While I admire the Jay and David Nakayama for their resolve to please their fan base, I can't get over how the simple inclusion of a single Tail was enough to change that fan base from angry protesters into adoring fans. We are all so delightfully dramatic sometimes.
I'm thankful for the dev interaction however i would have loved to see a complete tweakable set(mentioned alot) over one tail addition! Dont get me wrong ill buy a beast booster pack(still would love to see alot of free stuffs again) but a tail tossed in is like buying a car and getting a free toaster.

Seriously though, it's the MF speed boost in one (or more, I forget) of the buffs, some people seem to have issues with controlling the character afterward. It's another form of Ye Olde Speed Boost debate.
...i dont like the little purple buff symbols it wrecks my costume and breaks my RP experience!

I had 220 merits(took me months and months to gather) which wasnt enough for the Numina i was eyeing so i rolled them 35-39 range...third roll was the Numina...kept rolling and about 1/3 had some gem's...1/3 stuff wasnt to shabby...last third got vendor'd(way to many for sale and no bidders)

I can see/hear it so clearly sung by none other than Veruca Salt "I want buff click... i want a buffest...i want a buff click for all of the buffs... the mystic the speed boost and all the shields buffs and if i dont get it now im going to scream!!! ...I want the buff click for all of the pretties except for the clear mind the dev should know that by now or im going to screammmmmm"
come on people yea... lets pull the dev's off of important game changing stuffs(see GR) and have them fix a minor annoyance...learn to play and control or toons...or maybe after GR they can add a "how to control your toons with buffs section to the tutorial

Shield Melee is never going to happen.
The most obvious reason is that it would lock you into ONE powerset combo, and the devs are never going to add a set that can only be used with one other set.
And if they let you take something besides Shield Defense for a secondary it would just be stupid. You have a shield that you hit people with....but you don't use it to protect yourself?

For the record im not a shield melee fanboi...id rather see street fighting with headbutts and some throws/grapples mixed in...or chain/whip melee...or better yet continue to port more melee sets around via power prolification mmm

Adding merits in the first place "told people how they should play the game", i/e relentlessly grind certain TFs that reward merits efficiently.
Players like myself who don't have the time for that sort of gameplay were cut completely out of the system.
The real solution for merits is to delete them from the game, but alas that'll never happen. -

I'm confused (and maybe I missed it scanning the posts).
What is wrong with the MF buffs? They are lite on the gfx and for the most part are a minor adjustment at best.

Altoholic here...however i like to use a small amount of humor and manners on team...with a slight dark edge to it I also have a some great friends in-game and like to remind them of that from time to time...omg im emo-ing again ack!

I will say the game is getting better and better each day and so does the player base...besides the game and boards helps keep me young!!! -

... as for me i'm trying to like the new interface...however i really didnt have much of an issue with the old one except for the lag(me thinks time/influ synch tool).
I do expect some minor/moderate tweaks in the near future! -
