How does this build look ? <---
Building for defense on a squishy in PvP is a complete waste thanks to diminishing returns (your 40% defense would probably turn into something like 13-15% in PvP). Build for HP (try to hit the cap at 1606), knockback protection (at least 41 points), some recharge (40+%), and maybe some damage.

Ah ok. Someone told me to hit ranged softcap for PvP. I guess they meant it for PvE. Thanks a lot. I'll try to build for that and post my new build.

Dues, the biggest and possibly only reason to go Sonic on a blaster would be for a powerboosted screech. If I didn't throw screech in there I wouldnt make the blaster.
Build for capped HP
Build for 41+ KB Protection
Build for 50%+ Recharge
Cap your Run Speed
Cap your Jump Speed
Dont worry too much about +damage, it gets DR'd pretty hardcore.
Blaster's are expensive to build correctly, and if they are not built correctly (ie. If you dont have the money) you might as well not play one.

I'm actually wondering if the placate proc in siren's song works as well if not better as it does in will dom.
Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.
It does on paper, but in practice it doesn't because 1) Siren's Song isn't part of your normal attack chain like Will Dom is, and 2) Siren's Song has a short range.

So for my first Blaster I was considering rolling a Sonic/Energy for PvP. Can someone tell me whats wrong with this build ? I attempted to go for reaching ranged softcap . . I was only able to reach 40%. Help me please
