I'd like to ask what you were able to gain in exchange for the Heightened Senses power.

Quote:As everyone has been trying to tell you, we're not the disrespectful ones around here. Many people have been genuinely trying to help you, myself included, and you keep throwing that back in our faces.redeeming quality or not has no ties to respect and disrepect. If it was that aweful, even though it's standard format of many written literature, then maybe it was best that they moved on if they had nothing respectful to say or it was THAT hard to read.
Just look at the volume of people you are claiming to be disrespectful. I hope you can one day realize where the real roots of the problem are: your perception and your attitude. -
Couple quick things:
You are a tri-form, so Inky Aspect won't be nearly as useful to you as Gravitic Emanation. I've swapped that out and scavenged some slots for it.
Stygian Circle does not need to be slotted for heal.
You shouldn't ever be using Dark Nova Bolt.
I also added two slots to Gravity Well. It's your hardest hitting Single Target attack, it deserves some damage enhancement.
As far as the incarnate advice goes, the incarnate section of my MFing Warshade guide has everything but Hybrid information. I'm working on that bit, but for now, know that Hybrid is only up 50% of the time, so don't expect it to be your Mez protection. Gravitic Emanation is better for that.
Here's what I'd do with your build:

Quote:That's because the general post was comprehensible. In the "Psi melee (finally) announced" post, someone seen an error in a post, they just corrected and went on with the discussion.
Yours had no redeeming quality. The only thing to get out of your initial post was "Oh God, I can't even read that." -
Quote:Ok, so I'm not crazy. Silly Deacon.Actually, to correct some information...
Assault and Control hybrids DO work but only if you summon your pets while the toggle is running.
I have built a T4 Assault for my Mastermind as well as Support. I did notice that the Assault +15% damage buffs were activating. But, I don't think the damage buffs were applying correctly because it seemed to have no effect on my kill speed.
I will make a point of testing this stuff more thoroughly to see if it helps at all. From what I observed, the buff does trigger but it is unclear if the buff is then applying to the pets correctly. -

Quote:Yes. General rule is that, unless the power recharges in 3 seconds or less, PPMs are a boost.Three a minute translates out to a 20% chance to fire. It also takes the random out of it, and taking into account how recharge will relate to proc firing...
Granted, I'm not well versed in the PPM aspect of the game, but it sounds like it's actually a small boost, is it not? -

Soul Transfer used as a PBAoE stun. While alive.
-
-
Human only warshade. It will be a tough 37 levels, but after that...
-
As Roderick explained, Weave on its own may not do much, but the more defense you add, the more each point helps. Read my softcap guide for a much more detailed explanation.
-
Ambushes give diminished XP nowadays, so you're better off with the cave maps full of patrols.
-
Integration is worth slotting, but Tough and Weave are equally important for a /regen character. Try to find room to have all of them four slotted.

Quote:I think it's pretty obvious that he wasn't talking about the henchmen. I'm pretty sure he only meant the actual Mastermind's damage. From the context of a Mastermind being buffed for damage by Pain Domination, it is largely wasted. However, in the interest in keeping the perception in line with reality...
The combined damage scales for the Mastermind and all six Henchmen, not counting any additional pets, comes out to 3.65 melee and 2.95 ranged. For reference, Blaster is 1.0 melee and 1.125 ranged.
I would say that Masterminds generally can solo them, regardless of pet fragility, as long as Bodyguard mode is properly leveraged. -
Hey, now I have time to answer.
And I need to address this first. I'm no master of Dark Armor. I know what I'm doing, and I think I'm pretty good at helping other people achieve similar results, but I am by no means "the master" of anything. I appreciate the flattery, of course.
That said, I'm afraid that build number one is not viable without incarnate powers. If I turn on your accolade powers and turn off Tactics, your net endurance recovery is about 1.6. That number includes Performance Shifter, but not Hasten crashes. I would expect your ST attack chain to be around 2-2.5 eps; the AoE chain would be far more. Incarnate powers like Cardiac or perhaps Agility and Ageless could solve that, and that's cool if you only plan to stay at level cap. Personally, I like to be able to exemplar.
I like build two even less. You're looking at even less net recovery and now you don't even softcap to anything. This one has a lot of Melee, S/L, AoE, and F/C defense, which is kind of neat, but it's really slot expensive for the benefit. -
That would require rebalancing, but many people would prefer it. Look at Shield and Willpower for examples of crashless T9s. Weaker overall, immune to recharge buffs, but actually useful.
What I would really like to see is things like Soul Transfer get the Unrelenting treatment so that it has a use even if your character isn't dead. -

Quote:I'll jump in, I have a fantastic Spines/DA stalker. Love the set, love the interactions there. You get Cloak of Fear to stack with Assassination's fear. But this here thread is about stalkers not tanks. Spines/WP, Spines/DA, Spines/ELA and the likes. Anything you would like to add on that aspect?
But what I like most about it is the defense I've been able to stack on top of the resistance. Think of it this way, resistance effectively multiplies how many hit points you have. Defense multiples how many hit points you have again.
Trying to build characters without defense toggles is like trying to fight with one hand behind your back. Maybe you can work without it, but you'd do far better to actually use it. -
Quote:To be honest, you are right to question the details of my story, but not the end result. That's the difference between qualifying something by memory and quantifying something by memory. That makes me question the validity of how amazing it was to level your warshade, then.
I am 100% certain that my Warshade has provided more fun than any other character I've played. I'm not 100% that all the details I've mentioned here are completely accurate, but it's how I remember it.
What would help me in this case is that I wrote all that right after I had finished leveling the character, so the memory of it was much more fresh. Were I to try writing about that experience from scratch now, well...
