Quote:So exactly like they did with the first 3 movies... Won't bother watching this one either. From Comingsoon.net
The Universal release has taken the title from the Eric Van Lustbader book based on the series created by Robert Ludlum, but they will not be using the story. "This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter...this is a stand-alone project," said Gilroy. -
We bought my mum one for her birthday last year and she loves it. She lives in China and I believe the 3G version allows her some unrestricted internet access. As for it's perfomance, I don't know sorry and I'm not sure my mum could explain it very well.

Cheers. Looking at that it looks like the prices have stabilised. Supply and demand. More people using IO sets, more people buying NAO. Makes sense to me.

Quote:Lol, burden of proof mate. You provided the averages you should provide the sorce of those numbers. This is really something you should do for yourself then. Its easy enough, took me about 3 minutes while waiting around for NPCS to get killed. Any way the reason for the + was I rounded down, there should have been a - after 700,000 as that was rounded up.
And I'm not at home at the moment, so it's not easy at all. -
Quote:I wanted to see your numbers because you're the one making the claim of an average of 2,000,000 + now. The addition of the plus makes it sound to me like you are pulling the number out of Ascendents base.Yes, but you hardly need my numbers
Cut and paste fullmens hero list into a text file
Save
Load into excel as a fixed width format
You now have all your rows and columns set up.
Pull up the market interface with the /auctionhouse command and fill in the column for now at your leisure. -

Quote:I thought you were an bad player who only valued green numbers. If there are no healer AT's in this game why call them healers. I doubt anyone here is going to argue that bubblers are the best support set to have but if I advertise for support it's possible I may not have other support on the team meaning possible no heals. If I then got a bubbler without the little bubbles to reduce incoming damage I'd be dissapointed.Well, no offense, but what did you think I was referring to when I said "healer" if not empaths, rads, kins, darks, etc.? There's no actual class named "Healer" in this game.
Quote:The team already had a healer and the healer needs to heal anyway, if for no other reason than to heal pets. You're not going to spend time bubbling a bunch of mastermind pets. But healers keep them going (and buffed as well) for free.
Quote:As I mentioned earlier, you don't turn PFF and leave it on. You use it for survivability with Aid Self, then come back out of it.
Quote:A fair argument. But is one AV in one mission a strong enough reason to take the little bubbles? I would have to say no because the vast majority of the time LR gets beat with no bubbler on the team. Like with Malta, bubbles just aren't the preferred way to fight end drain, even though they do help in that area. -
Three of your comments utterly threw me:
Quote:So instead of spending a short time every 4 mins bubbling and the rest blasting you spent the whole time healing? Where did you get the time to blast if you were healing all the time?In fact, it didn't even equal it, since not giving out bubbles meant I could spend my time attacking (which actually accomplishes something).
And if you weren't healing, either someone was, who could have blasted if you'd bubbled, or the whole team were at the defence cap or near enough already in which case neither heals nor defence were much use.
Quote:PFF and dispersion bubble are the strength of FF. Dispersion bubble prevents the team from getting stunned or held. And it does it without the FFer having to constantly spend time passing out powers like CM. PFF provides survivability to the FFer, which let's him continue to do his job when things get rough.
That's why granite tankers HAVE a heal. But if I'm facing Recluse I'll take 75% defence over active healing any time. It puts ME in control. Do you know why Tankers like having a healer on hand when tanking recluse? Because they have popped purples to get up to the defence soft cap. A bubbler, thermal, ice whatever, will help reduce the reliance on purples. -
Quote:Hmm, I'm going to have to check on the placate status. I could be assuming that because hide is broken they will still attack, so I attack and break it anyway.I remember there being a bug like this, actually, and now that you mention it, I remember seeing this in person at one point. It shouldn't work like this, since being able to attack a target that you cannot target via AoE doesn't break the Placate until it times out or the target attacks you, but there could be some kink in the code that's the culprit here.
I do know that the Hidden portion of Placate is interrupted if your target manages to key an attack in a specific time window where he hits, suppresses you, but is still placated and won't attack. -
Hmmm, I'm going to need to double check this, but I don't this this is this case. If you placate at the same time as the placatee attacks you the hide is broken and placate is ignored. I've had a number of occasions where this has happened and it's very frustrating.

