I'd like to purchase the Unbounded Leap:Stealth enhancement recipe using two hero merits from Fort Trident. However, I'd like to buy the level 15 version, rather than the level 50 version (I'm not level 50, and I want it to exemplar better).
How do I do this? It seems to be offering me the level 50 version, but I don't want that one. -
Thank you. I'd looked at City of Data, and they don't have the information:
http://tomax.cohtitan.com/data/power...lass_Corruptor
It only lists one value for defense, 2.125%. It doesn't give two, and doesn't clarify whether that value is before or after being seen. -
I'm trying to find out what the defense bonus is for Stealth when I have been seen. I can't seem to find the information anywhere.
-
Hi everyone,
I just hit level 26, and I'm confused about Carrion Creepers. It's a lot of fun.
Sometimes, it seems to follow me for a while after I first cast it.
How do I know when it's following me? I can't see it at all. Also, what makes it stop following me? Does it die? Or is it on a timer or something? -
I'm currently trying to choose my rewards on tier 8, but I'm having trouble finding information about what the rewards mean. Is there a page somewhere that explains what, for example, "Prestige Booster Temporary Power" means?
-
Ah, phew! I was worried there for a minute
.
Thank you for all your help. -
I have 31 points. 15 spent, and another 16 unspent.
-
But...I only need 6 more points. That can't be $300 can it?
-
Okay, thanks. It looks like all of my questions were answered
. I had started responding to the first post when the other two answers came.
What is the cheapest way to get more points? I want to be sure to get fire/ice before it expires (also, when does it expire?). -
Okay, I think I get it. So, I need to completely fill each tier, correct?
Can I skip regular "Tier 9" and just get "VIP Tier 9"? I'm a VIP player.
All in all, then, it looks like I need 25 points. Where can I get more? -
I've got 16 paragon rewards points, and I've automatically spent 15 from being a veteran. So, I'm up to level 6.
I want to get the new costumes, especially the fire/ice costumes. There are all these little circles, with arrows, but not every circle has a little arrow going to it (or are they triangles?).
What do I do here? I can't find any information anywhere. How many do I need to purchase of each tier? Can I skip tiers? I just don't get it at all. -
I'm putting together some theorycrafting on attack chains, but I realized I wasn't sure when the cooldown starts on abilities. Is it at the beginning of the animation or the end?
For example, if an ability has a 3 second cast time and a 10 second cooldown, are there 10 seconds or 7 seconds between the two animations? -
I've just gotten to the point where I need to dip into my power pools on my new dominator, but I'm a little puzzled about which pools to use.
I've looked at a lot of the various builds people have put up, and I noticed that people seem to take powers from very different pools (except hasten - everyone seems to take that).
So, I was wondering what pools people recommend for a dominator and why. I've seen a lot of steath, a lot of fighting, a lot of leadership, and the occasional hover and CJ (which I assume is partly to mule LotG).
My own dominator is plant/earth, but I'm really interested in this question for any of my future builds. -
I'm trying to make up my mind between a Water/Storm Corruptor and a Storm/Water Defender.
Do Defender abilities do more damage as a corruptor or a defender? What I mean is, for abilities like Lightning Storm, do Defenders do more damage because it's their primary or do Corruptors do more damage because they're corruptors?
I'm leaning toward defender, but any help would be appreciated. -
Thank you for the amazing guide. I just started playing CoH after a year, and water/cold seemed like a great idea. This guide is more than I could have asked for.
-
I'm a little confused about the Paragon Market. I've played CoH for about 7 years, and I bought a bunch of the old costume packs.
However, the market is trying to sell me the packs that I already have. This doesn't make any sense to me. I bought the magic pack, so why is it trying to sell me magician equipment?
Also, I already purchased the Steampunk costume bundle from the Paragon Market, but it's still available to buy. Is there anywhere I can check which items I've already purchased?
Incidentally, if I buy the Roman costumes, what happens? I already have access to these on one of my higher level characters. Does this mean that I can now use the costumes at character creation? -
I'm just coming back after a long break, so I've got some new powers to pick. This is what I've put together, and I'd appreciate any suggestions:

Thank you very much. I think I understand. Basically, it sounds like the weird aggro only will happen if I use Flash Arrow before we aggro the spawn. If I use it after the fight begins, it's just like any other debuff. Is that correct?
As for its efficacy, yes, it's not amazing, but one of the things I like about TA is that it seems to have so many different smaller debuffs. -
I was reading up on Flash Arrow for my new TA/A defender, and there were a lot of different opinions about it.
I like the debuff. As a usual tanker (I have two 50's), I understand why it's powerful.
However, my concern is the aggro bug that some people seem to have found with it, saying that they immediately aggroed, even right from a tanker who had just taunted.
Is this bug still around? Is this arrow worth taking? I'm interested in gathering some opinions. -
I'm usually fine with longbow, but every once in a while, they completely faceplant me, almost instantly.
My theory is that it's certain wardens, but I can't figure out which ones.
I'm shield/stone level 50, running +0/x8 -
If you don't want to take build up (or waste three slots), you can also use Sirocco's for AoE, Obliteration for Melee and Mako's for Ranged.
