Wherever is your sense of adventure and fair play Virtue Serverites? This may be what they are trying to do or it may be a fun way to encourage people to come out and play this game we all enjoy. Either way..best of luck!

i thought there was a function that restored names to the general public if a toon didn't log in in x amount of days? I remember seeing the warning about it some time ago.

Does Return make sense if most of the planet wishes he would leave? and he did..for a while..inflicting his sense of "team" play on a whole bunch of different MMO's..and then sadly returning to this one via the Virtue server. I always thought that was hilarious considering Virtue is the RP server and I would imagine he hated RP'ers.
Never thought I would have anything in common with an RP'er. The world is a funny place. -
There is no reason not to form your own SG but I would suggest finding an existing SG to coalition with until you get up and running. This will allow you access to their TP's for easier movement around the game and allow you the coalition chat for greater numbers.
Have fun and Take Care -
Thanks Cobalt and Stray Kitten for the response. I was able to get a ftp player into my SG but he was unable to pay the rent. I suppose the easy answer would be to borrow a VIP player who can pay the rent, for those without a VIP player already there, but this seems to be a time consuming and monthly process.

I looked in the forums and I didn't see any specific topic so I thought I might ask it here.
Can FTP players join SG's..I was asked this question the other night and just want to be sure before answering the question.
Thanks. -
Congrats! I see your skill set of killing a forum post is well developed. I don't think I've ever seen a post shorter than this so far.
Seriously though..filling out a form? what are we..RP'ers? -
I do miss a few..
0rgo
Lady Angelheart..although she just jumped ship for Virtue and renamed herself Ample Lass
Undead Cyborg
It seems that the membership is always in flux..we lose a few and then some come and take their place. But lately it seems that people leave and no one takes their place.

One question I would need answered before I move any toons to the new VIP server is what happens SG wise..in that do I need to recreate my SG base and all its little storage spots? or do I need to rebuild the SG and base since that is what needs to be done if I transfer a toon to a new server. Granted I can keep a toon or two on champion and mail myself what I want but that seems too time consuming.
On the F2P front..I would hope to see some of the older players who left due to cost issues try to return if just to team with some of those they left on Champion..Undead Cyborg are your ears burning?

Make sure you check the recipe prices as well as the crafted prices...sometimes you can get more for a recipe then you would as crafted.
But yeah..roughly 400M - 700M sounds right.

My thanks to the experts for providing their opinions. It proves my point on these things..the easiest way to shake the experts out of their trees is to respond to a post and give them something to bash.
Whatever design you end up taking on this project just remember that with the three build option you aren't set in stone. Play style matters as much as build ingame so tweak it to your satisfaction.
Have fun

Generally the average spines/fire scrapper has 4 attacks, Lunge,Barb swipe, Ripper and Burn..along with the two aoe auto attacks Quills and blazing aura. You might find the other attacks you've taken to be unnecessary especially throw spines as the animation time is longer than most and the slots taken up in those powers would be better spent on other options.
This will raise your cost ceiling a bit but I would suggest replacing the multi strikes with obliterations. I've checked the options and your numbers stay close in either case but the oblits have better set bonuses.
To answer the basic questions..can it work..sure. will it work well..remains to be seen.
My build for this AT has lunge and barb swipe six slotted with Mako's and the other 4 powers six slotted with oblits and while the end drain is an issue with the oblits the new incarnate cardiac option does help with that.
If you are truly looking for a speed farmer I think those extra attack powers will only slow you down but I'll defer to those more knowledgeable then myself.
Good Luck! -
Wow Amy,
I never realised until reading your post that you were the model for the Statue of Liberty. hows the phrase go again? Give me your tired, poor, huddled masses yearning for pink ponies?
And as for Horus?..three words...Up the Voltage.

First toon ever was a Fire/Fire Brute called D'arkeh Nesth. I inherited the account from my brother who went to WoW and has never returned so in my case the first toon and the global are different. I retooled this toon into a Kinetic Melee/ nrg armor brute a while back but kept the name.
First hero is a FF/nrg fender called DragonRising, still around but moved to Freedom during the free transfers a while back. I enjoyed the build but it needed teams to flourish and for a while there Teams were in short supply.

One of the nice things about the Alpha slots is you can change out as needed. I slotted Cardiac for end reduction in my Spines/fire scrapper and then went to Cardiac Radial Boost for end red/damage resistance. I need to play it a bit to see what the differences are but the point I am making is that there is no reason not to try more than one alpha option and switch out as needed.

Just a quick suggestion to make things easier on you before getting to lvl 32, use the dual build option to respec your toon. You will need new IO's for the other build but it will give you options on how to set it up and SO's are cheaper and a higher % at lvl 30 as well.
Just a thought. -
Sorry for the mixup..I meant Transfusion.
But thanks for the reply nonetheless. -
Question for those that know.
I am retooling my Fire/Kin..or at least the dual build option of my current lvl 44 toon, and I noticed that Transference has the option of slotting both heal and end mod's in this power. My question is this, If I slot say three heals IO's and three End Mod IO's in this power would I get both health and Endurance refilled when it hits?
Thanks for those that reply. -
One thing I would mention to those having issues with finding mid level recipes is that with the drop of Issue 18, or Going Rogue I never remember which, the markets for Hero's and Villians will combine into one. That will mean all those recipes from the red side will become available to the blue and trust me on this..some of the recipes and salvage that go for a high rate on the blue side go for peanuts on the red.
Just a thought. -
I have a fire/kin at the mid 30's and really starting to enjoy the build now, but while looking at other builds I've noticed that most select the fighting pool with either boxing or kick selected along with tough and weave. My question is why this pool? and what does it do for the build?. Is is just to allow extra slotting options or is there a purpose behind it? I've noticed that while fire imps do a decent amount of damage, while aggroing everything in range, they tend to be a bit squishy. Does this pool help them out as well as the user?
Any help or answers to this question will be appreciated.
Thanks.

No good there 0rgo. You already mastered the art of abusing WW's. I cannot imagine the carnage you could cause if you were allowed to wreak havoc without being in the game.

Nice responses from all, my thanks. I used the Respec option to provoke thought and start the thread off.
Most of the options presented have their own merits. I was just thinking about what use the 80+ free tailor sessions I have accumulated could be traded for and since other things, like inspirations, can be combined into a different insp why not adjust the system to allow us to trade unneeded items for something more compelling?
Continue on.. -
If you've been in this game for more than four years you've probably got a large amount of free tailor sessions as "bonuses" for each three month's spent in game. My question to you is this:
" If it were possible to trade x number of these for another item what would be your choice?".
For me it would be free respecs so I could dismantle a lvl 50 toon and recover ALL my placed enhancements rather than just 30-40.
Thoughts? -
This is kind of ironic to me as I've rarely gotten a blind invite to an SG that was not named ELITE LEGENDS. That is the one variance on the game that I have never had issues with. Now if I could find a way to irritate the gold farmers and avoid those emails as well.

Robotics / Pain Dom MM - Dragons Minions
Assault bots - Pookie, Cuddles, Fluffy
Protector Bots - Pebbles and Bam Bam
Assault Bot - Instant Death
I always get a laugh out of the screen print " Fluffy has defeated Scrapyarder" or whatever.
