Global Email Not fully working

I believe that was an announcement regarding a change for GR, not that it's currently possible.
Type /gmotd to re-read it. I seemed like those changes regarding e-mail and the market are upcoming changes.
Then why even annouce it to the regular population at all? It would have been bette to just announce it on the GR Beta server.
Because people have been asking for cross-faction trading since before Global Email was even a twinkle in the devs' eyes? And this makes a wider audience to hype news to? Make more people excited about GoRo?

Perhaps they also expect people to be able to read and find out information on the forums, cause they have two threads explaining everything in more detail than they could put in a pop up.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Actually the reason for making the announcement now (as well as the PR) is so that you can't feel utterly screwed over when you pay 100M for something one side that is only 5M on the other (and yes this does happen, particularly some of the pet stuff), and realise all you had to do was wait.
Only a small proportion of people read the forums, so announcing it in game was necessary.

Last night, when logging in I got a window (ingame) that stated the global emails could now be claimed regardless of alignment (red or blue side) and hero/villains could also do trades now. (it said it was in preparation for GR)
So I just tried emailing my villain some influence...it's not acceptable coming from blueside.
And it should be, according to the popup from last night.
