that I really want to play, but am unsure whether to roll it as a corroptur or a defender.

Personally, I'm not really one for playing squishies, I'm mostly into melee toons.
I level mostly by doing TF's, PuGs, and soloing a few mishes. I like doing stupid scrapper tricks, like soloing AV's, and one day would like to solo a GM, though not necessarily with this particular toon.

With this in mind, what would you recommend?
  20. Unfortunately, due to a death in the Family, I will most likely be out of town that day, so unable to attend. I would like to do one in the future though, so please let me know if ya'll plan on doing another one.
  21. As I said before, I wont derail the thread any further, if you guys would like to continue to discuss this, I believe a new thread would be the appropriate place, not here.

DeProgrammer and other Mids personnel, I apologize for the turn that the thread took.

Also, this particular build above uses Weave, Combat Jumping, AND Maneuvers, so it's pretty high defense already before adding set bonuses. Avoiding Kinetic Combat and using Touch of Death means somewhat lower Smash/Lethal defense, but it may be over the softcap anyway, so it doesn't matter. Touch of Death is cheaper, too (unless you just use A-Merits).
    Blue Fenix is right.

The build is over soft cap without even using energy drain, and ToD is cheaper than Kin Combat. Much cheaper. A full set of 6 ToD is cheaper than 4 Kin Combats, and the enhancement values themselves are better.
  23. For years I have played the game, enjoying the myriad sounds that we have, music, sound fx, with only the occasional use of back ground music.

Since BR was released, I have CoX sound turned all the way down, and youtube playlists on shuffle.
