City Of Heroes Deluxe Key to my current account? How?

I have a City of heroes Deluxe key here, hasent been used because it was sealed. I try to add it to my account but it says it wants to create a new account? How do i add the prestige powers to my account?

Huh. Well the mantra I was taught was...Do not "Add". "Upgrade".

But they both seem to lead you to the same serial code entry box now. Have you tried it through "Upgrade game account" from the Game Account page? I'm not sure if it makes a difference any more.

Yeah, if i do that it just says "To create your new City of Heroes® (Europe) account, choose an account name and password."

I dont want to create a new account i want to add these powers and items to my current account.

Do you normally play on the U.S. servers? If so, you have a European key and cannot add it to your U.S. account.

Yeah. Each edition can only be added once to an account. For example you can't add the codes for two Architect Editions to your account.

Ive only added Heroes and Villians Combined, Villians Special edition and Archetect Edition.

None the less ill contact support anyway.

Be sure to mention to support that you already have successfully added the villains special edition and architect editions. That will let them know that you are familiar with the upgrading process and have used it in the past. That way they might (I stress the word might) work at getting to the root of the problem instead of walking you through the simple stuff you've already done.
