Calling Dechs for DA help
I'll take a look at it if I remember and have time.
I know a little bit about DA too, but I'm at work and don't have access to Mids'.

Likewise at work. I'll get to this as soon as I can.

Hey, now I have time to answer.
And I need to address this first. I'm no master of Dark Armor. I know what I'm doing, and I think I'm pretty good at helping other people achieve similar results, but I am by no means "the master" of anything. I appreciate the flattery, of course.
That said, I'm afraid that build number one is not viable without incarnate powers. If I turn on your accolade powers and turn off Tactics, your net endurance recovery is about 1.6. That number includes Performance Shifter, but not Hasten crashes. I would expect your ST attack chain to be around 2-2.5 eps; the AoE chain would be far more. Incarnate powers like Cardiac or perhaps Agility and Ageless could solve that, and that's cool if you only plan to stay at level cap. Personally, I like to be able to exemplar.
I like build two even less. You're looking at even less net recovery and now you don't even softcap to anything. This one has a lot of Melee, S/L, AoE, and F/C defense, which is kind of neat, but it's really slot expensive for the benefit.

Thanks guys for taking a look. As I said, wasn't sure where to go with this build. My spines/dark scrapper I love and as soon as they port spines over to Brutes I will remake him and likely never play another toon again (hopefully, if they port the set over with whittling it away to nothing). I really enjoyed my Staff/Dark but the Fire/Dark is just hands down fun.
To be honest, i usually detoggle tough unless I am doing something crazy so that does save on end and I usually do run lvl 50+. Any tweaks you can recommend on build 1?
Evening all,
Ok, I have been leveling up my Staff/Dark and my Fire/Dark brutes and have to say I find the Fire/Dark/Fire just to much fun. Plus I love her concept and costume and I have a weakness for /dark since my spines/dark scrapper was my main for almost 3 years!
Anyways, I know Dechs is the master of /Dark but would love anyone's input on the builds below. I have been running build #1 - which includes S/L softcap, +end to handle issues, decent resistance, and close to 30ish def to all.
However, while toying with mids I camp up with build number 2 and while it seems a little out there for me (I usually build around S/L softcap first then everything else) I was wondering how it would handle for the long haul.
Any input is appreciated!
