I rarely lead trials, but yes. I would kick someone from the team for shirking their responsibility to their teammates.

Trials are just bigger task forces, and kicking someone for hopping in the cutscene is just you being a jerk. Plain and simple.
The real jerk is the person trying to show off by appearing in a cutscene instead of helping their teammates.

    Oooh

    Looks great!

Since launch, the game has needed an ongoing storyline. It should, basically, be a monthly comic book that we can play. The story should have cliffhanger endings most of the time. Occasionally, it should wrap up a storyline, but still have plot threads to build upon.

I really hope that's what we get with the signature story arcs.
  3. And the City of London is only a tiny bit of the city of London.

    Figure that one out!

    Hi everybody!

    I remember you too.

    Welcome back!
  5. Welcome back!

Freedom and Virtue are still the big dogs as far as server population. Maybe give Virtue a shot to see if the lag situation is better.

Also, try posting on the server forums to get a better response.

    Good luck and happy heroing!

    It's gotta be B!

So far, I'm ok with Freedom, but, selling purples would bother me. If things like high end enhancements and incarnate salvage or merits are for sale, I might have to reconsider playing CoH. I'm really against "Pay 2 Win".

Same here. I'm not a fan of the giant swords and other huge weapons. Light poles and railroad crossings, sure. A super strength character could lug those around. But the manga-inspired swords as big as the character wielding it? Not my thing.

If you like it, enjoy. If not, I empathize.

    Zwillinger.
I knew it too. Recognized Zwill from the movie when I first saw his pic.

It's all good. It's cool to see an avid MMO gamer got a job in the biz.

    I'm still here.

I don't think it should be put to player vote or even nominations. The devs should pick someone(s) to honor that represents the 7 years the Live community has shaped the game.
It's kind of a nice idea, but I'd rather not see it happen. Coyote was a unique situation.
  12. It's true. Coyote was a long-time member of the pre-release forums and a beta tester. He was also a very nice guy.

I really hope he can continue to welcome new players to the game, just like he used to on the original forums and in beta.

Agreed. I have a few characters with the first anniversary badge. I've been reluctant to reroll them because I don't want to lose that badge, even though I never play the characters any more.

Account-wide anniversary badges should happen. The tech already exists. It would be a nice quality of life change for the longtime vets.
  16. More trials means more variety means less repetition and less farming of trials.

    More trials, please.
  17. I think it looks great!

The coloring is clearly affected by some type of bright light source, a flash or a flare shining on the characters.

    Keep up the good work!

Agreed. I love the Midnight Squad and would love to see more of them.

I'm with you Bill. I'm all for the f2p change. I think it's a great way to bring more people to the game and I'm willing to give the devs time to sort out point pricing details, but if one powerset costs an entire month's points, I might have to rethink my position. To me, this would be the nickle and diming that keeps me away from other f2p games. I'm really hoping CoH does NOT go this route.

Powersets should either be free to paying subscribers or available at a very low point cost. I won't mind spending points on costumes and content (including powersets), but don't gouge me on them.

All that in addition to four new powersets and one month of gametime for $30. If I can pay that and get a similar amount of new content, I will do it happily.

Again, I'm in favor of the upcoming changes, but I want more than the equivalent of one powerset a month for my subscription fee.

    EDIT: for clarity.

    20.5?

    It's on test right now.

    Just downloaded it today.
  24. I'd love a new update on Silk Fletcher.

By the way, TA gets so much better when you get oil slick arrow. Also, selecting tech or magic origin means you can light it with your inherent power.
