Quote:I rarely lead trials, but yes. I would kick someone from the team for shirking their responsibility to their teammates.A)Would you kick people for hopping in the cutscene while Marauder is talking?
The real jerk is the person trying to show off by appearing in a cutscene instead of helping their teammates. -
Looks great!
Since launch, the game has needed an ongoing storyline. It should, basically, be a monthly comic book that we can play. The story should have cliffhanger endings most of the time. Occasionally, it should wrap up a storyline, but still have plot threads to build upon.
I really hope that's what we get with the signature story arcs. -
And the City of London is only a tiny bit of the city of London.
Figure that one out!

Welcome back!
Freedom and Virtue are still the big dogs as far as server population. Maybe give Virtue a shot to see if the lag situation is better.
Also, try posting on the server forums to get a better response.
Good luck and happy heroing! -

So far, I'm ok with Freedom, but, selling purples would bother me. If things like high end enhancements and incarnate salvage or merits are for sale, I might have to reconsider playing CoH. I'm really against "Pay 2 Win".

Quote:Same here. I'm not a fan of the giant swords and other huge weapons. Light poles and railroad crossings, sure. A super strength character could lug those around. But the manga-inspired swords as big as the character wielding it? Not my thing.I agree with Sam on this one. A lot of those weapon skins we have now. Silly.
Huge swords are in way silly compared to superheroes who go around with a wrench, a shovel, a manhole cover, or look...hey I'm beating the hell out of a heavily armored tank with a baseball bat.
If you like it, enjoy. If not, I empathize. -
Quote:I knew it too. Recognized Zwill from the movie when I first saw his pic. This will probably get me in trouble with the Red Names but it's been nagging at my memory since I came back (a month or so ago).

Zwillinger.
It's all good. It's cool to see an avid MMO gamer got a job in the biz. -

Thank you.
Quote:I'm going to take a slightly different tack. It's good to know Coyote is staying around. But I feel like in the 7 intervening years there have been plenty of helpful players around who should be given a similar honor in the new tutorial. I don't think it should be put to player vote or even nominations. The devs should pick someone(s) to honor that represents the 7 years the Live community has shaped the game. -
It's true. Coyote was a long-time member of the pre-release forums and a beta tester. He was also a very nice guy.
I really hope he can continue to welcome new players to the game, just like he used to on the original forums and in beta. -
Quote:The arguments stopped long before the vanguard pack existed. This is the vanguard merit argument all over again. People complained on the forums for weeks (some for months) after the Rikti War Zone revamp. Nothing changed.
No one complains about that anymore.
Anyway, carry on. -

Quote:Agreed. I have a few characters with the first anniversary badge. I've been reluctant to reroll them because I don't want to lose that badge, even though I never play the characters any more.IMO, they should not. Either you were here then, or you weren't.
However, anniversary badges should (IMO) be made account-wide, so that one is not faced with your dilemma.
Account-wide anniversary badges should happen. The tech already exists. It would be a nice quality of life change for the longtime vets. -
More trials means more variety means less repetition and less farming of trials.
More trials, please. -
I think it looks great!
The coloring is clearly affected by some type of bright light source, a flash or a flare shining on the characters.
Keep up the good work! -

Quote:Worst case scenario is that we end up paying 1.5 to 2 times our sub cost per month to get the same amount of content we used to get for 1.07 times our sub fee.Quote:The question is how MUCH good stuff will that 400 points cover? There have been people in this thread stating that it's ok to get one powerset for 400 points.
Powersets should either be free to paying subscribers or available at a very low point cost. I won't mind spending points on costumes and content (including powersets), but don't gouge me on them.
Quote:I will point that the 3 new zones, 1-20 content, costumes (with Alpha and Omega being an additional paid for benefit if you pre-ordered), side switching were all part of the paid expansion which was...£20 in English money.
Again, I'm in favor of the upcoming changes, but I want more than the equivalent of one powerset a month for my subscription fee.
EDIT: for clarity. -
I'd love a new update on Silk Fletcher.
By the way, TA gets so much better when you get oil slick arrow. Also, selecting tech or magic origin means you can light it with your inherent power. -
