One thing I need to add is that accounts that were affected by the bad server may experience a substantial amount of time to correct the issue, this is normal. Apologies for the inconvenience!

In my experience it's easier to just start from scratch and copy over the live client again. -

An auto power for Energy Aura and Electric Armor? How about Quick Recovery?
[/ QUOTE ]Actually, it'd be in keeping with the theme of the dropped power.... I could actually see that, oddly enough.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd prefer a passive version of Conserve Power at 1/3 to 1/4 strength. -

It seems to me that allowing DP to actually do its job, giving more of a damage buffer and increasing regen, would be just the ticket, a solution to high burst when MoG isn't recharged.
[/ QUOTE ]That can also be accomplished by replacing the +maxHp with +res. -

The 33 end thing is a bit overblown. No one in their right mind would leave out endrdx in DR.
Then there's the Theft of Essense +end proc. It is a rare and expensive item, but we're talking about a farming build here. -
<QR>
I'm looking for slotting suggestions for Dark Regeneration that include the +end proc.
I current have a set of 5 Doc Wound's and 1 acc IO, but I just scored a +end proc recipe, and I don't think it's a good idea to overwrite any of the slotted IOs, so I want to redo it completely.
The slotting that I'm thinking about:
Theft +end proc, acc/end/rech
Nictus acc/end/rech, acc/end/heal, heal/rech
any heal/end/rech
Any alternative slotting suggestions? -

I decided to do the math on Night Widows using the same numbers just to see how they compare. They score 220 DPS, placing them just below 10 target DM and a nice alternative for those who wants a more damage Claws toon. No Focus or Shockwave though, which are kinda set defining to me. They also have limited options to increase their damage. No -res IOs and no Shield Defense. Cheap Assault though. Here's the downside: 5.61 EPS.

What's the chain you used?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's uh... long. FU > Slash > Lunge > Strike, repeat and move Slash one attack to the right each repetition (FU > Lunge > Slash... next one) until the last where Swipe replaces it and then restart.
[/ QUOTE ]
So it is FU, Slash, Lung, Strike, FU, Lung, Slash, Strike, FU, Lung, Strike, Slash, FU, Lung, Strike, Swipe, repeat.
How do you get Lung to recharge in time for the second bolded instance? -

Does anyone know if Eagle's Claw still have a chance to triple-crit after Placate?

Werner, even at 314% recharge and doing FU/Slash/Focus repeat, I'm only getting 157DPS.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you sure the correct number of FU stacking is used?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, I'm not sure. As a matter of fact, I know I didn't change it at all from doublestacked. I'll do so later.

I need to get my lazy bum to work on the chain visualizer again - ArcanaTime and more sets/attacks. -

I'm really sad that you didn't include Widows in the list. In the original thread I showed that Widows at 250% recharge are capable of 194.5 DPS (without Assault).
-
I'm curious so I went and did the math myself:
FU, Lunge, Strike, Swipe
1.056 s + 1.056 s +1.32 s + 1.056 s = 4.488 seconds per cycle (incl. ArcanaTime)
That chain requires 250% +rech for FU and Lunge.
For the damage numbers I used CoD's DS number multiplied by 55.61.
FU 50.72
Lunge 123.68
Strike 95.50
Swipe 57.83
Lunge gets 3x FU, the rest only 2x. Widow FU gives 30% +dam per application.
Enhancements contribute 95%. Would including 15% from Assault be fair?
Total chain damage without Assault:
(50.72 + 95.50 + 57.83) * (1 + .95 + 2*.3) + 123.68 * (1 + .95 + 3*.3) = 872.8053
872.81/4.488 = 194.48 DPS
Total chain damage with Assault:
(50.72 + 95.50 + 57.83) * (1 + .95 + .15 + 2*.3) + 123.68 * (1 + .95 + .15 + 3*.3) = 921.9643
921.96/4.488 = 205.43 DPS -
At the risk being laughed out of the scrapper forum:
Can we get a Widow chain in there as well? Preferably both with and without attacks specific to the Night Widow branch. -
1 and 4: Yes
2: Can be nice to have, but nowhere near essential.
3: I'd say melee Fort builds are tight enough without Weave. -
I use the energy shield colored yellow, plus the fire costume aura for mine. Works really well.

