Fortunata Helmets.

How do they work? Technically speaking.

  • Is there a tiny slit where the top portion joins the bottom part of the helmet at eye level?
  • Is it just an armoured blindfold and the fortunata uses their psychic senses to 'see'?
  • Is it chock-full of Arachnos technology that enhances the fortunata's powers?
  • Does it have a Heads-Up Display in there like Ironman's suit and sensors on the outside?
  • Options B through D?
  • Something which I haven't considered?



I only just realised that I may never find out! Screw the Coming Storm, Bastion and the real reason Paramount Studios nixed the live-action Ascendant film; I want to know the truth about the fortunata helmet!

If you mean the Widow helmets...

Those from the pre-order CoV boxed set or Tier 6 Rewards choice can only be worn by Female body types and are under Special Helmets in the Head category.

Those in the Arachnos Widow class special costume slot can be worn by any body type (Male, Female, Huge) and can be selected in the top choice as "Widow & Helm".

I think the OP was wondering how the villain sees through it and if there is any technical inside display for that purpose...perhaps the material is a very special fabric that is like a two-way mirror. They can see out, but no one can see in.

It looks to be a fair bit wider than that
No it looks to be a gap you can look through although the fortunata may be using alternate means to enhance this
I don't think there's any tech involved - psychic enhancement of the candidate very possibly but I never got the impression the helms enhance them.
HUD - again I very much doubt it.
B? D? I don't see any labelling of the options
Something - possibly but as I said I doubt if it is anything to do with the helm itself.
