Title says it all, looking for a good DM/EA build. My playstyle varies alot so not worried about AoE or Single target or anything else like that.

Here is a basic layout for what I personally would do.
Haven't chosen Incarnate, epic/app powers, and theres still a few slots to put in powers, and slot SL as you please.
Is it cheap?
Not really, but not prohibitively expensive either, especially since it avoids the use of Kin Combats.

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

Why would you use Touch of Death Melee set? Energy Aura is a Typed defense set and Touch of Death is a Positional defense IO bonus.



Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Positional defense IO bonuses also give half the value as Typed (and vice versa). There are cases where either there isn't a Typed-bonus set for what you want for that power, or the other bonuses besides defense are better in one set over another.

Also, this particular build above uses Weave, Combat Jumping, AND Maneuvers, so it's pretty high defense already before adding set bonuses. Blue Fenix is right.

The build is over soft cap without even using energy drain, and ToD is cheaper than Kin Combat. Much cheaper. A full set of 6 ToD is cheaper than 4 Kin Combats, and the enhancement values themselves are better.