Mask presence and the stealth IO will not suppress when you activate AoC. It's because it's a confuse effect. As far as I know, seeds of confusion (the plant confusion cone) acts like any other attack and does suppress stealth, but every other confuse power does not.
So mobs will not have a chance to react in that split second if you are stealthed enough that they don't notice you when you get that close. They also will not attack you if you move away after using AoC, not even the ones that were close but not affected by the power. You can wander in, use AoC, then use single target confuse on bosses and elite bosses who might not have been confused, then walk away and watch them slaughter each other for the next 30 seconds or so at zero risk to yourself.
Alternatively, you could herd up a huge bunch of mobs into a tight area using regular attacks, hit AoC there with contagious confusion, so most of them are attacking each other, if not all, then hit psychic wail to kill a bunch of them while the rest are STILL attacking each other or stunned.
It all depends on what you enjoy.
Superspeed and mask presence, or superspeed and a stealth IO, or mask presence and a stealth IO, or all three together, are all good enough combos that you can walk right up to most mobs (snipers and rikti drones excepted) and they won't notice you. Unfortunately any one of those will not be sufficient. You c an get closer with just superspeed, but to use AoC effectively in the middle of a tight group of them superspeed will not be sufficient to let you stand unnoticed. It won't suppress, but if you just walked in and didn't use any powers at all you would still be seen. Besides, I noticed the original poster did not list superspeed in his build, so I did not suggest it, but everyone as sprint, and he had not slotted it, so I figured a stealth IO there. was a reasonable suggestion.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. -

Aura of Confusion, like ALMOST all confuse powers, does not reveal you, but as the poster above mentions, you do have to get close to use it. If you want to use it while remaining hidden I suggest putting a stealth IO in sprint and toggling both sprint and mask presence on and then going in and using aura of confusion.
[/ QUOTE ]
So are you saying that both Mask Presence and the stealth IO don't suppress? What I really want to find out is whether or not mobs have a chance to react in the split second between when AoC starts activating and when AoC's effects hit.
And yes, I have a full set of purple ready to pop in this puppy if I ever get around to respec >.>
5% ranged def bonus on top of all the common purple bonus is just too good to pass up on. -
Bab mentioned recently that Confuse would have its activation/animation trimmed to 2.0 seconds.
While I'm here, a related question:
Does Aura of Confusion drop you out of Hidden status? -
I'm not seeing anyone addressing the point (regarless of how rudely or not it is made) that Crabs have the choice to drop Fortitude and Serum for Assault and Maneuvers.
Once that is factored in, the only significant extra contribution a Huntsman brings is Surveillance. -
I also thought the Huntsman WAWG was inferior to Web Envelope, but upon closer inspection, WAWG has superior -speed and -rech: 50% vs 20% in WE.
I'm also curious what a Crab could achieve if he drops Serum, Fortification and what not for more Leadership toggles. -
Keep in mind the blue side data are close to a month old.

So, I put up a level 33 Numina unique recipe on the market earlier today, and it took less than 6 hrs to fetch 60 million minus fees.
Looks like farming Posi will be very lucrative for the foreseeable future. -

You're right, I simply looked at the last 5 transaction amounts and didn't pay attention to the dates.
I'm not sure I understand you completely, but are you saying that anything around level 30-33 is ultra-rare nowadays and is going to fetch significantly higher than lvl 50s, regardless of the actual level? How much exactly, nobody knows, unless people start posting those in significant quantity.
What exactly is stopping people from locking their toons at 33 and farming TFs?
