Heh, just drink a lot of coffee and stay up late. Or take a nap now.
-
Unless, of course, he's just doing the same thing Zek did.
Of course, you're just as right that it hardly matters now. -
What Local said. Things are a lot friendlier on the small servers than would initially appear, you just have to "go" to where they communicate. The above is how, along with joining one of your server's global channels. Finding people through broadcast or searches is tougher on the smaller servers, because they tend to gravitate more towards the above methods.

It's my guess that it was deliberate to give 50s a "reason" to even go back to Atlas. The devs like you to "get around".
-
Quote:Actually, yes, in the absence of a concrete date from the manufacturer.
Mr_Zek wonders:
Does Amazon often invent release dates for products? -
If, indeed, it was choice and not just coincidental.
-
I, personally, rarely need that any more, but sure, why not? Preventative medicine.

Quote:You mean like I did for about 25 years? Long Roger Daltry ringlets.
DaemonicVisions is a 'Gander?:
Trying being a long hair in Michigan...
Quote:Everybody thinks your a fruit...
However, it also got me a lot of free drinks after turning "speculators" down. -
Meh, he's a rubber duck, so no animals were harmed during filming.
But you are right, we should lay off. I mean, being in New Jersey is probably punishment enough for TCS.
For anyone, really... -
Quote:I'm sorry, but your "madness" is kind of trite and boring. Really closer to "intentional stupidity" than "madness". Try harder.
DaemonicVisions just needs a cup of coffee:
*claps hands*
Oh this is good, go on my friends, dig deep into the madness...
Not that I discredit the value of "intentional stupidity". I mean, have you seen some of my "jokes"? -
You're leaving "redside will now have access to a lot more recipes than currently exist in the BM" completely out of your equation. Availability has been the major complaint from redside, not price (well, price, but in this case, it's a function of availability).

Oh, sure. I meant mostly the five year difference between Bats and Supes, which doesn't show up when you do the figuring.
-
Grant Invisibility does not work on self, sorry.
EDIT: Too slow. -
Quote:Rob has also been accused (rightly, to my mind), in the past, of having his underlings do a lot of his drawing for him and then taking sole credit.
Samuel_Tow should reference my "ethics" comment:
Yeah, that's actually something to keep in mind. I just went though about 20 issues of Image Comics' Freak Force which did have Leifeldian artwork, but I don't think were drawn by Leifeld, and actually looked pretty dang good. -
I see DC's bumped up the ages a bit since Infinite Crisis. Neither Supes nor Bats were over 40 before (and I seriously doubt a five year age difference between them...where did you get this?). Also last I knew, WW wasn't hundreds of years old, although the Amazons were. WW was always played as more "contemporary".

I'm no help, because I look at that Hijack This and get the shivers. I'd be turning about 75% of that stuff off.
-
I'm 100% sure AA is not as old as he claims, either.
Pfftt...94. Yeah, right. -
My favorite is when they walk right by the two signs saying "NO VACANCY" flanking the door, walk up to the desk that has a sign saying "NO VACANCY" right next to it and ask me "Do you have any rooms?".
When we're sold out, I get a half a dozen people a shift like that.

Quote:Since when is slash-fic a "love story"?
Dark_Respite needs the nerd hierarchy chart:
Sorry, I'm already inciting potential rioting and mudflinging by giving Positron a love life (and to a lesser degree, Synapse). I would probably be shot, lynched, or thrown off a building if I took it on myself to write a love story for Statesman.
**runs and hides** -
Quote:Heh, Doohan gets accolades, and they pilloried poor ol' Bill Wyman in the press.
TonyV has an example:
When Jimmy "Scotty" Doohan was 54, he married a 17-year-old fan, to whom he remained married until his death at 85 in 2005. In 2000, at the ripe young age of 80, he had a baby girl, Sarah. The guy is a personal hero of mine for several reasons, and that's one of them. -
Hee, I get that at the hotel I work at all the time.
"It's past midnight, so it's the next day, right?"
"No, sorry, not how it works. It's not 'tomorrow' until noon."

Quote:I don't believe that to any significance for a second. There's far far too much inf out there to get "tied up" in such a manner. Maybe for some individuals, but not for the system as a whole.
Rigel_Kent makes a claim:
Those blind bids will tie up inf, lowering the price of all other goods. -
Quote:Motivational speaker twaddle. Most people barely have the ability to wipe themselves properly.
DaemonicVisions raises expectations:
Everybody has the ability to do great things, just some who don't know how to or scared to... -
Quote:So, to get into the Closed Beta, I should be calling CPS on the devs?
DaemonicVisions imagitates:
YOUR NOT GETTING INTO BETA!!!!
Q_Q tears..
Think of when mom made you smash your gerbils head in cause you didn't get good grades in school, that's Q_Qing my friend... -
That usually my kind of advice, too. Mostly the markets and inventions should be eased into. Jumping in with both feet is liable to be more of a massive info dump than most people can handle.
