Personally, I'm not a fan of it, as it makes more lines in local.

I DO use it when I use both visual non text emotes (/e plotting) but I keep to the "Hmmmmm *ponders*" as well.

I'd say the choice is yours.

If you want a purely Tech base, then arcane might still be useful through Empowerment Stations.

You can how ever mix them up.
Power = Power
Control = Control
It doesn't matter if it's tech or control that generates it, an item that uses either (or both) it'll just use it.

How does "Driller" fit?

As said, depends on the badge.

Some might be purely OOC, some IC.

Attomic kitten is in teh Chess Club, they know each other, but not intimately.

Roselin thorne has a clone called Rosalin Thorne, they're like twin sisters now.

The French Maid is pretty solitary as an RP character.

Misha Hannigan is a member of the Unity Vigil, who are allies with The Chess Club. She knows of Grav and ToP... but other wise...

I can see a 'secret community' of bored multi gazillionairs looking for some fun and a better feel of power.

Each picking 'their champion' to do the scaveging. Each picking one or two targets. Selected for challenge more then probablility for success.
Each picking the 'means of control' over their champion.

Picking a start (like Halloween) and a end date (like... Christmas or new years?)

Maybe even a hidden target for the champion to take, but unknown to the champion which it is?


I'd be more interested in being a mark then a hunter... Grav's hat would be a valid target.

Outside the Portal destination of Galaxy City that the group used to go out, Tnark noticed they were being watched. It turned out to be one of the ‘pointy eared arrogants’ (Tnark’s view) of the … Xizzarix race? I forgot the name and the name of the race, and have no access to the logs, sorry.

How he got to be there, he didn’t explain. No one asked.
The group decided to go out and ‘nullify’ a group of ‘the militant faction’, for different reasons… most prominent of reasons was probably to gain favour with an other faction, namely the Government.

The Council training base was shut down with minimal effort. The symbol of the Council contained an eye, so it was dubbed “The Eye Clan” by Tnark.
Xizzarzix or how ever his name went commented at the ‘low tech’ and ‘like being in a museum’ at the state of the art Council tech. Which was different, and probably a bit more advanced, then that of the Gelosians, Tnark’s race. He opted to call them ‘tech knights’, in their ‘cute attempt’ at science.

Not a lot of salvageable items were there, but at least dried food stocks were usable and thus salvaged (or confiscated… or if you have to use the name “looted”). And so they went back to the Haven Nuevo.

Then it was decided that they went to their representative in the city. From there they got information about a possible weapon’s shipment that the city didn’t want in the Council’s hands (finally, a name) and so they went to confiscate the fire arms and salvage what they could. Xizzarari was talking to Teremity in a clear flirty manner as the group waited for Mr. Galaxy to conclude his business in the hall. He scanned the building and life forms were confirmed, to which Tnark responded with such abundance of life forms in a city, it was not quite surprising… Nhaila kept a lookout inside, soon followed by Tnark.
Opposition was harsher, the troops better trained. Not surprising considering the previous were mostly still in training. Near the end, Zaxiraxa got in to trouble, getting the attention of a large group of Council while the rest of the team was scouting an other room.
Teremity healed him in time, and the team engaged the group. Zirazix thanked Teremity flirtily, Tnark snarled in combat. But whether it was ‘the pointy eared fool’ getting the attention, his manners or just the combat… none can tell.

Having moved on to the next base, there was an other waiting period. Tnark wasn’t very friendly to ‘pointy’ (I’m running out of variations of the name I can’t remember)
He asked Tnark if he had a problem with him, Tnark responded that he did indeed, but this was not the time or place with the mission so close at hand…
Tnark sensed something, though… something he couldn’t quite explain. But as a hunter, he has learned to trust his instincts and went to investigate…

Some have been answered in their own thread, I'm not sure which have been drawn or not.

But don't let that stop you in picking up ones you like!

Actually, pressing the C or the / button brings up the chat window again.
It overlays the build item list, until you click on the list, and vice versa.
But you can chat while base building.

What do you use your base for?
Mostly lurking, really...
As I don'get booted for being AFK.
Other then that...
Invention crafting and storage mostly.
Also, I RP in my bases (Yes, I have more then one... on either side )
Finally, I do mission occasinally and use the med and teleport facilities.

How big is your base?
The smallest rent-free plot.
Several rooms, multi functional for the operational base.
Like... teleportation room+garden
Control Room + library and office (arcane ftw )
Medic bay + apartment
and so on.

What is your favourite room?
On heroes side it's the library/office/control room
On Villains, it's the Oversight room that's solly the apartment for my main on that side.


Did you design the base, did some one else, or is it a shared effort?
Mostly my design, a room here and there by some one else.


How often did your base get redesigned? Was it just for upgrades?
Heroes side, there've been about 4 major changes in design. The final one being the change from RP base to fully functional PvE base with RP multifunctionality.

Other then that, it's usually just additions.


What is still missing in your base?
Well... a more homey feel to it, less fudging with other things to make a kitchen, bathroom and such.
Also, with the small size of the SG (Me, my alts and some of friends alts) the tree of life is one of the things I'd like to add.

A multi floor, large base that has rooms with the modability of... let's say The Sims or rather the TES editer I used to make a mansion and floating ice castle in Morrowind
