What the pancake are you talking about? There is no British English.

There is only English, and Bad English. I speak primarily Bad English, but at least I don't put extra letter U's in everything.

Right. I was just thinking about the heal. There is also Burn, Fiery Embrace, and Consume to deal with.
  3. I don't know if I could break it.

First thing that comes to mind is Phantom Army. Well, we can already make that permanent, and a second copy isn't a possibility.

Next thing is Soul Drain or Rage. We could get more stacks of it... but there is still a damage cap.

Could do neat tricks like using the AoE holds twice in a row? It'll always hold bosses... but that's what Domination or Overpower and single target holds are for, so I don't see a huge benefit here.

Godmode powers: Things like Unstoppable are pointless to stack. One with Shield or Strength of Will might be interesting. MoG could essentially be 30 seconds long and have a second application of Instant Healing.

I'm out of ideas. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

You know, that doesn't exactly work in combat like the OP is talking about. Also, I have a character that can use Magus every 8 minutes or so.

A dead body is a dead body. Let WS use it! :P

The reason I am asking this is that I find WS very weak against single AV. If a teammate dies, I can create a pet to help out on dps.
    That would be cool.
  5. It's even a lot more complex than I mentioned. Dwarf Smite is not equivalent to Incandescent Strike. Even if having Dwarf toggled on would remove the hold and changed the damage, what about the recharge difference and animation time difference?

I would not. When I drop out of Nova to heal, I also want to be able to use Blast or Scatter or Detonation right away, not wait for them to recharge because I just used them in Nova. Likewise, I don't want Dwarf to force a recharge on Incandescent Strike or the heal just because I used them already.

These ATs are not broken toes. Peacebringers are behind the balance curve for sure, but it's not a mechanical or a slotting problem. Having extra powers is not a detriment to the AT. Having to prioritize your slots is not a detriment to the AT without benefits. There are tradeoffs. If you want all your powers, you have to trim slots from somewhere, but you still get twice as many useful powers.

Indeed, but the forums are rated N for No cursing, racial slurs, offensive comments, trolling, and a laundry list of other things.

Also, on an unrelated note, that silly period at the end of your post annoys me.

    Pet Commands

I use a combination of Follow and Goto. When you use a Follow/Defensive command, it clears the pet's aggro list and makes them return to you. Clearing their aggro list makes them stop running after whichever enemy they have targeted and re-aggro on the nearest enemy.

The downside to this is that using Follow/Defensive makes the henchmen inactive for a few seconds, I suppose as a side effect of clearing the aggro list. To get around this, I use the Goto/Defensive command immediately following the F/D command.

    For clarification:

Dark Armor does not require larger mobs to feed its mitigation either. One target will heal more hit points and more often than Energize will. Further, with just two SOs of heal enhancement, Dark Regeneration heals more than your base HP with two targets hit.

Correct. At one point, redraw time was "baked in" to the powers themselves. Back then, it didn't matter whether you had to redraw your weapon or not because you would still spend the time doing nothing while the server waited for you to "draw your already drawn weapon."

At some point redraw was "fixed," and all weapon sets got a buff because the redraw time was removed from the powers. You now only had to waste time on redraw if you actually had to redraw.

As long as you keep to powers within your powerset, the redraw will not occur. If you don't, however, redraw is a very real penalty. In the case of claws, it's not so bad. I have a Claws/Dark myself. Between Hasten, Dark Regen and Judgement I don't really notice the redraw. Ninja Blade was a different story.

Well the Khelds and SoA EAT's have been dropped from a level 50 to level 20 unlock, so technically as Praetoria pre i21 goes up to level 20, there is no reason there could not be Praetorian EAT's.
That's not the point. Kheldians are epic because of the story that goes from level 1 to 50.

Praetoria has no such content to have a story all the way to 50.

The only way I play these topics is to kill the weakest link.

    Numina: 13
    Synapse: 43
    Back Alley Brawler: 62
    Manticore: 39
    Positron: 40
    Sister Psyche: 43

Warshades do not need IOs to be insanely powerful. On SOs alone, you can maintain an approximate 70% uptime on the Eclipse godmode power. No, it's not mindless button mashing like a SS/WP brute, but it's far from the truth to say WS needs IOs at all to be powerful.

so PBs will get afterburner and WSs will get the long range tp in their inherent, obviously either AT can't get the other power due to being locked out.
This would be a reasonable way to address the issue, but as inherents, it might be giving them too much.
  19. Everything Sailboat said is sound.

I will recommend Claws/Dark, but I always recommend /Dark, so I might be biased. My Claws/Dark is actually a brute, and I have not played a more effective mindless mass murder machine (alliteration aside).

The thing I would like to impress is that Follow Up is too good of a power to not combine with a damage aura, especially on a scrapper. You end up with a constant, large damage bonus to your damage aura that will always be ticking away at the crowds.

Again, it's not just the Footstomp to Frozen Aura comparison (by the way, Footstomp has a larger radius). Footstomp also takes the +recharge proc.

Rage affects more than Footstomp; with ancillary pools, we can get up to two extra AoEs, one of them hitting 6 more targets than FS/FA.

Footstomp > Ball Lightning > Electric Fences isn't terribly difficult to pull off, and if you can it means double stacked Rage. Even if the Ice Melee character is throwing out Frozen Aura > Ball Lightning > Elec Fences > Frost, the Super Strength character is doing about 80% more damage.

To keep it simple, ranged stuff goes to Nova (ranged attack powers, glowing touch, photon seekers), melee stuff goes to Dwarf (melee attack powers, pulsar and the selfheals; and gain Taunt and Teleport for 'free' with the Dwarf power).
No! No no no no no no no noooooooo!

That almost works for a PB. But the attacks are on completely different scales of damage. And you can't just give Nova a damage bonus to compensate; it already has one, and increasing it would only do the AT a major disservice. Enhancements in nova form would do less and you'd make the damage cap much easier to reach (which is not a good thing in this case). Further, there are people who shift mid battle. Dwarf Flare then Human Flare, for example, is a common combo which would no longer be possible. PBs would also lose a heal.

It's even worse for a Warshade. Human Warshades don't have an attack analogous to Nova Emanation; Gravitic Emanation is a low damage stun. If you would somehow make the powers function differently depending on the form you're in, you now can't slot one for stun and the other for damage. Dwarf Drain may be easy enough, but Smite and Strike will come from where, exactly? Gravity Well, the hold? The two mires function in completely different ways, as well. One is a long duration, longer recharge buff. The other is a fast recharging AoE attack that happens to buff you for a short time. On top of that, you'd remove the ability to double mire.

In short, it's a phenomenally bad idea. This would be tantamount to fixing a broken toe by amputating the foot.
