I've got nothing going on between my flight on the 14th and my flight on the 23rd

Quote:"Dialogue" is a discussion. "Dialog", which the option says, is a type of window.I suppose the reason I never checked the box was because I am not certain exactly what constitutes "Cooperative Zone Dialogue." Dialogue is a two-way discussion, so I am wondering if Inigo is going to say that he does not think that word means what they think it means.

Quote:Blasters are not a Ranged Damage/mumblemumblemumble AT. They are a Damage/Damage AT. Most secondary powers are melee, with a few ranged/AoE thrown in (in particular, the T1 immobilize found in the majority of the sets); most primary powers are long ranged, with a few close ranged powers as well. And the melee powers in general deal more damage -- that thing that makes Blasters what they are.As you guys know, Blasters are very squishy and the majority of their powers are ranged attacks for obvious reasons being any close melee would almost guarantee a certain quick death and a trip to your friendly neighborhood Hospital.
There is a reason why "Blapper" is such a common build type. -
Quote:This is correct. It's also amusing for a character who doesn't know the connection between the Lost and the Rikti to run a Lost mission around level 29...My understanding of the mobs is that they are made at predefined levels. Did this change recently? I am not aware of it if it has.
An example are the Rikti which show up at lvl30, even if you are in a lvl29 mission.
That is how scaling works in AE. You can't make a level 50 Hellion. You could make a custom critter with fire blast/melee powers, and dress them like Hellions, but they aren't Hellions. -
Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in.

Quote:Meh, not a fan. The Placate effect alone is nothing special, and is in fact often detrimental on a team. What makes the [Placate] power good is that it puts you back into the Hidden state so you can crit again. But only 3 ATs would benefit from Hidden. It'd make the design simpler to just take Challenge, wad it up into a ball, and throw it in the trash.
What can fill the hole? Hello, weaker pool power version of Placate. So very nice to meet ya.
... actually the Hidden state is accomplished by setting the player's meter to 100%; I believe the same meter is used for Hidden, Fury, and Domination (and the old version of Defiance). So a Brute using Stalker's Placate would get 100% Fury, instantly, and a Dominator would fill their domination bar. So a pool power Placate which set you back in Hidden state would help 3 ATs as expected, and 2 more ATs in an unexpectedly broken fashion. -
Great, now I want a 'lady luck' style powerset. Rolling dice, spinning slots, and getting totally random effects. This is ALL YOUR FAULT, you hear me??! >:(

Quote:*my own record scratch sound effect*The Bio referenced Titans of the Greek pantheon, and gave a pretty detailed description of Kronos swallowing his children
Kronos/Cronos/Chronus/Aeon (Χρόνος) is the personification of Time. Kronus/Cronus (Κρόνος) is the Titan and father of Zeus, with the baby eating and whatnot.
You may continue. -
Done, along with aliases, descriptions, notes about whether the emote includes audio or works while flying, how to unlock it (for those which require unlocking), and for nearly all of them, an animated gif demonstrating the animation. (Most have a single gif with Ghost Widow, a few have a single gif with Mantid, a few have multiple gifs, and a few have links to actual video.)

It also took over 2 hours to complete.

Also, Westley's name is Philotic Knight, or PK for short. We won't let him get away with a name change that easy!
Quote:Not everyone here is crazy Danny. In fact, this game is ruled by math. You are now part of the grand equation maintained by Arcanaville throughout the ages. And Castle has placed you in the spreadsheet from which there is no escape.

Quote:So, you're gonna RP a 100 year-old corpse?Oh, and I also got the following names on Virtue reserved for GR:
Gerhardt Eisenstadt
Pretty sure PP found more lucrative farming opportunities. Probably farming for purples, but she's also got a CO lifetime subscription, and it seems every other time I've seen her write about that game, her opinion of it swapped. -
Quote:Yes. If you want to have access to Live, the Test server, and you want to beta test GR, you need 3 separate installations.Question is... Is this a completely different install/game configuration than what the *current* test server is?
You should be able to get the beta install in the same manner as the test install, though. Instead of passing the -test flag to the updater, use the -beta flag. -

Quote:Neither Sonic Cage nor Detention Field accept intangible enhancements, because they can already capture any target with a single application. Considering the "Intangibility Duration" enhancements actually enhance intangibility magnitude, and there's absolutely no reason to enhance the magnitude of Sonic Cage or Detention Field, neither power accepts the enhancements.Im not in favor of the cottage rule either, but Having those lame phase powers (and sonic doesnt even accept Intangible enhs)
RO, Repeat Offenders. A (large) group of players known for 'publicly leveraging game mechanics to do stupidly difficult things easily.' (Quoth Castle) Things such as draining Lusca's endurance in seconds, hatching the entire last room of the Snake Temple while running the mission at +4 "for fun", and letting Recluse run around doing whatever he wants on the STF (with the help of Sonic Cage, the "lame phase power" that "doesnt[sic] even accept Intangible enhs").
Oh, wait. I'm a member of the Repeat Offenders. I suppose I'm not allowed to post in this thread. So sad rite nao -
Well, I don't want them enough that I'd buy GR CE just for the enhancements. But I also held off on pre-purchasing GR, so I haven't gotten it yet. And GR CE comes with subscription time (IIRC the pre-purchase doesn't), and the GameStop deal comes with a $15 mouse pad (oh, sorry -- 'desktop skin') with a Desdemona picture. Apparently, the mouse pad is high-quality, too.
