I've been running an elec/elec for a while and the mezzes aren't a problem provided you have the powers mentioned earlier. There are variety of ways to go about blapping, medicine pool is one (I don't have it), but I would suggest keeping mobile to increase survivability.

Liberty Server - While I admit to playing more for PvP than PvE at present, it took almost 3 years to reach that point so I don't agree with the summation of the OP & I know many who feel the same. That is still an opinion but if I need to look at what people are doing for the most part I only see RV having anywhere near an active population, the other PvP zones are sparsely populated, if at all, while I can usually find a dozen people in at least 3 PvE zones not including Atlas Park.
Unless this is an aberation I don't see the numbers adding up to be pro-PvP, even taking into consideration that there are toons in AP trying to level for PvP (I being one of them).
I also suspect once i16 comes out I will be back to PvE a lot more than the last few months.
My 1.5 cents. -
Nothing wrong with blasters, maybe its your playstyle. I even use snipe on occasion in PvP so I don't know where you are coming from here.

Elec/elec. It's my main, has been my favorite for 3 years now and will likely remain so. Good for solo & teams and a whole lot of fun to boot.

You should change the title "Username" on the login page to "login" or some other name, since you are not required to have your "Username" be the same as "login" name. This will avoid confusion. Hope this helps.

[qutoe]My wife has an E3 and the way she has her nuke slotted the end doesn't crash completely if she hits enough targets. She put an End Mod IO in the 6th slot. The nuke has the same chance to return endurance to you as the rest of the attacks in the set. If you hit enough targets with it a lot of times you will have enough end left to fire Power Sink without needing to eat a blue first.
I have seen this phenomenon with my own eyes on her screen, so I know that it DOES happen. She nukes and I glance over and see her with a little bit of endurance still. My guess to why this happens is the end crash DOES happen, and THEN the end return effect kicks in, returning a small amount of endurance, which does not count as recovery because it is a different source.

I have a 2 IO End Mod set in my TB and often I have some end left over after a TB. If I'm aware enough I click off my toggles and dump any survivors before my toggles drain the end. I've had upwards of 20 after hitting TB. -
My version is a blapper & doesn't have short circuit, voltaic sentinal or power sink (or ball lightning for that matter) and rolls easily solo.
Charged Brawl is a great power & my build also utilizes stamina. Other than when I use TB, the build rarely encounters endurance issues and I have no qualms about entering combat at 1/4 endurance. -

The downtime after a nuke makes you lose damage... unless it's the last spawn of the mission, I don't really see much point in a nuke at all.... I find nukes are not worth spending a power choice on.

Ever hear of popping some blues? -

Well if they are playing like they're farming that means they DO control enemies, throw transfusion and transference, and have very high kill speed. To me that is a great contribution to the team *shrug*
[/ QUOTE ]
The whole team would do better if they would slow themselves down a moment to throw some buffs around. Many think to highly of themselves to reflect upon how much more effective the team would be if they would act more team oriented. -
One of the few arcs I like with regard to storyline.
-
Knockback is certainly control oriented, though far from ideal. It is best used when a team is being overwhelmed and need some sort of damage mitigation, and usually when there are no other trollers on the team. Heaven forbid such an event from occurring.

Teamwise, I find PBs to be more versatile, while WSs are more damage oriented.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is correct and incorrect. Speaking in Human-Form terms, PBs are more damage oriented while WSs are more control/debuff/messing-with-the-bodies oriented.
[/ QUOTE ]
A PB can control with knockback, act as a pseudo defender with glowing touch, scrap with melee attacks & blast with range. If you include the three forms then you add tanking & more blasting. Much more versatile than a WS. WS has some variety but lacks the all around punch of versatility that the PB can bring.
Still great for teams but just not as versatile. A WS can't fill as many roles as a PB on a team. -
Teamwise, I find PBs to be more versatile, while WSs are more damage oriented.

Nobody needs any power unless it is the first secondary on the list.

Actually he didn't say that. He said they might have resistances so he would check.

I spent a couple minutes once trying to go in the "out" door of the tram, so I'm not up on any particular pedestal here.

I remember doing that. Man was I pissed. Thought the game was broke, should have realized it was my brain. -
I would put Thunderous Blast in there too. They might not be stunned or held but running around without any Endurance is even better.
I guess challenging is relative. I don't consider dying during mishs makes the mish challenging. It just means failure. I prefer to think of challenging as those battles where I almost bought it but still managed to get through it conscious, not being woken up in a hospital bed. -

I would never build a blaster without stamina. You may say you have never run out of end with unslotted stamina at 43, but then I may say you must be doing it wrong.
[/ QUOTE ]
You would probably never build any toon without stamina. -
My main is an elec/elec/elec blapper. He rocks & always will. All around best toon I have.
