Get the rest of the purples for my Fire/Dark Corr, buy the purples I'll need for my Fort/Widow (both builds), buy the purples I'll need for my SS/Fire Brute, blow the rest on a tricked out conversion van.

September 21st of this year.
Reeeeeally regretting taking those sabbaticals. -
How often do you really think you'll need to make use of this feature?

I was on a full BAF tonight and had pretty much the worst lag I'd seen since I20 launched, easily on par with the worst lag I've ever seen in the game. The worst part is we were attempting the Strong and Pretty badge. The event has its own real-time count-down clocks, but for the players, doing pretty much anything took an inordinate amount of time, so while the reinforcements spawned every 30 seconds of real-time, player actions were far slower. This meant that the spawns built up much more quickly, causing additional lag.

Oh, you have no idea. Watching the series unfold at this pace is almost tortuous, because there are moments coming up that, when I read them, left me in a state of utter disbelief, rereading the words multiple times in an effort to convince myself of what actually transpired.

After a bit of running around Cimerora with my Fire/Dark to test out the changes with Interface powers and Pets (in this instance, Rain of Fire and Reactive Radial Interface), I've concluded that this change makes rain powers ridiculously overpowered. Rain of Fire was tearing apart entire spawns of Cimerorans all by itself, killing minions in just a few seconds. While it'd be neat to have this go live as-is and make my Fire/Dark far more powerful, it's incredibly unbalanced.

Looks like someone else was thinking along the same lines.
I think it could work. -
I don't even know how to politely respond to this. That your playstyle has been described as comparable to Prixy's should immediately tell you what you should be doing. (HINT: People won't describe your playstyle as comparable to Prixy's)

My guess would be the rarity of -res. -Def is incredibly common, with quite a few enemies having multiple -def attacks. Cimerorans, for example. Effing Cimerorans...

Welcome. We're not at all serious here. Pay your server membership dues on time and comply with all posted directives and we'll have no reason to prematurely cause you to stop being alive.
Also, should you create a character on Champion we'll need you to fill out some forms, waivers, disclaimers, standard stuff really. I mean, who doesn't want to be an organ donor? You can give the gift of life to someone, far, far more deserving, and better yet, you don't have to wait until you're fatally or almost-fatally injured. Just think: you'll still be alive to see the look of gratitude on the recipient's face. Granted, that'll probably be the last thing you see, 'cause ha ha, guess what, the human body can't survive much longer than 24 hours without a liver. But think just how fulfilled and proud you'll feel during those hours, provided the toxins building up in your body haven't driven you mad with pain? Forgot to mention the bodily toxins part. Fine print and all that.
Also, might want to avoid drinking tap water. We put something in it to make you forget, but we forgot exactly what we put in it and now we can't take it out. There's a giant tank at the water treatment plant labeled 'MERCURY', but that's been there for as long as we can remember. -
Lots of very nice fixes. It's good to see old bugs getting squashed.

'Revamp' is a rather strong word to use here. There are 'changes' coming to the reward system. It might end up being a revamp, but we don't know yet.

I enjoyed the premiere. It set the tone well, introduced a fraction of the massive cast of schemers, and didn't run roughshod over its source material. Good stuff.

Quote:I do believe you're in the wrong thread. This thread is discussing the badges associated with the Lambda trial, not the reward tables.Without over-simplifying things here (or trivializing anyone's expressed concerns thus far), I think it's quite fair to say that the players don't find the "participation reward" system to be fun. I'm not thrilled with a reward system that doesn't provide even the most basic of transparencies to the end-user. But that's me personally.
If there's any single rule that the Development Team should adhere to, with respect to the continuance of this game, it's that the changes (or even refinements) introduced into the game should be such that allow its players to continue having fun. If that is undermined, well ... that's when subscriptions start leaping headlong into the e-void. -
