My main scrap is EM/SD and I effin love it! I will admit it takes a substantial investment to really shine but once its there, its a thing of beauty. BU/LR/Fire ball/SC and a whole spawn of +3's/+4's is toast with any bosses at half life. I've got a solid ST attack chain but its, admittedly, certainly not a Katana or Dark melee scrapper. With the right slotting you can get BU/LR/SC to under 30 seconds so its ready for every spawn. With softcapped def and AAO you can also be an effective stand in Tank for a team, I even picked up provoke on mine. Wiping out all the sub-boss lvl mobs will also extend the survivability of any squishies you may be teaming with. Its a very useful toon both solo and teamed.

Also run the Midnighters arc and Monty will give you a new contact on the second or third mission. That plus radios should open up a bunch of contacts for you.

I highly doubt this will happen. Why? Because this would cause most knockdown effects by melee classes to become knockback, which tends to be undesireable for melee. Put it into something that would otherwise help the character (or already is, especially), and you're going to have a lot of annoyed players.

well, the hami enzymes range from 3-500 mill, A 5pc Apoc is about 2bill and a 5pc Ragnarok is around 2bill. The Purps could prolly be replaced with something cheaper though. If this whole build were bought with inf, I'd guess it would cost 5-6 billion.
I suggest running a lot of tip missions and STFs/Hami raids
I'm just going off memory here so take my numbers with a grain of salt. -

I cant open the build, there is rumor of some bug with sleet in dominators and Mids.
I just finished up a Earth/fire Dom softcapped to s/l and it really stands up well. I stay in melee most of the time. The capped s/l really shines when I wasn't the one who initiated combat and I didn't have the chance to get them stunned or falling on their butts before they get off a few shots. Having a couple seconds to get things under control is priceless imho. -
Take a look at this thread I started a while back.
I wanted to see how much recharge one could pack into a build and my fellow forumites did not disappoint. I think one of the build came in at just under 300%. None of these are scrapper builds, mostly rads and kins, but it will certainly show you the upper limits of building for recharge. I should point out that some of these builds would not really be playable since every sets deciding factor was recharge and not necessarily optimized for the build/power.
As has been said, 400% is just not possible without outside buffs. -

I just finished up an Earth/Fire Dom and its a real beast! You have the best crowd control in the game (imho) paired with the best ranged damage set in the game (also imho). I took the ice epic for the shield and sleet/ice storm combo. I just watch spawns melt away while I sit in relative safety. Great combo! (imho

P.S. I have also been having problems with corrupted data on the fire/earth/ice Dom. I dunno if anyone will be able to open that build I just posted. I wonder if its a problem with that combination of power sets in Mids.
I was able to open your build with the last data link but none of your chunks will work for me. -
I came up with a fire/earth build not too long ago, its end use/recovery is just a little better but I made some different power selections. Perhaps you can use it for ideas. Hover, fly and ring of fire could all be swapped out for whatever as well.

I ended the weekend with about 120 lvls, 60 shards and so much inf that I need to add a new wing to my money bin!

Yes they will all stack. Ill/rads or rads in general can achieve some of the highest recharge in the game without depending on ally buffs or enemy siphons.
I cant say for sure if a single speed boost will make everything perma but you should be close.
I'm sure Local_Man will be by soon to give you some more detailed info. -

I want to know the story of how it got there, maybe an epic fight between Statesman and Recluse where Statesman threw a ferry at Recluse! Or maybe its a ferry from the past that was transported in time to place where the previous landscape has changed drastically. I dunno, lots of ideas to explore Love it!

I think AE was left out of the last couple 2xXP weekends so I diddnt expect it to be included this time round. Hit a couple TFs at double XP and its as good as farming in AE plus you get merits
