PM me, I found several sources of cone enhancements in my junk email box that I can share with you if you need your cone enhanced.

You would be surprised how many times I have to go back and edit a post because I accidentally sign my posts with my real name.

I basically live off my blackberry, and when I send emails with it I always have to sign it because I have to keep the normal disclaimer: "Sent from XXX's blackberry mobile device, please excuse any typos" as my signature.

Its just a force of habit.

I believe that Hibernate was not designed to let a person log of for two seconds and come back to play with a fresh twenty second PvP countdown. In my opinion, this is a big time abuse of a power. A Design Flaw / Exploit
Some people that use the HiberQuit may feel that this is a legitimate use of hibernate. I see it as a design flaw used to cheat a player out of a defeat and possible PvP recipe drop.
Ok seriously.. this is not a bug, you can log out anywhere, anytime, no questions asked. This applies to PvP and PvE. Also, if someone logs out in hibernate once they get back they pop out and you have 90+ seconds to kill them during the no phase timer.

Also, if it takes you 10+ min to kill a squishy in i13+ retard damage mashing pvp you have a serious issue aside from hibernate.

How is logging out an exploit? Do you even know the definition of exploit?

I mean, he had it coming making us chase him for ten minutes Jeez...But....before he breaks the Log off countdown begins while he is hibernating. Then three seconds into countdown the squishy disappears. Then he reappears seconds later, breaks out of ice block and has a full twenty second PvP countdown and runs to base. I don't like this ! ! Please Fix the HiberQuit Exploit.

Peritus was a great dueler because he was ahead of the curve as far as Rad/Psi goes. He was a great innovator (Remember when he rolled the 1v1 tournament with his new Thugs/Poison?), and paved the way for some of the future FOTM's.

However, he was not as good of a team PvP player as Anichi was.

I can also confirm through extensive testing in warburg that you can kill a level 42 with a level 50 and receive PVP IO drops.

Certain sets give bonuses no matter what level you are, for instance, Purples and PVP IO's give their bonuses no matter what level you are.

Generic IO's only give their bonuses if the max IO level is within three of your exemplared level.

For instance in SC you are lvl 30 so if you want set bonuses you have to keep your Generic IO's (ie. Mako's Bite, Red Fortune, Luck of the Gambler) between 27 and 33. The exception to this rule is Proc's procs work at any level as long as you have access to the power they are slotted in.

    Hope that helps..

    Arch/nrg IO help

If you really have your heart set on slotting out an Archery blaster, which I strongly suggest you don't..

First, you need to max out your HP (not too hard for SC, just get your accolades).

Second, I suggest slotting at least 41 Knockback Protection.

Third, dont worry too much about damage bonuses because its hit really hard by DR, and combat numbers doesnt show the correct percentage so no one really knows how hard it is hit by DR, but I can tell you 50%+ damage feels like +20% max.

Lastly, You will want at least 40% recharge so you have a fluid attack chain due to archery's weak attacks.

Burning Arrow is your big hitter, the rest is just added damage.

Now, I know this is the obligatory roll an fotm statement but...

There are three prevalent blaster primaries right now: Psi, Sonic, Fire (followed very closely by Rad). It isnt a fluke that these three are at the top. They easily out perform all the other sets. Please keep in mind if you are going to invest billions of influence on IO'ing a blaster you should pick something that will perform well in the long run. If you are worried about playing an FOTM look at Rad or Fire as alternatives to Sonic/Psi.

    Either way, good luck!

Oh wait I forgot this is the "dUmb's Official League Rooster" thread.

Good choice for a team name guys! it fits you perfectly.
Max was perma banned because of his accounts role in the whole Ownage IO Dupe fiasco. By insinuating he is playing on the Wahoo account you could potentially put the Wahoo account in jeopardy of being permabanned also.

Hold is skippable since it doesnt last long.

Noxious is still the best power in the set, even though it has long recharge.

The slow is still pretty good, but its mainly good because of the "puke" effect it can cause that is basically a unresistable hold.

As far as MM secondaries go Poison is pretty sick, I cant give any advise on Demons since it isnt out yet, and I haven't seen any of the powers.

However, Necro/Poison and Thugs/Poison are probably the strongest 1v1 dueling builds. I used to run my Necro/Poison quite a bit. I loved it. Necro is immune to movement slows so it really helps against rads/colds. On top of that necro has -tohit that stacks with the Poison -tohit debuff.

Thugs has the stacking leadership and gangwar going for it, and a bruiser buffed with noxious gas is downright scary if they get in melee range.

I would also like to say if you are going purely zone, Pain is probably the most survivable set out there and Thermal is all kinds of good because of Heat Exhaustion.

Limiting the numbers of taunters is a bad idea. If you go down that route you'll be catering to the teams that want nothing but Emps and Psi/Ems which is boring as hell. Can we please keep a little variety?

    Nonononononononononononononononono!
Ok, seriously did you think before you wrote that or did you just spew nonsense and just click "Submit Reply"?

    Factual Statements

    1) Taunt is broken in the fact that on certain maps it can not be broken even if line of sight is broken

    2) Taunt is broken in the fact that you can theoretically force a tie and play completely non competitively if you wanted, which is one of the reasons why stalkers are limited to two per match.

    3) Taunt is no different then old school perma caging. If you are a halfway decent player you can completely eliminate 1 opposing player from the match.

    Personal feelings regarding taunt:

    1) Tauntbots are an excuse for putting bad players into a team environment (re: Kat). If you cant survive or evade, we can put you on a sack of large HP where you can autofollow 1 person with 1 power on autofire.

    2) Having to bring another taunter to counter an opposing team's taunter is kinda retarded, you basically force two people to fiteclub the entire match. If anyone watched the first BoBC vs U2BG you would know what I mean, it was absolutely hilarious watching the taunters race around the map.

    3) If you are on a taunter you are not learning evasion, you are not learning locking, you are not learning to pursue... You are basically learning bad habits that will just bring down your skill.

I think limiting taunters to 2 per match is a good idea imo. Taunters would still be a serious threat if played correctly, and they could still be countered with a damage heavy team.

  25. Build for capped HP

    Build for 41+ KB Protection

    Build for 50%+ Recharge

    Cap your Run Speed

    Cap your Jump Speed

Dont worry too much about +damage, it gets DR'd pretty hardcore.

Blaster's are expensive to build correctly, and if they are not built correctly (ie. If you dont have the money) you might as well not play one.
