    Fixed Rewards?

    Fixed? REALLY?

Nothing but uncommons every run after todays patch! This is on my high damage high " PARTICIPATION " scrapper.

Jumped on my tank for a few runs got a 10 threads and a common.

Tried my emp def that I never got anything higher than an uncommon and got 10 threads and then 10 threads again on the next run.

    Yup its fixed alright!

    Your friend,

I sent you a PM GI, if you are on freedom we can knock out anti in about 30 secs.

  7. Freedom server ITF just crashed, got " Lost connection to server " every 2 seconds.

    What Happened?

Ok I managed to get back in ( server went down ) but the rubberbanding is insane, activating powers has a delay or does not fire at all. Perez Park water looks like a big mud pit can't see any water at all there but I can hear water when I run through it.

All other zones look fine even the water. I tried many toons in all zones and the rubberbanding is the biggest game breaker for me.

    What Happened?

I get home download the patch, get ingame for 5 mins and then LCTM. Now I can't even login to any server let alone login at all. The login screen just sits there untill it crashes.

The game ran fine yesterday with more lag than normal but ok.

All my drivers are up to date, I do have the intel chipset but how can it run fine yesterday and now I can't even get ingame?

    WTF?

Sometimes we scientists get a bad rap. We almost always fly off the handle and begin to plot how to dominate the world. Not that I would ever do that, but I hear it's the thing to do sometimes when you're bored. In FemFury's arc, "Escalation", Dr. Lashion is a super villain who can jump back and forth between bodies. Sounds pretty handy, I'd think. She'll be your antagonist for this story, which is a great exploration in earning yourself a nemesis. It starts simple, but then... escalates to something much more intense. Ho ho! I made a pun!

Escalation is a terrific arc with a solid story that will make you feel heroic, going from the start of having a nemesis right to the very end, while also making it personal and specific to your own hero. The gameplay is balanced and the enemies are enjoyable to fight, yet not too difficult. You'll fight Dr. Lashion multiple times, but FemFury has done a good job of not making it turn into a chore - each time you fight her is unique and interesting.

So give this arc a try! It's the latest addition to our Dev Choice gallery. Congratulations FemFury!

I loved this arc, it was great fun and a nice challenge. This is the perfect type of arc to get people back into AE but there is a big problem with risk vs reward. I ran this on my 50 Scrapper at +4 X4 and only got 1420 tickets for the whole arc ( not worth it ) and only got 3 tickets for 54 minions and 6 for LT's and never got any for bosses.

So I ran it again for drops and got nothing but garbage, now don't get me wrong I reported the comm officer missions and the Hamidon ones because the risk was minimal with tons and tons of reward but now with the nerf bat I think hitting AE way to hard you have great risk with very little reward.

I think its great that Dr Aeon is trying to get people back into AE ( I loved it ) but untill the risk vs reward is looked at again I don't see it happening.

Awesome arc and I highly recommend it!

Hell, BillZBubba's Claws/Super Reflexes kills over twice as fast as me, if I recall. I have a Spines/Dark stalled out at 44 because I somehow just can't get into it. I can't seem to get into other archetypes either, so I don't see myself picking up a Fire/Kin. Maybe I need an Electric Melee/Shield Defense. It might be nice to actually own a farmer for once. How's it for leveling up?

I farm with my DM/SR with my SG mate fire/kin. Set to +2 X8 he locks them down throws FS I hit Soul Drain then Dark Consumption = pile of dead guys only things left standing are the 2 bosses lol

    Its a blast!

Arachnos: Rough. Doable, but rough. Really rough.
Cimerorans: I can't get followup to land enough to be able to hit them, but they can't do much to me either as long as I keep moving and don't let a cascading defense failure occur. If I had a constant tohit buff, I think they'd be pretty easy.
Vanguard: I refuse to discuss this. But I can point to where they hurt me on that doll.

Vanguard are nasty, im gonna go with Bill here and just not talk about it lol I love Council at +4 X8, I will grab 2 groups after hitting each one with Torrent and then find a nice corner to wait for them. Once they have all gathered around its Soul Drain then Scrapper heaven lol
  13. My build does not have lucky, however since you are asking the only power you can skip in SR is Elude. Everyone that has replied speaks the truth ( Im a rebel lol ) take them both.
  14. DM/SR +4 X8 if I want a long mission, +2 X8 for a fast run bosses always on with both. +0 X2 if there is an AV inside.
  15. Take Torrent and slot it with a to-hit debuff that way when they are chasing you around because you are chasing the guy you are kicking all over the place they won't be able to hit you. lol

Teams are gonna hate you if you use that second build.

I'm currently .5 +def(ranged and AoE) from my goal, so it's pretty close. I'm debating whether I should make some further build sacrifices or allow for infinite budget and add the Gladiator's Armor IO to Tough (which would allow me to tweak some other stuff as well). It's pretty close though.
I would love to see it when you get it finished, I have been eyeballing PP fror my next toon, it has great potential.

Update, I picked up 3 of the Dam/Acc HO's last night and then went to bid on the Heal/End ones and there was only one left with one person bidding. The person must be wanting a fortune for it because I even bid 10.000.000 over the last highest bid ( I never do this ) and no sale.

It was getting late so I grabbed a set of Crushing impacts and ill work on Scat some more tonight.

Umbral, you gonna share those tweeks with us or wait untill they have been tested fully? j/k some folks don't like to post their builds.

Ok things I learned I need to change

Get rid of a set of LOTG's ( Doh! lol ) in either evasion or weave and replace with red fortunes.

Shadow Maul is coming out of the attack chain.

Reslot smite with a set of crushing impact for now ( waiting for prices to come down.)

Siphon life gets some shinny new HO's.

I have 4 respec's so ill use one to get the slots moved around and then ill go visit my rooftop dweller and tell her that if she doesn't die that Sergei is going to come calling, maybe she will drop dead on the spot lol ( woot! )

I see other good suggestions on changes but im going to start with these and make more if need be, ill report back tomorrow with the results.

Here's an awesome build that someone (Werner or Umbral, I think) posted not so long ago. It can run the Smite > Siphon Life > Smite > Midnight Grasp chain without any problems (including your endurance!).

Thanks Blue, I like it I was not aware she had so much resistance to negative energy and SL, good to know. I take about 1/3 of her health and then I give up because its gonna take all night, looks like I need to pack a lunch and gitrdone! lol

Has Werner, Umbral or any other DM/SR, DM/WHATEVER had any luck with her or did pretty much run into the same wall I have?

As someone posted in another thread a scrapper must kill kill kill and I will win this one even if it takes all night. lol

You guys are awesome! I forgot about the 5 max, grrr lol

My attack chain is Midnight Grasp - Smite - Siphon Life - Shadow Maul, Soul drain is up about 30 seconds after it drops. I don't have any endurance issues even in really long fights so I use Dark Cobsumption as an AOE of doom.

SL is my only heal and at 279 HP's a pop it comes in real handy. I will make some changes and go have another chat with this lady. lol
