Welcome back, friend!
A lot's changed. Lord of Time and ShoNuff run the Comic Culture forums, which is where I mostly hang out. Everyone got unbanned when the forums changed, so people are back from the dead. Europe's forums got merged with the U.S.'s, so expect "Blimey", "Mate", "Monsieur", and um... "Nederlandish" to be at the end of a lot of posts.
Trolling is more of a fine high-wire act now. PWNZ is mostly quiet or scattered to the winds. You can find most of them drinking tankards of ale in forgotten threads where people post links to overly mascera'd women singing of love none of them will ever know. The whole section's gone, though, as is a lot of the PvP community that posted on the forums.
The dynamic's changed.
Oh yeah, Lights and Ex are gone. You were there for that, right? It's all about Avatea and TheOcho now.
Did you want updates on the game, too? I can summarize what's happened.
How have things changed? You saw the most recent trailer for Going Rogue, right?

I'm aware of what happened with the game. Super Sidekicking and I don't get along well, but aside from going from a hardcore PVP player to an RPing hermit due to the PVP change.. well actually that's a pretty big change.
I miss status protection and Touch of Fear :/
I actually don't know who Avatea or TheOcho are.
I DID see the new trailer for GR. I'm hoping it's as awesome as I think it is.
No beta invite for me, big suprise, but hey! Bioware loves me.
So does their NDA so that's all I can say on that front.

TheOcho blurs the line between forum moderator and community person (Like Lighthouse did). Really great guy. Fun to hang out with at cons. 
Avatea is a polyglot and writes the European announcements from her personal knowledge of them. She's also very kind and patient, so points there.
We have a great set of Community peeps this round. They stay more quiet than Ex and Lights, so opinions aren't as "Rawr, love/hate this person or DIE!!!!111" as they were with the old guard.
I loves them both, but you know I tend to like Red Names.

'Lo Dumple. I'm imagining it's because that "Your forum ID/Pass is the same as your game ID/Pass" flag that goes up when you try to log in now. Mine wasn't either before, and it was bloody maddening trying to log in. So I stopped trying for almost a year apperently.
