Quote:I've never had trouble soloing him either, even with just SO builds.I don't get people not being able to solo Trapdoor. I have soloed him with literally dozens of characters (Defenders, Corruptors, Masterminds, etc.) and often with SOs.
Set difficulty to -1/1, speed through the base to Trapdoor. Defeat his first 'replication', then smack Trapdoor in about 30 seconds (with any AT).
I could see him causing problems solo at +2 or +3, but he is really easy to solo at -1. -
I used to see really horrid lag during Mothership raids and in iTrials, particularly 24-player trials, to the point where I'd click a power and would have to wait around 10 seconds for it to activate. That was months ago; these days even in 24-player trials I don't see lag anywhere near that bad.
As for crashing, it happens once in a blue moon, and I can't remember the last time I DC'd. So I got that going for me, which is nice. -
Yes, very fancy, it can wiggle its eyebrows, but can it do this?

There was a patch on the 10th of November that updated the game to a newer version of PhysX. Guess the ragdolls had an allergic reaction to it.

I think the duel between Inigo and Westley may be the best swordfight in cinema history. Bob Anderson, you will be dearly missed.

I won't begin to speculate on the effects of the powers themselves, but in terms of possible future level shifts, here's what I think:
Omega could provide a straight-up level shift like Alpha does, active in and out of iTrials.
Mind and Vitae could both provide level shifts that only work outside of iTrials.
In this way, our characters could be +4 all the time.
Pure speculation, but it makes sense to me. -
Happy New Year, everybody! It's gonna be a good'un.

If you ever get into PR and want to be good at your job, just look at what Paul Christoforo did here... and then do the exact opposite.

I got this.
All of you are jealous, even if you refuse to admit it.
Though in all seriousness, I did end up with some good stuff.
Such as an Orion HighLight 1.25" 3x 5-Element Barlow Lens (used it this evening and got spectacular views of the moon and Jupiter before the firework smoke rolled in)
All three Jason Bourne movies
Both volumes of William Manchester's biography of Winston Churchill
The Hungry Scientist Cookbook

Merry Christmas, everyone. -
I am not in any position to judge the general aptitude of the Guardian player community, which is why I don't go to their forums and lecture them.

Inventions has been, and still are, the single biggest game changer for me. Tinkering with builds in Mid's creates the sort of problems I enjoy solving, and I have agonized for hours over the placement of a single slot, weighing all possible advantages and disadvantages. So much of what makes the game enjoyable for me now did not show up until Issue 9.

Quote:It's kept me subscribed. That's nice... And that means players that don't want the endgame raiding crap from other games have one less reason to stay subscribed. Oh wait... The Incarnate System was meant to keep subscribers enticed to continue their subscription. I believe there is a word for that:
Fail. -

I'm really enjoying the set thus far. My TW/EA Scrapper is lvl 41 currently, and even without sets he's pretty beastly. Yeah, there are still some issues with the set, the most glaring being that the cone attacks don't seem to reliably activate when attacking a moving target, and yes, there are some delayed hit effects, but I don't think I've had this much fun with a powerset in a very long time.

I have access to the wisp aura on my account as well.
