Alien weeknight RP team

For a few brief secnds, the star held. Then, with a thunderous roar that would never be heard by any creature in the universe, it exploded. Crackling corona of heat and light burst frin the star as fantastic colors and lights flared through the dark, purple-red mass of gas left behind.

All of this happens outside of the view of the refugees, who hide in a battered shell of a ship, flung millions of lightyears away by the cataclysm, and the energy of the dieing star.

Paragon City has such strange visitors at times.


Hello there! I'm starting a new weeknight RP team, based upon the concept above. (That's a bunch of aliens who have fled a supernova, if you couldn't be bothered to read it). Other than alien, there's no theme, and i would also remind you all that there's a whole universe of possibility to make characters with! I would, obviously, like to avoid a team of 8 kheldians*, though...

*I've already had some interest, so there are only 5 places, actually!

That's quite cute ^^ I haven't done any RP on CoX in ages so I'd certainly be interested

Ok, just to add, in case it wasn't clear, they'll have to be new characters. Whether we make the first meet in Outbreak or one of the start zones is up to the assembled.

I was thinking Mondays or Tuesdays. Fridays i cannot do! And yes, Union is the server.

How do you want the Aliens to be like, cause atm all i can think of is using the insectoid pieces :/

Insectoid is viable, but i don't want them to "like" anything. The star system deliberately had 8 planets, so that's 8 possible species. If you want an insect, go as insect as you like.

Ok, we're almost good, just need to decide a date, a meeting place (I think we're going to need to meet in a zone, as Lep's skibbed outbreak), and, obviously, characters. We're almost there.

I can do both Mondays and Tuesdays. Now, for a starting area, probably some landmark in either Atlas or Galaxy (GG, Atlas Bank, or somesuch). I was thinking either a machine or fantasy-esque style character with up-to-date gizmos and stuff...

I made my guy hes called Radscale.

I've knocked together one now. A stone tanker called Nhailo

I might be interested, depending on the times.

I can't make Tuesdays.

And for weeknights, I have a curfew of somewhere between 9 and 10.
(Me being in The Netherlands, this makes it 10 or 11 for me, and 6am rise makes that the latest I can make)

So, what are the target times?


Also, might be interesting to know what AT/powers people have picked or in mind.

Is there a deadline for character making? I am useless at that.

If its ok i changed mine to a warshade called Night Screen, if not i can use the original or make another.
Just never leveled a warshade before.

Feyth: No hard deadline, but soon is good.

Shut_Down: That's fine, I just don't want EVERYONE being Khelds. And obviously, he has to come from another planet, in a star system far, far away.

ShadowGhost: 7:00 is probably the earliest i can get on reliably. Stuff(tm) tends to pop up earlier on in the day.
I'll be playing a Grav/Kin controller, and i know Leprechaun is playing a MA/Inv Scrapper.

And also: The tenative name i'm thinking of for the ship is the "Haven Novae". Any better suggestions, contructively critical remarks, or words in my ear are appreciated with regards to its suitability!

I kind of tried to tie in why he was a warshade and why he was on the Alien ship and why he's now in a human form. It may sound complicated but i think it works, i put it down in his ID

Hmmm. If i'm very lucky, and finish work early eniugh, I can just about squeeze 7 start, but 7:30 - 8.00 is easier for me. I have yet to write a full bio, but the basics are that Nhailo is a plant-based humanoid life form, and she's a stone/stone tanker

7:30 - 8:00 would be a nice start time for me

So, depending on what other people would like to play, I can alter mine...

Ok, first off, typo there. That's Haven Novae. Secondly, i was assuming Galaxy, it's generally less crowded. Under what circumstances do we meet? Near immediately after the crash, or after a day or two?

Different ships? Then I'd say a day or two after... but what draws us together? - prearanged coordinates or something else?

Same ship... then emerging from the wreckage? (sp?)


Would we be the 'supers' of our race, or just normal for our race on Earth?
Assuming we weren't the only ones evacuated... where are the others... though, if like Superman, we are the 'only one'(s) then... why us?
