To me it seems they have created at lot of extra hardwork defining what some should have and some not, even down to coding lvl in implementing.
Remember, essentially we are still only playing TWO games plus one expansion but get access to all 3 for the same monthly cost

But indeed, the sewers are pretty good for the teaming, imho a bad thing since you kill the entire low-lvl zone in the blue and redzones (even for future characters, if GR is easier/faster, u would rather make your toon there and eventualy move it to red/blue side - pretty sure about this as GR 'world' is way smaller then the whole content of 1-20 in CoH).
Totally agree with you, think thats one of the main reasons why the percentage of pure buffers/debuffs in the NA is a LOT larger than the EU side.
You just have to build a character in which you know can solo over here, a big shame from the old days but suppose all we can do is wait and see what this does to our numbers next week up to a month

- Heroes and villains traded differently. It's true! They actually had seperate markets i tell ya!
- You would get kicked for clicking on the team leaders glowie . . . .

To be fair though, how many people blueside purely do the sewer run up to lvl 8ish and then start to team? To get a team to do actual missions low level [both EU and NA] is really quite hard to be honest i found.
So far in praetoria though, there is yes the new tunnels which are even better to get from 1 - 20 however so far everybody has LOVED doing the missions there and can see praetoria saving low level teaming.
Once it goes live, the first characters im going to make are my tester characters which i have fallen in love with!

There are a few threads already about it here in the lounge
Basically there will be a brand new supergroup on each server, 1 on each hero/villain side. All linked together via a global channel.
The plan is to get players having all different alts in each of the servers and to have the channel to organise "cross server" teaming as such. True you wont be able to use character A on Server A with character A on server B, but by using this method of a truely global supergroup/channel we can actually make teaming as close to multi server as we [as players] can get to.
The thread "Europe United" explains it much better than i did but lets use an example in which i will find myself in once this happens.
Once GR/i18 launches i will have new alts on each server. Now with the channel up i will be able to recruit for teams on the server im currently on/join one or even log on to the other servers if theres already teams forming there.

It really is a simple context, and obviously quite a few people will like to stick to their own server which is fair enough and welcomed. But by having both supergroups and villaingroups on all servers, you've always got a home whereever you go and can talk to everybody who joins on every server
Potentially you could go from potentially teaming with 200+ people on one server to 6/700 + people in total
Like i said though, the other thread makes more sense of it

Either way, it'll make the game SEEM different

I'm relaxed as to which server. Union is my home so I've got most of my alts there but I can probably make some space. It's the participation that counts to I'll go wherever. A hero and villain group would also be a grand idea so that we can team on both sides. I already alt a lot as it is, so it shouldn't be too hard to limit myself to one for each side.
As for names, all of the ones suggested sound good to me although using European Union ideas would allow us to use the Euro flag as an emblem.
I'm still not sure how SGs/VGs are going to work with GR so I'm not sure when we can join them with Praetorian characters. But the channel should be a good tool for us to keep in contact. I'll apologise in advance for my limited French and even more limited German.

One thing i did mention on there was the potential that this idea has. By this being a cross server idea, we could go from having that feeling of being just on the one server and playing with between 100 - 200 players roughly [depending on server] to going to being in constant communication with up to 600 [as current live numbers stand] players! Im really excited about that personally! -
Hello there everybody! It's me, your local noob damz As most of you know, my french is limited to the basic and translation websites make things even worse to understand so sorry if you get offended from me posting in only english
Reason im here is that when Going Rogue launches in 8 days we want to bring the entire EU community back together and get rid of the feeling of having 4 seperate servers. The plan is to have brand new european supergroup/villaingroups on all of the servers with each one linked via one global channel purely to tie in with the GR expansion.
At the moment, the plan is to have them on both union and defiant and also your server as well. Want to try and get the feeling that any player [no matter what language they speak] could log on to any server and instantly find a team Now i personally will be playing on Union/defiant and your server full time once this hits live.
The benefits of doing this is quite obvious i believe. Majority of us play purely for the teaming aspect of the game and i feel that with a multi server channel/supergroup/villaingroup, we can just advertise . . .
- Level 5 team recruiting [Defiant > praetoria] as an example.
- Costume contest on Vigilance [prize money sent to global so can use on whatever server]
- CoP on Union happening in 30 minutes

Being from union i'ld obviously prefer union. However since this will be a European sg i would certainly like to have an alt in Union, Defiant and Vigilance. 3 servers will be enough to keep me busy [I just want to team with people like Beber again on the french server! Watch out im "going rogue" as they say ]
Allignment:
I dont see how we cant have one on each side really. We have players who prefer each side of the game and if each supergroup/villaingroup are able to run side by side with an open door policy of automatically inviting a rogue hero/villain to their group, then i cant see either one failing in the slightest.
Name:
For the hero side i really like the name of Europe United We have the stars pattern which you could say looks a BIT like the EU flag too.
Villain group i like the "not dead yet" name or the European black sheep.
AT limits:
Personally i think each member of the supergroup should be allowed the following:
- Their main hero/villain in the group if desired.
- 2 praetorian characters
- A 60 day kicked limit. However when betas/new issues are released and more players play on the test server than live, should be increased to 90 days. If a player gives notice of not being able to log in during that time due to personal/real life issues but wants to remain in the group then make a note of who it is and if its within a reasonable timeframe, then allow it obviously Unless its like a 2 year timeframe!
- Regular events/competitions. There are quite a few things EU side that we dont do nowhere near enough due to a lack of communication between players. I know sals/UTF/UC/defiant events [only ones i know of sorry!] are some of the best event channels out there but hopefully this will get more people involved. Hopefully some new players and people we've all never teamed with before too
Like i said in the other thread though [sorry havent been posting much at all lately!], i'll be playing on the 3 servers and will gladly play both sides since i can now play the ATs i want redside and can try out some redside villains blueside
Once this is sorted though i think there should be an official thread for it here in the EU lounge to shout out any events/recruits etc. -
