So, the Lambda Trial...

I'm 100% convinced this trial is impossible. Either that or every single league I've been on to run it is completely brain-dead retarded.

I am desperately wanting to actually be able to complete this trial. I've done it over a dozen times... not a SINGLE ONE of those runs were successful. My teammates all end up being stupid, not reading chat, not following directions, nobody knows how to use a freakin' grenade... anything you can imagine that could go wrong has.

If somebody could help me find a team with players who are experienced in this trial, I'd be very appreciative of that. I'm sick of not being able to check this trial off my completion list, and I really want to run it with players who actually know what they're doing. Is there anybody who knows this particular trial well who can help get a good league going?

P.S. This post may seem frustrated. Please note that I posted this right after my umpteenth failed attempt at a Lambda Trial and I'm still pretty peeved about it. I apologize in advance.

Don't use the LFG tab, go to Pocket D and you will surely find an experienced team there who know how it goes.

I never use the LFG tab. I usually stand around pocket D and wait for Lambda teams to announce themselves as LFM. As stated before, none of those attempts have been successful.

I have done about 200+ of both baf and lam...and have failed more Bafs by a huge amount. Only about 3 lams have gone bad, and I didnt really care at the time. I view Lam as a run for xp, with the reward being a bonus.
Helps if someone on the team, doesnt have to be the leader, gives a quick run down on what to do, not every knows. And be specific in saying things like don't aggro teh av until doors are down, etc etc.

If the J-Man can lead them and has never had one fail, I'd say these are very possible with just about any league that listens even half the time. There's 6 stages to the trial. Don't remember them off the top of my head. The hardest thing for people to do seems to be following directions on which door set to go down (labs or warehouse).

I've run quite a few with random people in the D. Most have been successful. I'm surprised you're having so many problems. I thought most people had it figured out by now. Keep at it, you'll get it.

I haven't failed a Lambda on a PUG crew since the first week, when everyone was learning the ropes.

I can go over the trial details online if you want, but I'm sure there's a guide somewhere. I think the sticking point is when you don't drop all the ambush doors, and the team ploughs through with over half of them up while not being optimized. For a non-Master run, I'd take the few minutes to kill all the ambush doors (that means working that cylinder in the NE corner to get more acid grenades 'til all the doors are gone). Once the ambushes are gone, Marauder's a piece of cake for the average team.

Sorry to hear that your wins on this are so bad. I usually run around 9pm-1am EST, and those teams have been 100% successful.

I don't mean to sound vain or know-it-all, but the problem isn't completely on my end. I've failed every time, true, but I know how it goes. I know exactly what must be done when and where... the problem is my teammates are either too stupid or are just ignorant and don't pay attention to directions when given. This is one of those tasks where pretty much everyone has to be on the same page. I've had teams where most people knew what they were doing, but those select few oddballs ruin the whole thing by not throwing the grenades or what-not.

That's why I'm asking for a team of experienced people, because the majority of people I've teamed with have either never done it or just aren't paying attention.

What's really funny is that D seemed full of LAM teams last night. I waited about 15 mins for a BAF to be advertised (no one wanted to do one) before I cashed it in for bed.

Sure, I'll help I'm around from 10pm EDT onward to a bit after midnight. Get more signups for tonight and I'll be there.

I have done like ~10 lam's and only one succeeded.

I can run a Lambda if you are in the pacific time zone, 8 pm - midnite. If you are on during that time, let me know when, and I'll save you a spot.

Sorry to hear that Smash. It sounds like you have run into a streak of very bad luck. The only time I've failed on a Lamb was when we were going for a MoLamb.

@MarvelatMee and @COL Burn

24 - 50s
Too many ALTs

Im on in the evenings untill after midnight eastern time, I have teamed with Turg many times and ill help. I actually like the Lam better than the Baf.

Excuse my ignorance... but other then the AV running out of the front gate into the street how else can you fail the Lambda?

Fail to drop Marauder in the allotted timeframe. If you have people who don't care/don't know how to look up the Pac grenades under Temp Powers, you'll hit the Enraged wall and have to go kill a crate, hope it falls to someone paying attention, then use it.

Ran into that last night, in fact. It was the closest I've been to failing in weeks. We still beat it, but that was wholly a social issue I think, not a skills issue.

Never realized there was a timer.... guess I've been fortunate to have never been on a team not interested in succeeding in the trail.

Guess you've never tried a Master Lambda run? Dropping Marauder without heavy debuffs and high DPS is always a problem for beating a clock. It's usually when he hits Unstoppable a 2nd time that a Master run will fail by going overtime.
