I agree. Only my Masterminds should be able to summon an army of henchmen.

"Dialogue" is a discussion. "Dialog", which the option says, is a type of window.

Blasters are not a Ranged Damage/mumblemumblemumble AT. They are a Damage/Damage AT. Most secondary powers are melee, with a few ranged/AoE thrown in (in particular, the T1 immobilize found in the majority of the sets); most primary powers are long ranged, with a few close ranged powers as well. And the melee powers in general deal more damage -- that thing that makes Blasters what they are.

There is a reason why "Blapper" is such a common build type.

This is correct. It's also amusing for a character who doesn't know the connection between the Lost and the Rikti to run a Lost mission around level 29...

That is how scaling works in AE. You can't make a level 50 Hellion. You could make a custom critter with fire blast/melee powers, and dress them like Hellions, but they aren't Hellions.

What can fill the hole? Hello, weaker pool power version of Placate. So very nice to meet ya.
Meh, not a fan. The Placate effect alone is nothing special, and is in fact often detrimental on a team. What makes the [Placate] power good is that it puts you back into the Hidden state so you can crit again. But only 3 ATs would benefit from Hidden.

... actually the Hidden state is accomplished by setting the player's meter to 100%; I believe the same meter is used for Hidden, Fury, and Domination (and the old version of Defiance). So a Brute using Stalker's Placate would get 100% Fury, instantly, and a Dominator would fill their domination bar. So a pool power Placate which set you back in Hidden state would help 3 ATs as expected, and 2 more ATs in an unexpectedly broken fashion.
  8. Great, now I want a 'lady luck' style powerset. Rolling dice, spinning slots, and getting totally random effects. This is ALL YOUR FAULT, you hear me??! >:(

Prodigal is not a spelling error; prodigious and prodigal are two distinct words.

Of course, I'm too lazy to go look where it was used to think about which word is correct

Kronos/Cronos/Chronus/Aeon (Χρόνος) is the personification of Time. Kronus/Cronus (Κρόνος) is the Titan and father of Zeus, with the baby eating and whatnot.

    You may continue.

(Most have a single gif with Ghost Widow, a few have a single gif with Mantid, a few have multiple gifs, and a few have links to actual video.)

Pretty sure PP found more lucrative farming opportunities. Probably farming for purples, but she's also got a CO lifetime subscription, and it seems every other time I've seen her write about that game, her opinion of it swapped.

Yes. If you want to have access to Live, the Test server, and you want to beta test GR, you need 3 separate installations.

You should be able to get the beta install in the same manner as the test install, though. Instead of passing the -test flag to the updater, use the -beta flag.

Neither Sonic Cage nor Detention Field accept intangible enhancements, because they can already capture any target with a single application. Considering the "Intangibility Duration" enhancements actually enhance intangibility magnitude, and there's absolutely no reason to enhance the magnitude of Sonic Cage or Detention Field, neither power accepts the enhancements.

RO, Repeat Offenders. A (large) group of players known for 'publicly leveraging game mechanics to do stupidly difficult things easily.' (Quoth Castle) Things such as draining Lusca's endurance in seconds, hatching the entire last room of the Snake Temple while running the mission at +4 "for fun", and letting Recluse run around doing whatever he wants on the STF (with the help of Sonic Cage, the "lame phase power" that "doesnt[sic] even accept Intangible enhs").

Oh, wait. I'm a member of the Repeat Offenders. I suppose I'm not allowed to post in this thread. So sad rite nao

Well, I don't want them enough that I'd buy GR CE just for the enhancements. But I also held off on pre-purchasing GR, so I haven't gotten it yet. And GR CE comes with subscription time (IIRC the pre-purchase doesn't), and the GameStop deal comes with a $15 mouse pad (oh, sorry -- 'desktop skin') with a Desdemona picture. Apparently, the mouse pad is high-quality, too.
