Aha!
So...looks like the screenshots'll be about...
Wait, just what the heck is pacific time?
Okay... according to the OP, Eastern Standard Time in North America is 3 hours ahead of Pacific time, meaning that Pacific time is 8 hours behind GMT/UTC since EST(NA) is already 5 hours behind GMT/UTC...
Eastern Standard Time in Australia is 10 hours ahead of GMT/UTC so that means...
...The east coast of Australia is 18 hours ahead of Pacific time...
It's daylight savings at the moment, so...
...carry the one...
5.45 pm Saturday the 1st of December?
Anyway! I hope to be there. -
One of my personal goals before the lights fade was to get the 'Army of Me' badge.
I guess another item on the CoX bucket list would be to take part in a Hamidon raid if you haven't already.
I'd recommend confusing a Longbow spines scrapper boss without aggroing the rest of the spawn at some point, but that's mostly for fun. -
Fortunata Helmets.
How do they work? Technically speaking.
- Is there a tiny slit where the top portion joins the bottom part of the helmet at eye level?
- Is it just an armoured blindfold and the fortunata uses their psychic senses to 'see'?
- Is it chock-full of Arachnos technology that enhances the fortunata's powers?
- Does it have a Heads-Up Display in there like Ironman's suit and sensors on the outside?
- Options B through D?
- Something which I haven't considered?
I only just realised that I may never find out! Screw the Coming Storm, Bastion and the real reason Paramount Studios nixed the live-action Ascendant film; I want to know the truth about the fortunata helmet! -
I've got a couple of bugs, nothing too incredible but they were important to me as I encountered them myself.
Firstly, does anyone remember at one time, the texture for 'flack jacket' would sometimes turn transparent? I used it for one character, deleted them then cursed my mistake when the texture was fixed a week or two later.
Another one wasn't a bug so much as a quirk during the Halloween Event with an activateable door being placed in a location instead of just a texture of a door.
And the last personal bug...well, not so much a bug... I think it was just my computer slowly chugging away after alt-tabbing but...
-
I'd really rather get all the xxxp that I can while there's still time.

Apparently people're planning on using it as a homebase after City of Heroes is gone. -
There're a few possibilities for MMOs.
- I tried out Rift for a while I was on a break from City of Heroes and that was sort of decent enough.
- Couple of people left CoH for The Secret War a while back and while I'm not sure my computer can handle it, I was interested in it during development and it seems like a good alternative.
- I could always settle for second best and try Champions Online or DC Universe Online, the other two superhero MMOs which failed to take the crown from City of Heroes.
- Or just settle back to single-player games and multiplayer action games like Team Fortress 2.
Though I think it'll have to be another MMO. Other types of games either don't leave me with any significant sense of growth/progress or I don't get any sense of community or effective social interaction. -
My first and oldest character Fenrisulfr, during his escape from the old 'Breakout' tutorial. Virtue Server
I ended up taking off the shoulderpads and remove the tree from his chest.
(It was supposed to represent Yggdrasil and Fenrisulfr's desire to destroy the world. He outgrew that stage of supervillainy early on when he realised just how hard it would be.) -
Greatest moment?
Roleplaying a bit during the old Outbreak tutorial and having someone I teamed with ask me if I was an npc. -
I don't know about booze but I'm going to be tired tomorrow.
Listening to music. -
I've been doing some thinking and I think I'll either go with Rift, see if my computer can handle the Secret World or just switch to single-player mode for a while and catch up on some of my Steam games that I got on sale and haven't yet played.
-
I played Rift a while ago and enjoyed it until I couldn't resist City of Heroes' siren call.
...Heh.
Ironic that.
I guess if nothing else, I might go back to Rift.
Of the other options, the rest are either too high-performance or require too high a commitment.
Or are just not up to my expectations. -
I'm actually tearing up a bit.
Okay. A lot.
Like so many people throughout history I took what I had for granted.
And now it's going.
Thanks.
That's not a bitter thanks. That's a heartfelt thanks to the people I played and roleplayed with over the years. -
I've actually been working on a build in Mid's myself.
Coincidentally, it's almost entirely humanform as you mentioned you liked.
For Incarnates go I figured on getting Cardiac Core for the range and to help with the endurance, Reactive Radial Interface for the damage procs, Ion Core Judgement, Rebirth Core Radial for the heal and maybe the Carnival Radial Superior for Forge?
Damage could be better so if the endurance doesn't turn out too harmful you could likely swap into Intuition Radial Superior or maybe even Musculature Core Paragon.

Best part is, you could use Warburg for Vigilante vs Hero and Rogue vs Villain events.
-
I do recall someone regularly hosts a ... Slam-bam Rikti Slam? event on Sunday evenings, (USEastern time.)
Maybe 6pm'ish USEastern?
Can't say for sure. But they're usually announced in one of the Virtue global channels as well as LFG. -
Various trade-offs between emotional attachment, how fun they are to play, level and time played.
In pretty much that order of priority. -
Nothing leaps to mind for a connected pair of names with similar meaning.
There are a few other individual names; Kitchen Sink, Nine Yards and Enchilada but ... no paired names that I can think of... -
So disappointed I missed the red-side briefing.
Didn't realise it was Eastern Daylight Time as opposed to Eastern Standard Time.
Fortunata Prelude managed to get into things for Siren's Call and the bit of talk at the end but...dang it.
I missed the best part, methinks. -
Just to check... things started an hour and ten minutes before this post, right?
-
Yeah...probably any of my characters.
Necrobiologist and Fortunata Prelude are likely to be my main two. -
Longbow Spines Warden.
Confuse.
Enjoy.
Also set up one vs one matches between Longbow Wardens.
Used Mass Confuse or a similar ability on a high-level spawn of Talons of Vengeance and watching them obliterate each other in a manner of seconds with their aoe abilities.
Used confuse in Siren's Call on NPC battle spawns.
Used confuse anywhere.
Used confuse nowhere.
Worked out how to use confuse nowhere. -
Well lemme see...
I know there's the Virtue Global Channels Info Thread - 2009.
I'm reasonably sure that, despite the 2009 in the thread name, it's got current info.
Regardless, I'll mention the global channels I'm using at the moment:
VirtueUnited - General chat and one of the most populated channels...that I'm aware of.
Virtue LFG Beta - Teaming, trials, strike/task forces, etc. A lot of crossing over with Virtue TFs.
Virtue TFs - Trials, strike/task forces. A lot of crossing over with LFG Beta.
RP Virtue - Roleplay associated and some general chat.
Virtue CoX - ...Don't quite remember what the thing is about this one. Mostly the occasional trial, task/strike force not mentioned on TFs or LFG Beta.
Edit: OH! And I forgot to say welcome to Virtue.
...welcome to Virtue. -
I...may've already added it to my list of bookmarked webcomics.
-
Very nice read so far.
It seems much like what I do, except more so.
Clearly if I want to make more money on my characters, I need to sell more enhancements.
After writing the above sentence I facepalmed.
