Thanks for your feedback. I have decided to roll Elec/Dark Melee, since I cant find a secondary I like for WP. That said, a WP/Staff tank is in sight
In the end, im rolling both, IOing both, and see whcih one I like the most :P
That said...I changed a bit the Elec/Dark build. Care to throw some feedback, please? Thanks!
The empty in Shadow Punch is the proc. Positrons blast gets 4x tanker set for the recharge bonus
Currently sitting at 44.3 S/L, 38.7 E/N. I tried to grasp a few +hp bonuses aswell

Specially for trials and high level TFs?
I would pair ElA with Dark Melee, for the heal. Not sure if the same pairing would be that great for WP, tho -

Agree. Never skip FS. Slot it for tohit debuff and you will have a great alpha eater for every spawn. Most of the mobs will not attack back, and those who do, will have over 20% debuff if sloted for it

My Dark/Dark troller has the following:
4x siphon insight in Fearsome Stare. Would love to put 2 more slots here but i cant spare them
4x Dark watcher in Darkest night
6x Expedient Reinforcement in Haunt
6x Blood Mandate in Umbra
6x Cloud Senses in Dark Servant (even if you slot it different, the CS proc is a must here. Will proc out of anything)

So..Ive usually played squishy types (corrs, defenders, controllers, mm...) Every time I started a tank it got forgotten in the late teens/early 20s.. But I really want a really sturdy character. Im tired of being red everytime something hits me (they dont usually manage to do that, thats true
) I want to go to any iTrial and be the man in the front, taking the hits for the league.
Ive playing with MIDs. Im almost decided on /Dark Melee. A self Heal every few seconds + end management seems rather great. Ive tried building an invul build and an Elec build. I must say, I thought invul was more...resilient. I got more defense on invul, but resists+defenses seems much more balanced on Elec. I aslo tested a WP (someone told me they make great tanks) but im unsure of how it will manage when facing a single or just 2 mobs.
I will be posting the builds at the end. What I want to ask from you is some feedback, either in any of the builds, or in the primary set selection. Im not that great with Mids so im sure they can be greatly improved. The blank IO in Shadow Punch is for the ATO proc. As you will see, all the build are pretty similar :S
As for the Alpha, Iw as thinking in ether Resilient or Cardiac for Elec/inv, or Vigor for WP

Saltyhero, you are probably right, I forgot about it. I finished levelling and sloting, and the end cons is still a bit high, but consume and SA seems to be enough. Will start iTiraling today, lets see how it goes -

Im putting damage on it. Probably Ragnarok+posi proc. Otherwise, Posi set + cloud senses proc (or trap of the hunter proc)

My Dark troller is almost 43, levelling at great pace by spamming TFs. Im unsure about what Alpha to take.
Musculature is the only one which boosts tohit debuffs. Also, getting more damage is always sexy. On the other hand, in long battles or battles with loads of AoE Im end hungry, specially if I have to keep Darkest Night up. Not sure if Consume/Dark Consuption and proper slotting will fix this, so Im also considering Cardiac.
I could go Ageless and Musculature but I really want Clarion. I HATE being mezzed
What would you do? -
I was using the same macro (releasepets) that I use on my MM, but that only dismiss Umbra Beast and not the haunts. Is there any other ocmmand I can use for it?

I dont. I dont like people who think their opinion is the only one valid. I agree that ST inmob is a good source of ST damage. ST damage should not be a controller focus. You have a lot of good other stuff. Skipping AoE inmob/stun/hold in order to get the ST inmob? Not in any of my trollers. The portions of the game where the ST inmob is more useful than any other power are minimal

The AoE Immobilize can be respecced out of later if you NEED an open slot.
The AoE Hold in Dark Control is skippable garbage.
Haunt is alright. Depends on your secondary.
I wouldn't skip anything else in Darkness Control.
As for Darkness Affinity? Fade is garbage right now until it's update. Soul Absorption is garbage until it's update. Black Hole is garbage period.
When Fade and Soul Absorption are updated, Fade is a great power and Soul Absorption is possibly skippable but it's serviceable.
So, TL;DR - Skip Black Hole and Shadow Field or whatever the AoE Hold is, because it sucks.
You may choose to drop the AoE Immobilize (Because Heart of Darkness sets up your AoE Containment anyway), or keep it for AoE Damage. I'd keep it, really.
You can drop Haunt if your secondary isn't heavy debuffing or damage buffing, as Haunt is pretty lackluster but it has a bit of a purpose on Controllers for doing SOME damage.
Im getting a lot from Both AoE stun and AoE hold. Dont be so drastic. IOts probably one of the better aoe holds out there
I plan on skipping Shadow Binds (ST inmob), and Black Hole. If needed, Ill skip Soul Absoprtion and Fade (in that order) if I need the slots -
The only lifetime sub that was worth is the Lotro one. And not anymore
