  1. This episode was ok. It wasn't great. But the series has been better this year than it has been in awhile. Or maybe that's because they are finally putting everything in place for Clark to put on the cape and be Superman. Anyway, seeing the glimpse of the future Clark and Lois a couple of episodes ago made me sad to see the show go. I was always hoping that they would change the name to Metropolis or something and keep going with Clark actually being Superman. Oh well, I guess all things must come to an end.
  2. I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. Are all the episodes going to be a hour and a half? If so, I guess that makes up for only having 6 episodes. Hopefully they will make more episodes the next season. I only read the first issue of the comic, but I was impressed with how true they stayed to it. I'm already hooked on Robert Kirkman's Invincible, I'm worried that this show will make me go out and buy the comics.
  3. Just taking my kids trick or treating. My son is going to be Spider-Man. The two previous years he went as Superman. I'm curious as to how long I can keep him interested in the superheros.

Wow, thanks! I had no idea that free month was happening! I'm excited; I just set my DVR to record it!
  5. I have dish network, but not AMC....I'll be watching as soon as it's available online!

Those ads made me give them a try and I was a customer for years. I've gone exclusively to trades now, so I get all my comics in the stores or from amazon.com, but in the rare case that I'm looking for a back issue, I go the Mile High first. I also use their back issue log as a reference on back issues in general.
  7. www.milehighcomics.com

I used to have monthly subscriptions with them when I was in the Army and stationed overseas. They also have a huge selection of back issues.
  8. I'm rolling an elec/elec stalker and it's the most fun I've had with a toon in awhile. You can hit Lightning Rod while hidden and score critical hits on entire mobs, and most of the time you remain hidden since it's a bot doing the actual damage. You can then hit Thunder Strike and get more critical hits on much of the mob, and then hit Placate and Assassin's Strike on whatever boss or Lt. is still alive. Fun stuff.

    So, what's left?

I've been wanting that, but I was thinking more Pro Wrasslin' style with clothslines and dropkicks thrown in, like Zangief (spelling?) from the Street Fighter games.

I want a shield offense power that includes throwing the shield and I want a modifiable force field power where the force fields are used to make objects, ala a Green Lantern ring.
  10. For a sapper, I recommend an electric/electric Blaster. Suck the endurance out of whole mobs.

Yeah. I sent the last error log to Support.

Thanks again for all your help, ZM.
  12. Issue happened again.....

I'm not quite ready for the pain in the *** of reloading everything quite yet, but I'll probably just go ahead reinstall the system the next time I have a problem.

I'm kind of dunce when it comes to the inner workings of a computer; how do I go about increasing the RAM?
  14. Ok. I followed most of Zombieman's suggestions: I stopped almost all the startup programs and updated my video driver. I also deleted all the files in the pigg folder and let the patcher replace them. This seems to have fixed the problem since the game was crashing frequently due to various corrupt pigg files. I played for a couple of hours last night and today and I didn't encounter the problem. Hopefully it's fixed.

Thanks again for all your help, ZM.
  15. Sounds similar to my problem, in that my computer ran CoH with no major problems for nearly 4 years only to have the files become corrupt somehow.
  16. Thanks a lot for the suggestions, ZM.

For right now, I've updated the graphics driver and turned off almost all the background programs. I have a recovery drive on my computer, so as soon as I'm ready for all the hassle, I'll save everything to an external and reformat the harddrive. I have to wait on that one for the right time because my wife has to use the computer often to get things ready for work.
  17. I just don't understand the need for everything to be the same. The game has different ATs for a reason.

But /Fire has Combustion, Fire Sword Circle, Hot Feet, Blazing Aura, and Burn.

Rad has Irradiate, which is a PBAoE attack with about the same radius as Combustion, but activates much faster.

You can single target blap with Energy and Electric, but only Fire lets you AoE blap.

Disclaimer: Fire Manipulation will deal obscene amounts of damage in melee range, but it adds almost nothing to your survivability. If you choose to play one solo, expect to die frequently until you get your timing down.
Now I must give a /Fire another chance. I tried it once a long time ago, but I obviously didn't give it a chance to get good.
  22. I could see the Joker passing them out.

    Joker: "Here's my card."
    Scared henchmen: "Uh....ok, boss."

Then poison kills the henchman and he dies laughing.
  23. I'm not a fan of the show and only watch when my wife wants to watch something together. I'll have to admit that the Grilled Cheesus stuff had me rolling though. Great, weird, fun.

    Me too!

I am happy about Bruce Wayne returning, but I'm dissapointed that he won't be Batman once he returns. For years I waited on Steve Rogers to come back, and now he is, but he isn't Captain America. Steve Rogers IS Captain America and now I have to wait on Bucky to die to see it again. I was hoping that Bruce would resume being Batman and Dick would go back to being Nightwing. Being Nightwing is cool. Why would he want to stay Batman when he could be Nightwing? Oh well. I got sick of Morrison and stopped reading Batman after the RIP storyline so it doesn't really matter to me. Bruce Wayne IS Batman though.
