Today's youth, no appreciation for the classics.

And the great thing about that line is it didn't come from Castle or Beckett but from Ryan.
-
Not that I followed those two all that closely but I thought they had broken up.
-
And it appears to be a one shot, the showing of these episodes. I'm curious to see where it goes.

I hardly consider 226 reviews to be a tiny cross section unless you are thinking that any blogger with more than 2 followers should be counted as a critic.
Also the comic's creator worked closely with the director and the screen writer while the movie was going through it's long, drawn out (4-5 years?) preproduction. Actually some of the elements and dialog from the finished screen play made it's way back into the comic. -
I think they should have burned the quiter's torches right then and there the night they quit. Kick em off the jury, freeze them out of the reunion show.
Heck I would put a quiting clause in their contract saying they can be sued by the show for damaging the season.
They don't even get a copy of the home game.

Paraphrase:
"I think we need a codeword so we know which Beckett to kill when the clone uprising starts."
Also Beckett's spit take was good. -

Oh poo, we lose another.

Good luck with whatever you are going to do.

Soon after I18 came out my level 50 main brawled a group of level 20 Freakshow on Talos and got a tip mission.

The first pass at the screenplay was done when the comic was only half done. Sure they had outlines to work from but as the movie went further on, the less polished original material they had to base it off of. I think that's why the first half of the movie clicks and then meanders as more of it was based off of outlines and notes.

Yea the conspiracy nuts are already on it. They claim it's some new e-mag weapon.

Welcome.
Obligatory ParagonWiki is your friend. Information from general to minutia.
As for voice ingame when playing, I've never been on a team where voice was required or even recommended.
/hc is the help channel, it is server wide. /b is zone wide broadcast. Also take a look at this thread for the Mentor Project. They have a global channel you can join. -
Quote:First, the words laptop, inexpensive and Ultramode are nearly mutually exclusive.I could use some suggestions. I have to replace my laptop, and I don't have much money to spend on it. But I'd like to improve my COH experience and get rid of my constant disconnects. Maybe play Star Trek Online too. My little laptop is about 3-4 years old with something called an Intel Extreme Grapahics 2 (integrated, I think but I dont really know). Yeah, I got what I could afford at the time in desperation.
I'm hoping to play at least somewhat in UM, but it doesn't have to be ALL the bells and whistles...I'm sure it wont take much to improve on what I have. But I wnat to do my best for probably under $1K (hey, its what I can afford).
The sales going on now have alot of systems with Radeon 5650 boards. From what I'm reading on here, and that nice list that was made, this wont let me run ALL the UM goodies, but I can run it at above "minimum." and may be ok, considering I won't even try it on my current laptop. What performance I'm looking for...well, I can't currently play in large teams since my screen freezes up. Need to avoid Ritki invasions too. I'd like to be able to do those things so I can join task forces. I'm looking at this HP Pavillion dvt7 with a Radeon 5650 (they try to sell it wiht a 5470--how's that gonna work?) I find it really annoying of these companies to lable everthing "serious super computing power" or some such, even the lowest end products.
Second, a laptop graphics "card" with the same designation as a desktop one is considerably less powerful. Example, the laptop version of the HD 5870 falls between the desktop HD 5750 and 5770 in performance.
The 5650 you are looking at is less powerful than a desktop HD 5570, which is far below the minimum for Ultramode but should give you excellent performance otherwise, at least compared to Intel integrated video.
Third, manufacturers have similarly named models, each a little different, just as there could be dozens of variations of a Toyota Corolla, besides color. So I'm not surprised if there are multiple HP DVT7 models with different graphics. -
I agree with je_saist. PC means Personal Computer and since the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone can run user installable applications, they are personal computers in my book. Same goes with Android devices. Heck I considered my Visor (Palm clone) back in the late 90's a computer. It was as powerful as my first 80286 desktop from a decade earlier.
That said there is still a huge difference between those and a proper laptop or desktop. -
There should be an alert message when they pop in, like giant monsters, zombies or rikti, so anyone who wants to hang can wander over to that zone.

Don't click on the glowies in the Terra Volta respec trial.

Go into options and look for the tool tips option and make sure it's on. General Options tab, scroll down to Miscellaneous section.

It's not even a card, that's the integrated graphics found on nForce 4 motherboard chipset. The 6200 card looks buff in comparison.

6GB because Dell has a warehouse full of 1GB sticks they need to unload and 4GB (as 4x1GB) would tick people off.
Also it's relatively cheap to do but seems premium to the average user.
Also possible due to Intel i7-9xx CPU models come in 6 or 12GB from other manufacturers.

Obligatory: ParagonWiki is your friend. Excellent resource if you want to read up first.
I concur with what others have said before me. If you want melee a Scrapper or Brute are the damage dealers, Tanks do less damage but are, well, tanks. Take a lickin' keep on tickin' characters. If you rather attack at range Blasters, Defenders and Corruptors are reasonable choices.
Also each archetype have their own special inherent ability. Scrappers have a chance to do double damage. Brutes get an ever increasing damage bonus as long as they are attacking or are being attacked (SMASH!). Corruptors have an increasing chance to do double damage as the target's HP decrease. Tanks aggro targets easily. So read up on them.
And welcome aboard. -
But that's the thing, only you can determine what's an acceptable tradeoff between pretty and frame rate.
For instance for me, I seriously dislike depth of field, so I keep it off giving me a little extra frame rate that I could try to spend on bumping water up a notch or increase World Detail a bit. But it's your call. Some people don't mind if the frame rate drops below 20, others would get upset if it drops below 45.
I do know that World Detail, more so now when you have UM turned on, can seriously affect frame rate. Before UM it was just the maximum draw distance and on a decent video card many people were able to turn it up to 200%. However UM now uses the same setting to determine which objects cast shadows and are reflected in water. So with UM I know that I had to turn it back down to 100%, less in some zones.
Again, with the variety of CPU and Video Cards configurations as well as what frame rate you find acceptable, it's difficult to put together a performance guild on the subject. -
Yes, the graphics is sad. Not as sad as a system with integrated graphics but the HD 5450 is more suited for a quiet home theater system where playing back Blu-ray and DVDs without stressing a low end CPU than serious 3D gaming. I would say the HD 5770 is the minimum (they also offer the HD 5670) if you want to scope out the Ultramode settings.
Memory is fine. But do you really need Blu-ray (understandable option if you tend to watch movies on your PC)? -
They kind of look like the robots from the I, Robot movie with Will Smith. But they are sparking and jerking about.
