    This much I find I have to agree with. I preordered with the knowledge that it would include the beginnings of the Incarnate System.

    I do not consider any of the additional incarnate content to be part of GR.

    My Dark/Fire has been rerolled to a Dark/MA.

    -Storm Kick will let me build 10% less of S/L and E/N defense and still keep the softcap.
    -The above frees up more room in the build for Max HP and Recharge.
    -Cobra Strike will allow me to stack stuns with Oppressive Gloom on bosses if I need it.
    -Dragon Tail has knockdown to give me some wide breathing room for Dark Regenerations.
    -Eagle Claw will allow me to look freaking awesome.

    This tank will be everything my old tank was, and more.

    I notice both of you are talking about PBs. My warshade build experiences the same error.

    I'd guess it has to do with all the form powers and probably a new way that Mids is reading powers. The easiest thing to do now is to rebuild your PB from scratch. If you can't remember how you built it, there's always Titan Sentinel's build export option, which allows you to rip a build directly from the live environment.

    Yes, caltrops is bloody necessary. The ranged attacks I don't have, I use Electric Fences as my attention grabbing attack because it also keeps 'em in place.

    I really need to post my Bots/Traps build. I'll let you guys know when I get that up on the blog.

    Difficulty isn't the question. It's not appropriate. Those enemies meant for that level range because they're on par with Outcasts and Lost within the game's lore.
  15. Ack, you're right.

    The power needs some accuracy and taunt duration is almost as important. It needs to hit, first, but duration also has an effect on how powerful it is. The recharge is well enough, so if you have a few accuracy bonuses, maybe you can get away with just a Taunt IO.
  16. Yeah, here's one.

    Take Storm Kick. Use it as soon as it recharges.

    Take Eagle Claw. Use it as soon as it recharges.

    Take some other powers to fill out an attack chain.

    That's really all there is to it.
  17. If you absolutely cannot scrounge any more slots for it, grab one of the Accuracy/Taunt IOs.

    I think that's half the truth.

    Results are showing that the Tank survives notably better and the Brute applies damage notably better.

    It's not just about scaling the mobs, its the powers they get. A level 20 Pumice is menacing, but a level 50 Pumice would be weak. You have to remember that enemies are designed for certain level ranges.
  21. I love this old thread. I just read through the whole thing over again. Great stuff.

    Quick story from my recent endeavors:

    Lady Grey Task Force with my Bots/Traps. In the first mission, just before the team freed Penelope Yin from Rikti, I started running for the Clockwork King because someone was thinking about getting her killed to fail the mission and I didn't want that. I knew I had to act fast, but I wasn't sure if I could do it.

    I get to the point where he spawns and gave my bots a goto command for a few yards back. I started laying traps; I got a Poison Trap, Acid Mortar, and was in the middle of a Trip Mine when the cut scene started. King and Co. shows up and all hell is breaking loose around me. Provoke the King, throw out my T3 Ion Judgement, drop caltrops, Lightning Fences and Provoke again. Most of troops are dead, I've eaten the most damage I'm going to take, Aid Self and a Triage Beacon down and I'll be good, it's time to focus on the King.

    I managed to kill him before the rest of the team caught back up with Penny, rather pleased with myself.
