  1. There are folks that would like the big, flashy, anime style powers (I know Sam has mentioned it, too), but I'm skeptical. I think most of that stuff would be too big and would look kind of ridiculous in a lot of the close-quarters situations we tend to work in. I don't see huge plumes of water, for example, working well in an office corridor, unless they went to the vastly more expensive and time consuming effort to make the water bounce off the walls, etc.

Yeah they should have called it that and not dreadlocks wild would have been better
Well, something else, anyway. I believe this hairstyle is already called "Wild" (sorry, wish I had a better pic handy).

  3. I think it goes against a Crafting system to have the stuff you're supposed to be crafting simply available for purchase. Why would anyone craft them any more?
  4. I'm easy. I pretty much just want one that lets me put the close [x] where I want it (at the far right of the screen, in this case, not in the tab) and to change tabs to potential infinite smallness so they don't scroll off-screen when I have eleventy-seven of them open.
  5. I think that's where the "(Possible CoX2)" comes in.
  6. I am home now and can confirm, yes, that's the one.
  7. Plus, y'know, you'd need special glasses...
  8. Well, if you sent in a petition about the Mystic Fortune prompt, that's WAI and nothing to do with the GMs. I might have sent you more specifically to the Suggestions board, but...eh.

Frosticus has the right idea, but...:

They stealth edited out July some time ago to now say "summer". My guess is in the last 1-2 weeks of summer, so September xx (as in double digits).

While technically still summer, it is a pet peeve of mine because it is soooooooo much better from a company standpoint to build good will and leverage marketing to say "fall" and then launch it a bit early. They did the exact same thing with i17. It makes you look like a hero instead of a drag-a**.
Conversely, if they say "Summer" and everyone expects the end of summer, and then they pop it out in, say, the second week of August, they still look like heroes. It's all perspective.

Expect the worst and hope for the best. It's safer that way.
  10. I don't know the font, but someone should shoot that damned dog. He's been laying there with foxes jumping over him for DECADES!

    COV4LIFE missed it:

You notices he was poken fun at Rastafarian from Jamaicans that are afro-descent...
Actually, he's poking fun at white middle-class posers who think they're "Rasta".
  12. While it's true that I do use the "dreadlocks" hairstyle on a couple of characters, they don't look anything like dreads, nor do I use them as if they were. I use it more for a "wild" type hairstyle, like for my Krazy Killer Klown with Klaws...Cut-Up!

Pointiest darned dreads you'll ever see.

Oh yeah, no I know that we have it there and will likely be able to add it to AE. I want a system from CHAMPIONS ONLINE where we run into the arch nemesis randomly - kinda like CO but improve on it a bit. Also eventually have missions based on your doppleganger or arch-enemy. It seems CO took a lot from CoX so we can take the best of that game (which isn't too much ).
IIRC, that's something that Jack wanted in CoH at the very beginning, but as is typical with him, had absolutely no idea how to implement.
  14. I guess all that's left is contacting support, then. Of course, it's the weekend and they may be a little slow to respond.
  15. Geez, I hope you're not taking my stupid joke seriously.
  16. Huh. Well the mantra I was taught was...Do not "Add". "Upgrade".

But they both seem to lead you to the same serial code entry box now. Have you tried it through "Upgrade game account" from the Game Account page? I'm not sure if it makes a difference any more.
  17. **looks at sidebar**

Wait...both Champions Online and DCU Online get listed under "Big Games", but CoX does not? I believe I'm having a "Bite me!" moment.
  18. I can vaguely remember early on that they were tougher, and we actually had SG runs teaming to make it easier. I think you're right, though, they must have done something. Even before the recent changes, I can't remember having a hard time at all except right when I started out (late I6).
  19. And yet tall buildings have a footprint smaller than my apartment (which is quite small indeed). Yes, lots of odd disproportions in this game. Some I understand why and some I do not at all.
  20. Oh, I always played those. I like them, but I'm one of those weirdos that not only doesn't mind being made to take a tour, I actually enjoy it.
  21. I, personally, might take Provoke if I was doing that. But that would be because of the "loss" of Gauntlet, so it doesn't really apply to tanks.
  22. That terminology always throws me, too. I THINK what he's saying is using triple and double IOs from the sets without paying attention to matching up the set pieces for the bonuses.

    EDIT: Or what Aggy said.
  23. To be honest, most of the time I forget that "complete" and "drop" even exist. Seems to be some perpetually farty area of my brain.

Hey, come on. Witch hunt? Seriously? Give me some credit... I'm only saying that theres been no proof or disproof of anything. Hells, so long as Jay keeps making parts to the standard he has (Vanguard armour, Praetorian Clockwork...*drool*) he can wear a tuta all day and run around with that generic clown/circus music blaring out of portable speakers for all I care.
For all you care??? Hell, I wanna see that on youtube NAO!
