Hey, nobody be dissin' on Sebastian!

Also, I'm not sure why you care that Disney created movies based on public domain poems, stories, and fairy tales. It's a retelling to reach the new generation. Can you honestly say that without Disney, you would have known the story of Ballad of Mulan? It's a poem written in China in the 6th century. The poem became a novel in the late 16th or early 17th century, and unless you study Chinese literature, you'd have never known of its existence without Disney's help.

For bonus points, the Disney movies tend to stay fairly close to the original plot (the recent Princess and the Frog notwithstanding, but that was an intentional inversion of the original story). The Lion King even mirrors scenes from Kimba the White Lion in some places, though that's a controversy for another day.

Sands of Mu does scale 1.08 Negative and 1.08 Smashing, not 2.16 Negative. Axe does 1.32 Lethal normally, and 2.64 Lethal against true undead (which also usually resist both Smashing and Negative). Amusingly, the Axe deals scale 0 Energy against Vahzilok zombies in addition to the base 1.32 Lethal

The Axe is actually a good choice if your arsenal is already full of Smashing/Negative (for example, Dark Blast/Melee characters). Adding a variety to your damage types is a good thing.

Yeah, the Shivans are basically corpses animated by Shiva. This explains the skeleton inside the goo.

Powers that were pure mezz sometimes get damage added for example.
It's not quite so simple. The real question is, what defines the nuke power? Is it simply a large burst of damage? Then yes, altering the values for that damage is fine. But if the goal for the power is to be a glorious explosion of elemental power (or insert appropriate description) which therefore leaves you drained, then turning a nuke down to the equivalent of a mini-nuke isn't in the program.

The cottage rule is based on the intent of the power design, not a rigid definition that allows players to find loopholes in order to support their pet suggestion. I don't know what the specific intent for the nukes is, but the cottage rule is not so rigidly defined.

Go watch Paranoia Agent or Serial Experiments Lain. Graveyard of the Fireflies and The Sky Crawlers would be some good movies to watch; no cat ears there, and they (shock!) have meaning. If Xanatos Speed Chess isn't an affront to your intelligence, look at Code Geass (oh wait, that has Cheese-kun, the mascot for Pizza Hut in Japan; it's also got people in cat costumes for a cat-themed party in one episode) or Death Note. I would suggest Night on the Galactic Railroad, but the protagonist and several secondary characters are cats, not simply people with cat ears, so you might reject it out of hand.

What about Blood+? Dealing with issues of being thrust into a world you didn't ask for, and fighting against an opponent you don't want to beat but can't afford to lose to?

Read or Die? The irony of cleansing the world of people and their destructive technology by using even more advanced technology? Making a clone of your girlfriend and killing her whenever she gets uppity?

R.O.D. the TV? Controlling the world's information and book burning are hardly thought-provoking at all.

Pet Shop of Horrors? A spotlight on the hubris of humanity. (Admittedly, the Pet Shop of Horrors anime comes up extremely shot when compared to the manga of the same name, considering only 6 episodes were ever made.)

And this is just an edited list of anime I own, removing things with mindless action or catgirls (god forbid I suggest .hack//Roots, an anime which takes place entirely within an MMO and has both a catgirl and a cat-oldmandyingofcancer as major characters).

The way I deal with my Thugs/Dark clone is to get the clone's aggro on myself (Darkest Night etc. hit me), and then send my pets to smack my clone around. For bonus points, I can still use Darkest Night, Tar Patch, and Shadow Fall without worrying about accuracy issues, and I just have to stay out of my henchmen's way in order to keep their accuracy up.

I will admit, though, I did use Demonic Aura and an awaken while getting Army of Me on my Thugs/Dark solo.

Given the additional hassles involved with dealing with salt water, fresh is preferred; and something less vulnerable to seasonal variations would tend to favor the Great Lakes.
But you also have to consider in-multiverse status of Earth. Paragon City contains the Terra Volta reactor, which at least powers Paragon City even despite the constant attack from supervillains. PC is explicitly in Rhode Island, and sort-of-ish a replacement for Providence. Considering game precedent and Neuron's intelligence, I don't think you can make that assumption about the location of Neuropolis.

Edge of Chaos is not required for the Atlas Park Beacon Badge.

I can't do roleplay without inflection, and I have trouble without body language. When I'm away, I often participate in tabletop sessions with my friends back home using VoIP, and I simply can't RP via text chat. But for me, running as the opposite gender isn't so bad. Just remember it's all pretendy fun time games, and if it makes you uncomfortable don't get into any R-rated situations.

Roleplaying the opposite gender can also be quite fun as an avenue to break stereotypes using an alternate perspective (your own), or it can be a cathartic release with an extreme caricature of the gender.

  18. Speaking as a primarily squishy player, my main beef with 100% DR is that it also means 100% resistance to damage debuff and 100% resistance to resistance debuff. Not only does it shut out dps, but it shuts out two of the four main debuff types, too.

On the other hand, I've got no beef with NPCs using godmode powers which bring them up to 90% or even 95% DR. Anything less than 100% is beatable. (I also don't mind special encounters which make an opponent invincible under certain conditions, such as the force field over the Hydra's head, or Ajax's invulnerability.)

Team Teleport doesn't pick up pseudopets. On the other hand, if you see your designated Team Teleporter start the TT animation, you can hit Trip Mine and the pseudopet will be spawned just as you reach your destination. On the Traps superteam, we made great use of this to make 7 Trip Mines explode at once in the middle of a spawn.
  20. It's interesting. I'm not sure it's really useful for an at-a-glance summary, though, since the area of the shape is determined more by the distribution of spokes scored than the value. For example, Traps and Poison seem terrible if you just glance at the area, but anyone who plays these sets knows otherwise. Sonic Resonance seems to be pretty great all around, and while it's a good set it's pretty much a two-trick pony (+/- res).

Even if you're invisible to the enemies, Trip Mine is a much better use of your time and endurance than Time Bomb is.

What are you talking about? Trip Mine already is awesome. Time Bomb is a waste of space, Detonator can be useful if you like micromanaging henchmen, and Triage Beacon is occasionally of questionable worth in the 40+ game (but a very useful power earlier). But the rest of Traps, including Trip Mine, is exceptional. If you build up defense (and FFG helps there), Trip Mine can even be a mini-nuke during combat. (Admittedly, Trip Mine during combat is more useful for /Traps MMs, whose main dps comes in the form of autonomous pets.)
