    PvP MM

    1v1, a PB will pretty much never be able to kill a MM. The only way you're gonna kill a MM is if your nova is 200 feet away and the MM's attention is not on you.

    I rolled a Bots/Therm MM, it should do alright, but I heard /pain MM is super hard to kill. I wonder if demon's MM would be worth waiting for?

  5. both EM and devices have their perks, do you guys think they're both equal and it comes down to preference, or is one that much better than the other?
    for instance, with devices I get stealth, which adds a slight bonus to def, targeting drone can be slotted with the +percp enh, caltrops breaks a stalkers hide, and taser can sometimes stun the stalker that just lost their hide. And there's aim too. I figure with the +percp proc I don't need tactics and can get aid self for a chance at being more survivable in between hoarfrost recharging. To me it seems that devices wins out but I don't know EM that well so maybe it's not better. Any input?
  6. I revamped the PB. It is slotted with more focus on the nova form. The Javelin Volley's I put in there dont have to be specific since I am only trying to get the bonuses from those IO's. For my play style with the PB, this setup should suit me much better.

  7. Yeah, you pretty much guessed right on most of everything. I use nova abouit 95% of the time. I only use human form for quantum flight, heals, hasten, and end reduction. I like the dwarf's 800+ hp heal and tank-like resistance. I use the dwarf to teleport out of bad situations quickly if quantum flight isn't ready.

    I will mess with mids and try slotting something besides stamina and see where it goes, but the bonuses from stamina are nice. All of the human form powers aside from heals are pretty much mules. I tried to make a bad *** human form PB, but it just doesn't work out imo.

  9. ok, here is the build and binds for the pb i use. It's a challenge to use this AT and will take a lot of dying in RV to get the hang of the toon, but when you have the pb figured out, it's a lot of fun.

    Also, for some reason ninja run comes up instead of energy flight. I have enegery flight 3 slotted with Soaring: End/Fly, Bless of Zeph: Flight/End, and Winter's Gift: Slow resist

    Figuring out what to put in each tray is not complicated. A useful tip for the squid and dwarf is to put the transform power in the 0 slot of a tray so its out of ur way to avoid accidentally changing forms. Hope this helps.

  12. You just gave me an idea. I going to experiment with a bind that toggles off nova, moves to another tray and auto toggles energy flight. This would be kinda like switching to hover from flight when ur hit with hurl. I don't know if it will work, but its worth a try.
  13. I like the build, and I also like the aid self. Tough gets hit hard by diminishing returns, along with the fact a blasters resistance is hit by DR regardless, so you won't get the resistance you want. A 40% health recharge every 8 seconds will take you further than a little resistance.

    Also consider picking up some etheral shifts for the moments that you want to survive, and remember not to use it on those moments when u don't have a chance of surviving.

    Psy/Dev blaster

    I have a fire dev blaster that I really like. Caltrops make a stalker lose hide, and that's where taser can come in handy. Personally, I like medicine over tactics with my blaster to have a little help in between hoarfrost. That's going to be preference though. Targeting drone does well for the +tohit around 21% depending on how you slot targeting drone.

    If you do get aid self, get two intrpt redc, and 4 numinas and you will get off aid self more often than not.

    You don't need the concealment pool, just go to ww and get etheral shift if want you phase every once in a while.

    Aim for 41 kb, and if you really wanna drive people crazy, slot the placate proc.

    Defense for what AT? Either way, your defense will get hit with, Diminishing Returns. DR was was meant to try and even out AT's, but it doesn't do what it was meant to do.

    Check out the threads posted by warhamster, he has a great explanation of how defense looks in PvP.
  16. I think people for the most part think negatively about popping inspirations. It also comes down to how you pop inspirations too, for instance if you're chasing someone trying to finish the kill, and hear that toon popping off like bubble wrap, you're going to get laughed at more than likely. On the other hand, if a tank gets hit with Heat Exhaustion, I don't think people are gonna make comments about why you popped a blue.

    If you need an inspiration every now and then, no one will care, but if you rely on them to avoid dying every time you get into trouble, go respec and buy some IO's.

    There is certainly no rules pertaining to popping inspirations, if there was, then you wouldn't even have the option to use them in that zone.

  19. Do you think it would be worth it to drop Invincibility, and Tough Hide, in order to get Heal Self? I know I would lose about 15% recharge bonus and some Def, but I think it would help my tank to have another heal besides Dull Pain.

  21. I'm going to make this build as cheap as possible, my only objective is to support in rv. My question is this, is Psychic Mastery worth getting, if so, which powers would be most effective for ancillary power set on support toon like this one? Also should I try and slot for recharge on heals, range, or +heal or all three. I'm also not sure which travel powers I should have for an emp def....so many questions...

    My emp/dark def is already 39 which is way I've decided to make it just support toon. I don't feel like taking the time to lvl up psy def, unless you think I really won't like emp in rv and sc...
