  1. I'm actually surprised there isn't a signup thread in our Team Events forum...

We've only got ROlympics SG vs. SG event running a TF marathon at +4...

Let's see if we get any bites.
You have to say Hickman's name 3 times at once, while looking in a mirror to get him to appear.
  3. And besides, not everyone would need a name change upon switching. Many of my characters, for example: Sally Lee Brown (Mastermind), Anscillect (Defender), Sonya Childer (Tanker), Ookami Ezo (Stalker), Polished Diamond (Blaster), Rea C. Tive (Corruptor), SOSOS (Controller).

Don't forget to factor in irony ("Sentinal of Light" can be a villain, normally associated with darkness; "Aged Justice" may bring the 'justice' of a forgotten age) or subterfuge (see: Evil Overlord List #29: I will dress in bright and cheery colors, and so throw my enemies into confusion.). There's also the fact that just because of a face heel turn, doesn't mean people stop referring to the character by the same name. Spider-man is still Spider-man if he starts robbing banks.

Yes. During beta I remember combining the bugs in the DS whip animations (wouldn't root for the full time they're supposed to) with Blackwand to get my whip and the neat-looking bugged Blackwand animation, without sacrificing any time to animation bugs.

  7. The default QuickChat menu (updated for I17) can be found here. I've also updated the OP

Edit: the default MNU contains a line //Option "Hold Crate" "e HoldCrate" -- (the the text is in the file, but sine it's commented it won't appear in the menu) /e HoldCrate does not work
  8. The whip attacks are the only powers in DS that I'd call 'skippable'. However, unlike the attacks in other MM primaries, I wouldn't skip the whips out of hand; they're actually useful.
  9. /bind insert "+lookup"
    /bind delete "+lookdown"
  10. Everytime a (non-beta/development) piece of software runs into an assertion failure, my hand twitches.

It's like a Pavlovian response where I feel like smacking a programmer >.>

As such, it would be hard for me to disagree with your idea

And to be honest, this is very dark-knight.
That looks like a gladiator wearing skulls for decoration. I hear 'bone armor' and think something along the lines of a Bonestrider:

(Bonestriders themselves would be considered siege weapons, clocking in at around 16-25 feet tall.)

Alternatively, something like the Loathsome Osseous Shell:

(More like power armor than siege weaponry -- think a skeleton/zombie version of Iron Man's suit)

That's not right. They're 3D data displayed as a 2D image via perspective projection. Biiiiig difference.
  15. Honestly, I'd take the Worlds patent only slightly more seriously than the guy in Australia who managed to get a patent for a 'circular motion assistance device' -- the wheel. (And the onyl reason I'd take Worlds more seriously is because the Australian guy was doing it to make fun of the patent office)

Anything in Pool B, I believe.

Me, I find Dimensional Explorer/Arachnos Official (Traveler's Jetpack) and Law Enforcer/Arachnos Agent (XP bonus on mission completion) to be most useful. The others have their uses, but I find those two to be the most generally useful.

Yeah, eyeballing polycounts, WoW often uses half as many polys (or less) as most other MMOs on the market (except maybe the browser-based MMOs)

No, they've just said that it's cheaper and easier to give him a little bit of undisclosed money than to pay legal expenses and go to court (twice, if they then sue him for legal expenses).

On top of this, many centers have additional cash prizes or gift certificate programs to keep things fun and interesting.

Mass amounts? Pain Domination gives 11.25% (enhanced) with World of Pain, and 22.5% (enhanced) with Conduit of Pain (which only applies to self, and can only be used once a teammate dies).

World of Pain is equal to Tactics, and requires a fair bit of +Rech investment in order to be perma. Plus, Tactics is nearly twice WoP's radius.

If you want to counter a team full of FF and Dark users, you'd do better to bring yellow inspirations and a Poison. (Note that a small yellow is equal to unenhanced WoP/Tactics for MMs, and a medium yellow is almost equal to enhanced CoP)

Also if I slot gaussians chance for build up on my enforcers, will both of my enforcers be using that the same way a player with tactics/focused accuracy would.
If the enhancement applies to the power (for example, Arsonist > Spit Fire accepts Endurance Reduction, Damage, and Accuracy), then the enhancement will help that power that the pet uses. If the power does not accept the enhancement (for example, Gang War's Posse does not accept Endurance Reduction), then that enhancement type will not affect that pet's power.

Recharge Reduction does not affect the power of any pet entity. This was a change to improve pet AI, as things got out of hand when they were affected by recharge buffs. As a bonus, they are no longer affected by recharge debuffs, either.

I'm not a fan of this idea. In particular, the only current way to implement it would be "Self: -X Endurance", just like Repel. And that would mean you can't reduce the cost of the upgrade using enhancements. (And then what can you slot in the upgrade power?)
  23. \ q will open the Quit window, which lets you click a button to quit to login or quit to desktop. However, you must click one of the buttons (or you can close the window if you want to stay logged in), it won't quit for you.

/quit will quit to desktop. You'll either wait 30 seconds, or you can click a button to close the application immediately.

There is no slash command to quit to login. Note the difference between backslash (\ q) and forward slash (/quit) in the above. The former (\ q) is simply using the default keymappings where the backslash key opens the main menu, and Q is the mnemonic for the Quit menu option.