Quote:Anytime between 9am and 10pm GMT. And the later, as evenings seem to be more busy for EU posters and you guys are working by then anyway.
- What time of day do you find yourself positing/reading the forums the most?
- What's more important to you? Having someone able to engage you and watch the forums during what would be considered "peak" posting hours or having someone who may be several hours behind, but has greater access to the development team?

Quote:The ambushes are still tough and overpowered on other AT's. 10 ambushes on any AT is draining, given the lack of Insp drops. Not only that, the level of powers they have is higher than PC and RI including a vast array of Debuffs as highlighted earlier. However, new players are not FORCED to play Stalkers as their first characters, and this ambush situation only applies to them (outside of reports of people getting 'triple ambushes' all at once, which I would consider/suspect to be bugs). If they choose any other AT then the fact that ambushes see through stealth is pretty much moot.
So it's an issue, but it's not as large as one as you may think. -
Quote:Surely the baseline should be where MOST people want it (and looking at the responses in this thread you are NOT part of that) and those who want it harder can increase it. There are more in game options for increasing difficulty than there are for decreasing it.No offense, but that's a cop-out. I'm arguing the point. And again, I wasn't responding to you. Just because I refuse to accept that the game should be easier doesn't mean I don't consider your point. I don't find what you find fun. You aren't considering MY point. You ignore it.
I believe that the game should have a baseline difficulty that is higher than what you would set it at. You disagree. That's OK, people can disagree. -
Quote:Agreed, and if asked I base my recomendation on how the team has been going. If we've struggled, pull away. If we've pwned... Cccchhhhhaaarrrrggggeee (my blaster warcry... usually followed by S**T...lol)I find myself in one of two positions: if I am leading the TF, it's usually because I am with members of my SG and it was my "turn". While most of my SG has an IO'd toon, I am by far the member with the most IO'd toons, and most heavily invested in IOs. So on those TFs, I tend to play with a bit more caution, as I'd rather a controlled steamroll than having my friends die. If I'm not the leader (90%+ of the time
), then I defer to the TF leader for how (s)he wants things done. Typically, these are PuG TFs, so...YMMVG (G= greatly).
My typical tanking style is very much a "charge in, optimize later" method though. Anything short of a TF, and I am aggroing everything within range (~120' on Fireball) until people start dying
.
Quote:As we're both on Virtue, these weekly TFs increase the odds of us running something together. It's entirely possible that we already have even, I don't really pay close attention to globals :X -
Quote:You can fix end drain with heals?● If you have bubbles, you still need heals.
● If you have heals, you don't need bubbles.
∴ Heals > Bubbles
Not taking the little bubbles is not a big deal. Teams run missions pretty much non-stop without bubbles. It's not difficult.
Big bubble for mez protection, force bolt to get people out of trouble quickly, PFF + aid self for the occasional heal.
Nothing wrong with that build.I never knew!
-
For fun, just wade in and destroy. If your team has steamrolled everything the last mission is cake and you should be able to charge.
-
Quote:Because some people play for the story.. not the XPs.Lol because if you could stealth everything, then why are you even in Praetoria? Why not go red side and just stealth radio missions back to back? The missions would be far too easy if you could just stealth through everything. That isn't to say I don't feel the ambushes aren't harsh, they just aren't the roadblock you make them out to be.
Because some people RP playing a character that likes to minimise collatoral damage.
Because it's new and shiney. -
Quote:Oh, don't get me started on those homing bombs... they should be a location AoE, not a targeted AoE!. This is achievable by a decent "goto" bind, and by watching Blast Masters to see when they're about to throw an incendiary bomb. Moving the henchmen as the bomb is being thrown usually lets them clear the burn patch before they take much, if any, damage.
Also, Geko, Tell me how my stalker can effectivly stalk a mission with a constantly spawning homing Blast Master tracking me. And by constantly spawning I mean that there would be up to 3 on the map at any one time. Homing Bombs negate stealth, take away my best power meaning I have to scrap to beat him giving the next 3 time to catch up who I then have to beat. Running doesn't help, they just follow. Stealth... whats that?
Consider me firmly in the Ambushes are overpowered camp. The rest of the area was very good though.
