    Then don't pick FSC or GFS - plenty of other powers to choose from between your primary, secondary, 4 ancil and epic/patron pools. Quite simple really.

    The fiery swords aren't physical swords - they are manifestations of elemental fire which are seen as taking the general form of a sword.
  2. Illusionist badge isn't that hard to get blueside - you just need to make sure you don't kill the MI and they spawn in PI so no need to hunt them in a mish if you don't want. Remember you only need 1 point of damage on the spawned pets for them to count and she will repeatedly span them. - not particularly fast and definitely boring but it doesn't take 3 years either.

    To avoid the abuse, perhaps flag characters per account so that a fifty from one moving to another won't unlock Epic AT's, but a character created on the account could. Lots of coding I guess, but it'd stop people selling their chars for the unlock.

    Easier just to limit it to transferring between different game accounts on the same master account.

    Try the high level Mayhems PPD will provide you with targets for it.
  6. Basically you aren't mezzed when you change to human and the queued power activates. Possibly it should check the mez mag affecting you as soon as you change forms. Probably better if changing forms was to cancel all queued powers which aren't available in the new form.

    Its never really worked that way. If you are mezzed or even defeated non interuptible powers that have started their activation will still fire as most characters wilth heals will have already found out. The number of times I've been defeated and then have my heal fire is ridiculous.

OK have just checked the US forums on this and I'll concede you are right on these except for PVP where players still have a base to hit of 75% - assuming that didn't change along with just about everything else for PVP. For those wanting a fuller description of the mechanics try Arcanavilles guide here. It dates from I9 but I cant recall seeing anything more recent.

    Nope, it doesn't. It used to, about 6 issues ago, but now it is a factor of 2 whatever the accuracy of the mob attacking you is.

    The math (simplified, not showing caps and stuff):

    Old system, that you are thinking of: %hitprob = %mobacc - %def

    System the game actually uses: %hitprob = mobAccModifier*(50% - %def).

    Where the accuracy modifier is 1.0 for an even con mob, up to 1.25 for an AV.

    This means that an AV is 25% more likely to hit than a minion, regardless of how much defense you have. therefore 1% def will reduce incoming damage by an avarage of 2% regardless of the accuracy of the mob.

    Yes but the caps and stuff are important when you are running close to them as most defense based characters will be. Level scaling still affects that base hit % which is only 50% for even level mobs - if your fighting +3s its a long way out at +5s its nonsense.

    Have you installed CoH in the defailt location - The updater sometimes seems to change this under Vista

    Try checking Local Disk (C --> Program Files --> City of Heroes --> Screenshots

    Thats where mine go even though the game is installed on a different drive. Also the default key is Print Screen not Del

    My Pistol/Traps is about the same as well - EBs can be a real pain to solo but still possible just as long as they aren't Ballistas - their KB kills. At least the lack of end isn't so bad now. I'm also now clearing more mishes without dieing than not. Before lvl 20 debt was to be expected.

    I've had someone do that with one of my corrupters before - I entered Pocket D - he followed only I somehow entered on the hero side - must have really confused him how I gave him the slip.

    I wouldn't expect it to have any effect on the servers just the clients - as its purely cosmetic I'd expect it would be implemented client side as with the rag doll animations.

    Like those flipping Rikti EBs in Invasions! -rage- They NEVER spawn! We had about four teams, killing SO many Rikti, and NO EBs spawned! And this happnes every time. This is redside, but still! Why do villain badges seem so horribly horribly hard? The troll one? Near impossible. The Crey Infiltrator one? REALLY hard (for an MM, which is the only one that unlocks anything). The Family one?     Well we had about 6 of the suits spawn on the raid in Cap last night so I can assure you they do spawn - you just need enough about to keep the players threat high enough.
    Three characters is theoretically possible but I can't see you getting the dps on that few - about 12 or so and they should appear.

  21. Also bear in mind that the amount of damage you do to the mobs affects the xp award of they are damaged by multiple players.

    Leave the area and return - normally there will be fresh spawns. If you are still in the immediate area - that does include the other ship - they won't respawn.
