I had to re-download firefox today and am trying to find all my old add-ons so I decided to ask you all if there are any add-ons that help with the CoX forums or forums in general?

And while I am at it any other suggestions of good add-ons I need or should get?

Thanks for the help as always....

well, for second part, I use "Ad Blocker" and "flashblock" on all my firefox setups... The second one, I find, has helped immensely with adds that pop-up over the page within the same window. Downside is it will require you to actively click on flash object you WANT to load (youtube/flash animation/web games/etc)

I use AdBlock Plus and Greasemonkey on the forums. ABP to remove some images, Greasemonkey to make the forum more convenient for my naviagtion habits.

I find vBulletin image resizer to be very useful for when people post huge screenshots that screw up the forum display.

Use NoScript, it helps keep your computer safe where ever you browse. (Note I said "helps keep you safe", nothing provides 100% security).

Not being online keeps you 100% safe!

Adblock Plus and Noscript here. Also at home I have a tab manager add-on that works better for me than Firefox's default, but I can't remember the specific name.

Dec out.

Tab Mix Plus?

I have used the New Tab King, which was a top-rated add-on. ATM, though, I have it disabled - a recent patch had changed a few things I didn't care for. I'm looking for another tab management add-on atm.

I'm easy. I pretty much just want one that lets me put the close [x] where I want it (at the far right of the screen, in this case, not in the tab) and to change tabs to potential infinite smallness so they don't scroll off-screen when I have eleventy-seven of them open.

My Add-Ons are:
AdBlock Plus
Greasemonkey, so I can customize the Quick Links menu.
gui:config, to access hidden config settings.
QuickDrag, so I can open URLs on websites that don't auto-parse text into URLs.
SkipScreen, so I can do other stuff while waiting for the download timer to expire.
Stylish, so I can use a modified version of Zombie Man's Villain Skin for the forums.
Tab Mix Plus, so I can have useful options for the tabs.

My only issue is that when I was on my old compy, I somehow disabled the "preview" of a tab while dragging it to a new position. I don't remember how I did that, so when I drag tabs, I get a stupid semi-transparent preview of the top-left corner of the webpage loaded in the tab.

Used to work like that; then they changed it... And somewhat recently they changed the location of where new tabs open (from at the end of all existing tabs to immediately to the right of the active tab).... Thankfully that one is somewhat easily changed in the hidden settings.
